Lucifer, behind the door, turned his head and sized up Thor.
" Thor from Northern Europe mythology in another heroic universe?"
Lucifer exhaled a smoke ring.
White smoke swirled in the air, lingering for a long time.
The smoke contained some kind of unfathomable rule, which even Thor's Heaven-Defying Comprehension could not yet comprehend.
"You're a little different from the Thor I know."
Thor didn't reply.
The seven-colored lightning within his body surged wildly through his blood vessels.
The Law of Destruction coalesced into black arcs of electricity on the axe blade.
The Law of Space sliced the air around him into countless tiny fragments.
The Law of Time spread beneath his feet, attempting to lock onto Lucifer's timeline.
All the power of the laws vanished without a trace as they approached the edge of the portal.
Lucifer simply smiled when he saw Thor's serious demeanor.
He turned around and walked towards the back of the bar.
The leather boots made a very soft clattering sound as they stepped on the wooden floor.
The sound pierced through the barriers of physical space and resounded in Thor's mind.
Lucifer picked up a bottle of very old red wine and pulled out the cork.
The dark red wine was poured into a stemmed glass.
Lucifer picked up his glass and swirled it gently, leaving a reddish ring of wine on the glass.
"You don't need to be so nervous, child."
Lucifer, holding his wine glass, slowly walked back to the edge of the portal.
"I'm just here to deliver a message."
Thor watched Lucifer's every move.
There were no energy fluctuations.
That oppressive feeling that seemed to reign supreme always lingered around us.
What letter?
Thor opened his mouth and uttered three words.
The words echoed in the broken laboratory.
Lucifer tilted his head back and took a sip of red wine.
He put down his glass and chuckled.
That being does not wish for anyone to disrupt the cosmic barrier.
Lucifer toyed with the wine glass in his hand.
"Especially someone at your level."
Thor's brain began to work rapidly.
America just opened the portal, and no higher-dimensional being intervened.
It seems that her ability to cross cosmic barriers at will is not due to any particularly special ability.
It's simply because she's too weak.
So weak that they were not even noticed by beings of God's caliber.
An ant can crawl across a border without attracting the attention of any guards.
But I am different.
I have just entered the Multiverse Level and mastered more than thirty kinds of cosmic laws.
Forcibly tearing apart the spatial barrier would cause too much disturbance.
This directly triggered the highest-level alarm in the DC Universe.
A ruler of a territory would never allow an uncontrolled and powerful outsider to trespass at will.
Thor released Stormbreaker with his right hand, and the axe transformed into a stream of light, disappearing into his body.
The lightning and power of laws on his body surface quickly subsided.
The violent energy fluctuations vanished without a trace.
"That's all?"
Thor looked at Lucifer.
"You just came to advise me against opening portals carelessly?"
Lucifer nodded.
"Right."
Lucifer finished the rest of the red wine in his glass in one gulp.
"As long as you don't forcibly tear open the portal, no one will bother you."
Lucifer placed the empty glass on the bar.
"After all, I also want to have some fun."
Thor immediately understood the subtext of those words.
You can't force the door open yourself.
By using America's abilities, she could enter the DC Universe as a passenger without offending those high-ranking beings.
The premise is that we don't cause a cosmic-destroying event.
Lucifer picked up the bottle again and poured a second glass of red wine.
"There's one more thing I need to remind you of."
Lucifer, holding his wine glass, looked at Thor.
"You can't bring those two powerful people you know."
Two figures immediately flashed into Thor's mind.
God Loki who has mastered the Law of Time throughout the multiverse.
Franklin Richards possesses the ability to alter reality.
"They're both at the same level as me."
Thor countered with a question.
"Isn't this enough?"
Lucifer shook his head.
"Those two are not as simple as you think."
Lucifer raised the wine glass in his hand.
Let's have a drink next time we meet.
Lucifer brought the glass to his lips.
I look forward to your arrival.
The words had barely left his mouth.
The golden light at the edge of the portal instantly went out.
The two-meter-high spatial crack closed out of thin air.
No energy fluctuations were generated.
The torn spatial barriers were completely smoothed over.
The bar had vanished without a trace.
The laboratory was a complete mess.
The metal dome vanished, revealing Knowhere, gray sky.
Sparks flew from the broken silver pipe, and several server units emitted black smoke.
The energy shield that Reed had erected shattered completely.
America collapsed beneath the control panel, rubbing her shoulder.
Thor raised his right hand.
Green Law of Time burst forth from my fingertips.
The threads spread rapidly, covering the entire laboratory.
Time can be reversed.
The metal dome, which had been blown away, flew back from the sky and fit precisely into the edge of the wall.
The ruptured pipe was reconnected, and the sparks traveled back into the fracture.
The black smoke retreated back into the server unit, and the shattered energy shield reformed.
In the blink of an eye, the laboratory was back to normal.
Thor turned around and walked toward Shayera, who was lying on the floor.
There was a large pool of blood in front of Shayera.
The oppressive force just now shattered her internal organs.
Thor pressed down with his left hand.
The green light of the Law of Life enveloped Shayera's body.
The blood on the ground turned into a red mist, seeping back into Shayera's body through her pores.
