The dull thud of metal clashing echoed in the spacious cabin.
Her pride in her status as a Thanagar warrior was utterly crushed by Thor's few words.
Valeria kicked the Nth Metal warhammer that had left a shallow crater at her feet.
"It's already broken? It's so fragile." Valeria pouted, her fingers flying across the tablet.
"Her heart rate soared to 240, neurotransmitter secretion was extremely disordered, her pupils dilated, and her muscles spasmed. Reed, her mental defenses completely collapsed."
Reed adjusted his frameless glasses, his gaze remaining fixed on the virtual screen of the control panel.
"Record her brainwave frequency at this moment." Reed's fingers left afterimages as they tapped on the virtual keyboard.
"The mental fluctuations of this alien race under extreme emotions are very valuable for our research on improving our mental resistance field. Let's also extract a copy of her gene sequence."
The two were completely oblivious to their surroundings, treating Shayera like a lab rat.
Valeria stopped what she was doing, turned her head, and looked Thor up and down.
" Thor, how do you know all sorts of people?" Valeria raised one eyebrow, her curiosity undisguised.
"This bird-like creature is clearly not a product of our multiverse. My personal terminal stores a massive amount of multiverse data, and even Reed's detectors cannot find her racial genetic sequence."
She pulled a tiny silver scanning probe from the pocket of her white coat and tried to attach it to Thor's head.
"Did you secretly connect to some high-dimensional information network behind my back? Let me connect too, otherwise this data gap is too painful."
Thor raised his hand and slapped Valeria's wrist away.
"Don't try to shove your junk at me." Thor kicked away a few silver pipes blocking his way.
"Not everyone is someone I know." Thor shrugged.
"I know a little bit about those who are somewhat famous."
Thor thought to himself, "Those comics, anime, and movies I watched in my past life weren't for nothing."
He turned his head, his gaze passing over the control panel and landing on America standing to the side.
America was leaning against the metal bulkhead, her hands in the pockets of her denim jacket.
Upon meeting Thor's gaze, America's muscles tensed instantly.
Thor's vision was extremely sharp.
His Heaven-Defying Comprehension has been fully unleashed.
Law of Analysis, Law of Calculation, and Law of Space flowed across Thor's body.
The air around him visibly distorted.
Strands of golden laws were frantically arising and ceasing deep within his pupils.
America run down her spine from his gaze.
It felt as if I had been thrown under a high-powered microscope.
From skin texture to gene helix, everything was thoroughly examined.
America swallowed hard and instinctively moved closer to Reed.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" America's voice trembled as she pulled her hands out of her pockets and held them protectively in front of her chest.
"Don't even think about turning me into the next Barbie doll! I'm warning you, I can run away anytime!"
Reed immediately stopped typing.
He took half a step forward, blocking half of his body from America's view.
" Thor, she's still a child." Reed spoke very quickly, with an undeniable air of command.
"High-intensity law-based radiation will disrupt the stability of her spatial abilities. If she goes out of control, the entire laboratory will be caught in spatial turbulence."
Thor ignored Reed.
He stared intently at America, his mind racing.
He was analyzing the energy fluctuations that had occurred when America opened the portal.
But nothing special was found.
It is the application of the purest Law of Space.
Thor himself had long since completely mastered the Law of Space, and could even freeze space, Oblivion space, and perform all sorts of fancy spatial applications.
He can freely travel between various parallel universes in Marvel, and even break the fourth wall to disrupt the narrative.
But why can this little girl directly cross the cosmic barrier between Marvel and DC, while he can't?
Thor looked away and pinched the bridge of his nose.
Could it be that this girl's abilities are bound to some higher-level rule, or perhaps her very existence is a key to a different dimension?
" America." Thor raised his hand and pointed into the air.
"Open another portal to that winged woman's universe."
America peeked out from behind Reed and pursed her lips.
"Do you think I'm an automatic door that opens whenever I want? I just used up a lot of energy."
"Open." Thor uttered only one word.
America gritted her teeth, but didn't dare refuse.
She had witnessed the terrifying methods of the man before her.
She raised her right fist, and a dazzling blue energy flashed between her knuckles.
The surrounding air rippled dramatically under the blue light.
America punched the air in front of her.
Click.
The spatial barrier emitted a crisp sound like shattering glass.
A giant pentagram portal quickly took shape, and a pale blue light curtain rippled within the cabin.
Behind the door, the clean and tidy streets of the Metropolis came into view.
Thor strode forward, heading straight for the portal.
"What are you going to do?" Valeria immediately held up the tablet.
"The physical laws of the unknown universe may be completely in conflict with our own. Your direct approach would cause molecular structures to collapse! I haven't finished extracting your data model yet!"
Thor didn't stop at all, stepping into the blue light curtain.
