Kara's Confusion

In Star City, the night air was filled with a damp mist and the sour smell of garbage cans.

Oliver, the Green Arrow, delivered a precise elbow strike, slamming a thug's face into Brick Wall with a dull thud.

"One last question, where is your boss?" he asked in a low voice, like a cheetah poised to pounce.

Just then, a very faint whooshing sound rang out behind him.

Oliver didn't even turn his head, his grip remaining firm, and he blurted out a complaint. "Come on, Kara, can't you see I'm busy?"

Another punch, and the thug in front of him slumped to the ground.

Just as he was about to interrogate the other trembling man, a clear female voice rang out beside him.

"Their boss is three blocks away, on the top floor of a detached apartment building, tallying up this week's drug proceeds."

Supergirl Kara landed lightly on the ground, without even stirring up a speck of dust.

Oliver paused for a moment, then slapped the last remaining thug unconscious.

He straightened up, stretched his shoulders, and looked at Kara.

"Fine, you win. So, what do you want?"

Kara didn't answer immediately, but instead held out her hand, her palm holding a Crystal that was sparkling clear.

Inside the sphere, several unidentifiable green plants stretched out their leaves, and there were even miniature rocks and streams, creating a perfect miniature ecological landscape.

Oliver leaned closer, raising an eyebrow in slight confusion.

"What? You're starting to research office decorations now? Or do you want to put this on my arrow to make it look more... eco-friendly?"

Kara shook her head, a rare look of confusion on her face.

She didn't say a word, and her figure vanished from the spot in an instant.

In less than a second, she was back, this time with a large piece of black coal in her other hand.

Under Oliver's astonished gaze, Kara's eyes blazed with a burning red light as her Heat Vision precisely sliced through the coal, her five fingers working together to produce a teeth-grinding "crunch."

Black powder trickled down between her fingers. A few seconds later, she opened her palm, revealing a perfectly faceted diamond, about the size of a fist, lying there quietly, reflecting a dazzling light in the dim lights of Star City.

Oliver's eye twitched.

"So... you're planning to enter the jewelry industry? I admit, it's much more promising than your cousin's journalist salary."

"I went to see Thor," Kara finally spoke, her voice filled with confused struggle. "I asked him how I could become as strong as him."

She held up the Crystal. "Then, he casually pinched this for me and said that if I could do this, I would be a strong person."

She weighed the diamond in her hand again. "But it's easy to make a ball, I can even make a diamond ball. So I don't understand what he's talking about."

Oliver took the enormous diamond and then the Crystal.

Diamonds feel cool and heavy to the touch; they are a pure physical marvel.

The Crystal, however, felt as smooth and warm to the touch as a piece of jade, and its weight was unbelievably light, as if the miniature world inside had no mass at all.

"Didn't you ask your cousin? That big guy, he must know something about mystical things, right?" Oliver asked, tossing diamonds between his fingers.

"I asked Clark, but he couldn't understand it either." Kara's expression became even more troubled. "He said it felt like an ordinary glass ball."

That's why I came to find you; your mind... is a bit convoluted.

"Thanks for the compliment." Oliver rolled his eyes. "What about Batman? Isn't this kind of riddle game his favorite?"

"I don't know him very well," Kara said softly.

Bruce Wayne's face, which always looked like someone owed him millions, made her instinctively keep her distance.

"Fine, I guess I'm out of luck." Oliver sighed, pulling out his communicator. "I'm going to make a call."

He dialed a number.

" Wally, come over here, I've sent you the coordinates."

A muffled voice came from the other end of the phone, like someone chewing something. " Ollie? I just took care of the robbery at Central City Bank..."

Before he could finish speaking, a bolt of red and yellow lightning appeared out of thin air and stopped in front of Oliver and Kara.

With half a hamburger still in his mouth, the Flash Wally, the Flash, took out his communicator and looked at Oliver. "What's going on? Did some idiot mess with you again?"

Oliver, not wanting to waste any more words, shoved the diamonds and Crystal into Wally's arms.

"You're a scientist, help her figure out what this thing is. I have important business to attend to."

After he finished speaking, he whistled, and a dark green motorcycle automatically drove up to him.

With the roar of the engine, Green Arrow vanished from the street corner in an instant.

Wally looked at the two things in his hands, then at Kara.

He picked up the diamond, held it up to the light, and whistled, "Wow, Kara, not enough money? Planning to make some extra cash by crafting diamonds? With this skill, Tiffany would have to hire you as their head craftsman."

Kara, unusually, joked, "Maybe, it's faster than robbing a bank."

Wally tossed the diamond back to Kara, his attention completely absorbed by the Crystal.

He tapped it with his finger, and the sound was exceptionally crisp.

He tried to analyze the molecular structure by vibrating his fingers at supersonic speeds, but found that his vibration frequency was like hitting an invisible wall, impossible to penetrate.

"That's interesting." Wally's expression turned serious.

He studied it for a long time, but couldn't figure it out.

"No, this thing is too strange. We need to use the League's equipment," Wally said to Kara.

Kara nodded.

The next second, the two transformed into streaks of light and appeared directly in the main control hall of the Watchtower via the Justice League's teleportation device.

"I'll take it to the lab to scan the components and energy reactions," Wally said, striding towards the lab.

He had only taken two steps when he bumped into three people.

Batman, Bruce Wayne, remains in the shadows as always.

Beside him was Zatanna, the League's magical advisor.

Standing before them was Doctor Fate, who wore a golden helmet and exuded an aura of order and mystery.

"Hey, Bruce, Zatanna... Doctor." Wally was about to greet them when he sensed something was off.

Zatanna's gaze was fixed on the Crystal in his hand, and her relaxed expression instantly turned extremely serious.

As for Doctor Fate, although his expression was hidden by his golden helmet, the previously stable magical field around him suddenly rippled violently.

" Wally," Zatanna's voice trembled slightly as she stepped forward, cautiously eyeing the ball, "Do you... do you know what you're holding?"

Wally's smile froze on his face.

"Well?"

He held up the Crystal in his hand, looking bewildered. "A... Crystal? A Crystal with exceptionally exquisite craftsmanship and somewhat strange physical properties?"

"No."

A deep, ancient voice, seemingly traversing endless time and space, resounded.

Doctor Fate slowly emerged. He didn't look at Wally, but rather "looked" at the Crystal. Beneath his golden helmet, every syllable emanating from him carried an undeniable air of authority and... vigilance.

What you hold in your hand is a pocket dimension.

Wally was stunned.

Kara was stunned.

Even Batman, who had been silent all along, suddenly narrowed his eyes, which were hidden behind his mask.

Pocket dimension? They certainly knew what that term meant.

That is the power to create a miniature world independent of the Prime Universe, a power possessed only by gods.

Doctor Fate's voice continued, even more somber than before.

"Moreover, it was created casually by a top-tier being..."
