As the evil Wolverine's body dissolved into specks of light, Laura and the others had lost count of how many times they had been shocked today.

Thor, the Prince of Asgard from Norse mythology, could not only wield lightning but also use all sorts of strange abilities. Every one of them felt extremely dangerous, especially the final move that had killed the evil Wolverine.

Gambit, Remy, had spent the most time around Wolverine out of the group. He knew all too well how terrifying Wolverine's heaven-defying healing ability was. Even when Phoenix had lost control, the Phoenix Force had failed to destroy him.

Yet the muscular blond man before them, who called himself Thor, had killed him with a wave of his hand. It was simply too terrifying!

He suddenly felt that, compared to the man before him, even Cassandra seemed a little unworthy of mention.

Elektra said nothing, merely reflecting once again that it was a good thing these monsters weren't on her Earth.

Erik still wore a cool expression, but his slightly trembling fingers clearly gave him away.

Laura didn't think much of it. She merely glanced at Thor, slung on her backpack, and prepared to leave.

"Laura, don't leave yet. Do me a favor, and I'll take you to find Logan. He's not like the one just now. The people of his world despise him, and I think you two would get along."

Thor called out to Laura as she was about to leave, once again acting like a Riddler.

Laura turned back and silently watched Thor for a long while before uttering a single word. "Okay!"

"What about you? I'm planning to kick Cassandra's ass, and I need help." Thor looked at Gambit and the others.

Gambit grinned and agreed without hesitation. "Perfect. I've wanted to kick Charles's sister's ass for a long time. The other X-Men never got the chance, after all."

"Whatever you say." Elektra looked unconcerned.

Erik said nothing and simply nodded.

Thor was gratified to see that. His elaborate effort to show off hadn't been in vain.

Cassandra was clearly stronger than she had appeared in the movie. Even though he had killed a number of her underlings, it was only treating the symptoms, not the root cause.

He also needed people to deal with Cassandra's lackeys. Both sides had a common goal, so wasn't it perfectly normal for them to work together?

"Should we go now, then?" Elektra asked.

Thor shook his head. "There's no rush. A gentleman can wait three days to take revenge. Let me develop a little first."

Once he absorbed some more law fragments, he could run completely wild. He had to watch out, though: Cassandra might also send her underlings to collect those fragments.

But with his current strength, he could kill anyone who came in an instant!

He had only recovered a little over half his strength, and he was already invincible throughout Knowhere. Once he got out and absorbed more complete laws in the multiverse, just how powerful would he become?

"Oh, right. Do you have any colorful crystal fragments that look pretty and scatter light a little?"

Thor looked at Elektra and the others as he asked.

Elektra thought for a moment before answering. "I've come across some before, but they didn't seem to be useful, so I didn't take them."

Thor grew excited at her answer. He abruptly placed both hands on Elektra's shoulders, his eyes burning. "Where?"

Elektra felt a little unsettled under his intense gaze and answered at once. "Not far from where we're hiding. Are we going now?"

"Of course! The sooner I get them, the sooner I can kill that bald woman!"

"All right, follow me."

Elektra turned and was about to lead the way when I heard Thor's voice behind her.

"No need to go to all that trouble. Point me in the right direction, and I'll take you there myself."

Beep, beep, beep! Beep, beep, beep!

Before Elektra could answer, a piercing car horn sounded, instantly shattering the atmosphere.

A jeep that looked quite old was speeding toward them, with Knowhere's true big boss, Alioth, following right behind it!

"Oh, wow! The classic game scenario where picking up an NPC triggers the plot!"

The jeep soon pulled up in front of them. The driver was a middle-aged man with short black hair and a distinctive full beard, dressed in a shirt and suit that looked like they were from the nineties.

In the passenger seat was a blond woman wearing a skintight black-and-green battle suit, with a green hood at her back.

"What are you standing around for? Get in!"

The middle-aged man looked over the group, his voice urgent.

The blond woman followed his gaze to the right, and that one look left her stunned.

"Thor?!!"

"Sylvie?!"

Thor and Lady Loki stared at each other.

Sylvie was puzzled. Why did the Thor in front of her know her?

But the situation was urgent, and she couldn't spare the time to ask. She hurriedly said, "Thor! You and your companions, get in! If you wait any longer, that monster will catch up!"

Thor had no intention of getting in. He took a good look at Sylvie: her long blond hair was somewhat disheveled, her features had the standard golden proportions, and she looked rather slender. Overall, she had a clean, capable appearance, with a wanderer's fierce edge. Hmm... her pecs might not be as prominent as his own.

"I know Loki's a narcissist, but isn't this a bit much? He actually fell for a variant of himself from a parallel universe. Tsk, tsk, tsk..."

Sylvie froze, then immediately realized that the Thor before her was different. He actually knew about her and Loki?!

"Thor! Get in, quickly! If you wait any longer, it really will be too late!" The middle-aged man sounded frantic, glancing back from time to time at the dark cloud bearing down on them.

That must be the TVA agent Mobius, right?

He counted as one of his foolish parallel-universe brother's good friends.

Emma Frost walked over to Thor and glanced at the approaching Alioth. "What? You want to take it on?"

Thor shook his head. "There's no need. That thing is just a watchdog. Its master is a bit troublesome, so there's no need to provoke it for now."

With that, Thor casually picked a branch off the ground and threw it a short distance away. Green light flashed in his hand as he instantly activated the Law of Time and the Law of Life. In the span of a few breaths, the withered branch rapidly grew into a towering tree hundreds of meters tall.

Ignoring the newly arrived, stunned pair in the jeep, Thor waved his hand again. The Law of Space flickered, and everyone present vanished from where they stood.

As soon as Alioth arrived, it saw the enormous tree. Without the slightest hesitation, it opened its mouth and took a bite.

After finishing the main course in a few bites, it set its sights on the jeep beside it and swallowed that in one gulp too. Barely a tenth full, it drifted unsteadily around the area, occasionally opening its mouth to swallow a spaceship or some wreckage whole.

After Alioth had gone far away, a flash of green magic passed over a patch of grass a few hundred meters from where Thor and the others had just been.

Four figures appeared without a sound.

At their head was Old Loki, his face aged and a classical green-and-gold cloak draped over his shoulders. His eyes were world-weary and wary.

Beside him stood Kid Loki, his gaze cold and his bearing ruthless. Though young, he exuded a murderous air.

At their feet lay an emerald-green Alligator Loki with a sinister gaze, quiet but dangerous.

Standing in the middle, gazing with a complicated expression in the direction Thor had vanished, was Loki, who had just escaped Alioth's pursuit with his life.

Old Loki narrowed his eyes slightly, his voice low and grave:

"That Thor... his power is strange. He's stronger than anyone or any god we've ever met, and more dangerous too."