The moment they passed through the portal, two completely different cosmic laws collided violently.
The repulsive forces of the DC Universe pressed in from all directions, attempting to completely crush this outsider.
Thor snorted coldly.
The Law of Power and Law of Energy within the body erupted simultaneously.
They forcefully pushed aside this repulsive force.
He lingered in the void behind the door for three seconds.
The Law of Space are activated.
Thor raised his right hand and forcefully pointed his index finger into the air.
An extremely tiny blue energy coordinate is firmly pinned to the edge of this universe.
After finishing all this, Thor turned and walked back to the laboratory, stepping onto the metal floor once more.
"Close it." Thor gestured with his chin toward America.
America loosened her fist, and the blue light went out.
The star-shaped portal suddenly contracted, turning into an extremely bright point of light, then emitted a crisp popping sound and disappeared completely.
Thor walked to the spot where the portal had disappeared.
He closed his eyes, sensing the blue coordinates he had just left behind.
The coordinates are very clear.
But the distance is extremely far, separated by countless insurmountable high walls.
Thor opened his eyes and stood with one leg in front of the other.
He raised his hands, fingers spread, and thrust them forward sharply.
The Law of Space were pushed to their limit.
The air inside the cabin was violently distorted, emitting a hissing sound as if it were about to collapse.
Reed quickly shielded Valeria behind him and pressed a red control button.
A transparent energy shield rose up in front of them.
"High-energy reaction warning." Reed stared at the frantically jumping data stream on the console screen.
"The curvature of space is approaching a critical value. Thor, you are forcibly tearing apart the multiverse barrier! This will cause dimensional collapse!"
Thor was completely deaf to the sounds around him.
Several veins bulged on his forehead.
His hands gripped two invisible edges tightly in the void.
The muscles in his arms instantly swelled, stretching the sleeves tightly.
The Law of Power is activated.
"Open up!" Thor growled, yanking his hands apart.
Sizzle!
A deafening explosion rang out in the cabin.
A crack was forcibly torn open in the spatial barrier.
Golden energy pulsed wildly at the edge of the crack, tearing at the surrounding air.
The silver pipes on the cabin walls burst, sending sparks flying.
Several massive server units emitted piercing alarms.
Thor continued to exert his strength, tearing the crack into a two-meter-high spatial portal.
Sweat trickled down Thor's temples and dripped onto the metal floor.
Forcibly opening a portal across the multiverse system would be extremely taxing on him in his current state.
Before Thor could even catch his breath, the scene on the other side of the portal made all the muscles in his body tense instantly.
The street behind the door was not the same as the one in the Metropolis had just seen.
Instead, it's the interior of an extremely luxurious bar.
A dark red velvet carpet, and Crystal chandelier that sparkles through the air.
A man stood in front of the bar.
The man was wearing a well-tailored, extremely expensive custom-made suit.
With blond hair and blue eyes, his face was so handsome it was flawless, like an angel descended from heaven, perfect beyond compare.
He had a cigarette dangling from his mouth, and was tilting his head slightly, looking at Thor through the portal.
"Oh?" The man exhaled a puff of white mist.
The white mist swirled in the air, lingering for a long time.
"A visitor from afar."
The man took a step, his leather boots making a very soft clattering sound on the wooden floor.
He walked to the edge of the portal and stopped.
"That's quite an act of courage to cross the world."
The man raised his hand and put the cigarette in his mouth.
"But this door isn't one you can just walk through whenever you want."
The moment Thor saw this man, his danger perception center shattered.
Not a single energy fluctuation leaked out.
There was no manifestation of any law or power.
But that absolute sense of oppression, which transcends all dimensions and laws, directly impacted the depths of Thor's Soul Stone.
The threat of death came from all directions.
boom!
Seven-colored lightning erupted instantly within Thor's body.
The Stormbreaker Axe appeared out of thin air in his hand.
The Law of Thunder, Law of Space, and Law of Destruction, among others, began to activate simultaneously.
The violent energy blew the metal dome of the laboratory away.
The terrifying pressure, on Multiverse Level, was released without reservation.
The energy shield Reed had erected flickered violently under this pressure, its surface covered with countless cracks.
America was thrown into the air by the blast wave and slammed heavily onto the control panel.
The tablet in Valeria's hand went black, emitting a puff of blue smoke.
Shayera was originally kneeling on the ground, was forced to the ground by this oppressive force, spitting a mouthful of blood onto the metal floor.
Thor paid no attention to anyone else in the lab.
He gripped the handle of the battle axe tightly with both hands, his knuckles cracking from the excessive force, his eyes fixed on the man behind the door.
There was no other reason; it was simply because he recognized the other person.
He is the man in the DC Universe, second only to God and Michael.
Lucifer Morning Star.
