The cover of the Necronomicon trembled violently, and every wrinkle on the distorted face on the human skin seemed to spasm.

It tried to close itself, the pages flipping a few times, but it was pinned to the spot by some force.

Thor didn't say anything, he just took a step forward.

That's it.

The Necronomicon let out a piercing scream, not a threatening one, but a genuine, Soul Stone- deep terror. The face on the cover was contorted, its features squeezed together, and its mouth gaping wide open.

Its attitude made a complete 180-degree turn in an instant.

"Oh--! This... this incredibly handsome gentleman!"

His face instantly relaxed, forcing out an extremely obsequious smile, the wrinkles even curving upwards.

"You've come to see me, is there anything I can do for you?"

Thor raised an eyebrow; this guy really knows how to read the situation.

The Necronomicon's voice changed from hoarse to high-pitched, with a trembling, pleading tone.

"Do you need me to take you through time? Or locate the universe? Summon demons? Summon the undead? Whatever I'm good at—I can do it all!"

The library was silent for three seconds.

Doom's hand emerged from beneath his Cloak, his fingers slightly spread, then slowly closed.

He had dealt with this book countless times, and each time, it had the same arrogant attitude, speaking sarcastically and vaguely, always dodging questions.

He tried threats, magic suppression, and even the oldest binding spell in Latveria, but nothing worked. This book was simply unafraid of him.

Now, it wags its tail in front of an outsider.

Morgan stood beside Doom, a complex light flashing in her turquoise eyes. She didn't speak, but her fingertips curled slightly inside her sleeve.

Just how powerful is this man? He can make a thousand-year-old evil being kneel down on the spot just by meeting him?

Behind them, Wanda, Felicia, Lorna, Alison, and Ash, whose straitjacket was loosened on one side, squeezed into the library entrance.

Ash's pupils contracted sharply when he spotted the open book deep inside the bookshelf.

"You damned thing--"

"Aaaaaaahh...

The current arrived precisely on time. Ash jumped up between the bookshelves, knocking over two rows of ancient books. He convulsed and fell to the ground, recovering three seconds later, lying on the floor panting heavily.

Thor walked up to the Necronomicon and looked down at the fawning face.

"You can't solve the zombie virus in this universe, can you?"

The Necronomicon's smile froze for a moment, then it shook even more eagerly.

"My lord, you truly are a master! These zombies are completely different from the undead I command." Its wrinkles twitched. "I excel at controlling the Soul Stone and corpses of the dead, and navigating the passages to the Underworld... but this virus doesn't count as an undead, and I'm truly... powerless against it."

Thor didn't reply.

The Necronomicon immediately quickened its pace.

"However! I have other skills! Time reversal, dimensional positioning, demon summoning, curse weaving, Soul Stone contracts—you name it, sir! I can do anything! Just give the order—"

"Alright."

Thor spoke calmly, tilting his head as he examined the book. His mental database was racing— the Necronomicon, a cross-dimensional knowledge carrier that had lived for thousands of years; it might be useful to keep it.

Come with me.

The Necronomicon paused, "Follow... follow you?"

Thor raised his hand, giving the other party no chance to react.

The Law of Space unfolded silently, and an invisible crack tore open in the palm of his hand.

The Necronomicon didn't even have time to react before the entire book, along with the fixtures on the shelf, was sucked in by an invisible force.

The face on the cover let out a final, joyful scream, "Yes, sir!"

The library returned to complete silence, an empty space on the bookshelf, dust slowly settling under the lights.

Doom stared at the open spot for five seconds.

Behind the iron mask, no one could see his expression at that moment.

But his shoulders were taut, and his hands, hidden beneath his Cloak, were tucked deep into his sleeves.

Thor turned around, past Doom and Morgan, and his gaze fell on Wanda at the back of the crowd.

Wanda.

Wanda looked up from beside Lorna.

"It's lunchtime." Thor's tone was completely different from before, as casual as if he were in his own living room. "What would you like to eat?"

Before Wanda could speak, a hoarse voice emerged from the back of the crowd.

"Barbecue! I want barbecue!"

Ash got up from the ground, his straitjacket hanging crookedly on his body, his face still bearing red marks from the electric shock, but it didn't affect his mouth at all.

"Hey, lady in red—" He winked at Wanda, "You have a great figure, want to come with me—"

Everyone took a step back at the same time.

Felicia retreated behind the bookshelf, Lorna pulled Alison toward the door, and Morgan shifted half a step to the side, his turquoise eyes holding a hint of amusement.

Ash continued, "--I may look a bit rough around the edges, but let me tell you, in my world I'm--"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh--!!!"

This current was significantly stronger than before. Ash was frozen in place, his limbs stiff, his mouth wide open, and white smoke billowing from his collar, cuffs, and trouser legs.

After being electrocuted for a full two and a half minutes, Ash collapsed on the ground like a lump of mud, with wisps of smoke rising from his mouth, his eyes rolled back, and his body recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Wanda looked away and thought for two seconds.

"Barbecued meat is fine too." She paused for a moment. "Turkish kebab."

Thor nodded. "Wait a moment."

The next moment, he closed his eyes.

The Law of Space unfolded, and in an instant, all the barbecue recipes, cooking manuals, and restaurant menus that still existed in this apocalyptic world were located, extracted, and gathered within his perception range in 0.3 seconds.

The Law of Analysis were activated simultaneously, and tens of thousands of images, texts, and recipes flashed through his mind.

The Law of Reality begin to operate.

A long table appeared out of nowhere in the open space in the center of the library.

The table was laden with all sorts of food—Turkish swirl grill, Brazilian kebabs, Argentinian grilled beef ribs, Korean grilled pork belly, Japanese charcoal-grilled yakitori, American slow-smoked beef brisket... Steam rose, and the aroma of fat filled the entire library in an instant.

Morgan le Fay stared at the table for three seconds before finally speaking.

"Is this... edible?" She extended a finger and tentatively touched the nearest plate of grilled meat, her fingertip feeling the solid warmth and grease. "Not an illusion?"

"Don't worry." Thor had already torn off a skewer of grilled meat and was gnawing on it. "What I created using the laws is exactly the same as the real thing. Molecular structure, nutritional components, taste—it's all the real deal."

Morgan withdrew his fingers from the roast meat, a thoughtful look flashing in his emerald eyes.

Doom stood still, but his gaze lingered on the long table that had appeared out of nowhere for a long time.

Wanda had already sat down, taken a plate of Turkish kebab, and was eating quietly.

Felicia hesitated for two seconds before moving closer—she hadn't had a hot meal in seven days. Lorna pulled Alison to sit on the other side of the table.

Ash was still lying on the ground.

The silence lasted for about three minutes.

A sound broke the chewing noise.

" Thor."

Alison put down the food in her hand, looked up, and stared straight at Thor with her blue eyes.

Do you have a way to deal with this zombie virus?