Shayera's broken ribs automatically reattached, her damaged internal organs rapidly repaired, and her breathing gradually became steady.
Inside the transparent capsule, the Dark Gwenpool pushed aside the metal plates pressing down on her.
She dusted herself off and scanned the laboratory.
The Dark Gwenpool pointed at Shayera, who had just gotten up.
Something's not right!
She grabbed her hair with both hands and screamed.
"This isn't Rune King Thor either!"
The Dark Gwenpool scrutinized Thor for a while, muttering to herself.
"He's not blind! And he's not an old Thor!"
She stomped her foot suddenly.
"Damn it! Could this be a new Thor drawn by the Marvel Universe writers?!"
"Also, this intensity is way too much! Doesn't the screenwriter care about that?!"
The Dark Gwenpool turned around and waved her arms at the air.
"And what about the DC Universe? How did it end up being grouped with the Marvel Universe?"
She kicked the metal base next to her, making a dull thud.
"Is the Source Wall made of paper?!"
As someone who knows the manga's setting, the Dark Gwenpool's worldview is currently collapsing.
She had thought she had control over the entire narrative.
But the Thor before her completely shattered her preconceived notions.
Thor actually drew a personal warning from Lucifer of the DC Universe.
Interactions that transcend copyright barriers plunge the Dark Gwenpool into utter chaos.
Her Law of Narrative, which she was so proud of, were not even qualified to be activated under the pressure of that dimensional force.
Valeria emerged from behind Reed.
She ran quickly to Thor's side.
Who is that man?
Valeria pointed to the spot where the portal had disappeared.
This is the first time I've ever seen you treat someone like this.
Valeria looked Thor up and down.
Is he very strong?
Thor nodded.
He raised his finger and pointed to Shayera beside him.
"Certainly."
Thor looked at Valeria.
"They are one of the very top people in the universe, at the very top of the pyramid."
Thor countered with a question.
"Do you think it's strong or not?"
Shayera had just regained her balance.
Upon hearing Thor's words, she froze on the spot.
She was just severely injured, coughing up blood, by the overwhelming aura released by Thor.
Now, I was instantly healed by a burst of green light.
This power to control life and death was completely beyond her comprehension.
Even Superman from the Justice League couldn't do that.
This man, who could easily crush her, was actually so wary of the blond man behind the door.
When did such a powerful being appear in my universe?
Even monsters that can easily tear apart the barriers of the universe dare not provoke them.
Shayera bit her lower lip, leaving deep marks on it with her teeth.
She was still struggling with the fact that she had betrayed her home planet and was being estranged from the Justice League.
But now, these personal emotions have been completely put aside.
We must return to the Justice League as soon as possible.
This level of intelligence must be transmitted back immediately.
Whether it was that blond man or Thor in front of them.
If either of them were to cross the cosmic barrier, it would be a devastating catastrophe for Earth.
Reed pushed up his glasses.
He walked to the control panel and began typing rapidly on the virtual keyboard.
" Thor, the energy fluctuation index just now has exceeded the detector's limit."
Reed turned his head and looked at Thor.
"The way the other party severed the portal completely violated the fundamental laws of physics."
Reed pointed to a straight line on the screen.
"There's no energy decay process; it goes straight to zero. This is scientifically impossible."
Thor ignored Reed's analysis.
Science is no joke in the face of Lucifer.
Valeria, chin in hand, circled Thor once, then glanced at Shayera beside her, before uttering a startling statement.
"You don't actually like this jerk, do you?"
Valeria stopped in front of Thor, tilting her head to ask a question.
"Although she is indeed very beautiful and meets your aesthetic standards."
Valeria pursed her lips.
"But dating across the multiverse is too risky."
Thor looked at Valeria with a face full of question marks. What's going on in your head all day long, you little brat?
He raised his right hand and slapped Valeria hard on the back of the head.
Snap!
The crisp sound of a slap echoed in the laboratory.
"Wow!"
Valeria screamed in pain.
She covered the back of her head with both hands and squatted down on the metal floor.
"Stinky Thor!"
Valeria tilted her head back and shouted at Thor.
"Don't you know how precious my head is?!"
Valeria rubbed her head, her eyes welling up with tears.
"This is the smartest brain in the entire multiverse!"
Valeria pointed at Thor's nose.
"If you break it, you'll be responsible!"
Thor took a step forward and kicked Valeria in the shin.
Valeria was kicked and landed hard on her backside.
Can't you fill your head with something else?
Thor looked at her with annoyance.
"Go study your metal!"
America got up from the ground and dusted herself off.
She looked at Thor, her arms crossed over her chest.
"So, will I still be able to open portals in the future?"
America pointed to the spot where the portal had disappeared.
"I heard everything that blond man said."
Thor turned his head and looked at America.
"It can be opened."
Thor uttered two words.
"As long as you don't take me to blow up their base."
Thor walked to the control panel and picked up the tablet that Valeria had dropped on the floor.
The screen is completely black and its surface is covered with cracks.
Thor casually tossed the tablet onto the control panel.
" Reed, get her a new one."
Thor pointed at Valeria.
Valeria sat on the ground, her hands covering her head, her mouth agape, ready to continue her protest.
