Cassandra, I'm Here to Kick Your Ass

Thor's eyes lit up as he looked at the five law fragments in Classic Loki's palm.

"Thank you, Loki. You really are my little brother." Deeply moved, Thor gave Classic Loki a huge hug.

Saving him had been absolutely the right call!

"Emma, once I've absorbed the law fragments, I'll help you kick Cassandra's ass and show her what happens when she offends the queen!"

Emma Frost glanced at Thor and said one thing before leaving.

"Remember our deal. And leave her breathing when you're done."

Thor watched Emma Frost walk away and scratched his head. That was Emma Frost for him: as cold and aloof as ever. It was clearly a deal, yet coming from her, it sounded like an order.

Forget it. Never mind that tsundere; getting stronger was what mattered most.

Thor watched the others scatter to rest and recover. He found a secluded corner, sat down, and began examining the law fragments in his hand.

One fragment each of the Law of Soul, Law of Creation, Law of Oblivion, Law of Power, and Law of Reality.

He had even come across two new laws, and both were quite powerful.

The Law of Power was just what it sounded like: overwhelming strength could work miracles and overcome any technique.

The Law of Reality was even more terrifying. Its name was just as straightforward and blunt: it could alter reality.

In theory, it was practically creation out of nothing, like a creator.

Its fundamental effect was much the same as Scarlet Witch Wanda's Chaos Magic, except Chaos Magic had a higher ceiling. After all, it was magic created by the dimensional lord Chthon.

A multiversal big shot wasn't someone a small fry like him could compare himself to right now. Once he got out of Knowhere, he would find a few Stones to comprehend and play around with. That way, he could use their corresponding laws in any universe he went to afterward.

After all, he remembered that in Marvel, the Infinity Stones basically only worked in their respective universes. Outside their own universe, they were essentially ordinary rocks.

As for Infinity Ultron, the ruthless figure who had rampaged across the multiverse, Thor honestly wasn't quite sure what was going on there.

Were the Infinity Stones from his universe special?

Or did Infinity Ultron carry his own universe with him whenever he fought? That would mean his universe followed him as he invaded other universes in the multiverse, naturally allowing the Infinity Stones to unleash their full power.

Of course, those were all his personal guesses. He would have to meet Infinity Ultron to find out what was really going on.

Come to think of it, could Infinity Ultron still use the power of the Infinity Stones inside the Time Variance Authority?

Forget it, forget it. That wasn't something a little Highfather like him needed to worry about. He had business to take care of first.

This time, however, Thor didn't absorb the law fragments so quickly. A full day passed before he finished.

When he first started, he had thought he would be done in no time. He hadn't expected each of the five law fragments Classic Loki had given him to contain not one strand of law, but five!

Classic Loki really was just too overpowered. Even the law fragments he had handed over so casually contained more complete laws than the ones Thor had found himself.

By cultivation levels, he was now at the Late Highfather Level. Restoring himself to his peak would take just a few more fragments.

Excellent! Now this was how a wish-fulfillment story was supposed to start!

He could now fulfill his promise to restore Betsy's body, too. For the glory of Asgard, for Asgard's legacy, Cassandra would contribute her incomparably precious life to the cause!

He, the mighty transmigrator Thor Odinson, had finally arrived at his moment of glory!

"Heh heh heh..."

The corners of Thor's mouth rose involuntarily, stretching into an exaggerated grin.

He finally understood why those Dragon Kings and War Gods liked to smirk. The joy of crushing someone with superior strength was beyond imagining!

Thor didn't even know how strong he was now. In any case, he remembered that this body's original base strength had only been around ten thousand tons or so.

After absorbing the Law of Power fragment, it had multiplied several times over.

Not bad, not bad. In terms of strength alone, he was a little Superman now.

No wonder some of his fellow transmigrators were always overjoyed when they got a Superman template.

Superman's normal strength was roughly in the million-ton range, even greater than his own with his cheat. He was a truly overpowered monster, a monster of raw stats.

His left punch dealt massive damage, and his right punch hit hard.

Kindness really was all that held Superman back. Otherwise, a casual breath or a wave of his hand would be enough to unleash a disaster that could destroy Earth.

Thor opened his eyes and unclenched his hand. The law fragments turned to powder, trickling from his palm and drifting lightly onto the soil.

"Ahem... Everyone, are you ready? That bald woman's doom has come!"

Thor waved his hand, and the Law of Life's faint emerald-green glow fell evenly over everyone.

Before long, everyone's fatigue had vanished. The hidden ailments in a few people's bodies quickly faded and were healed.

Gambit Remy pulled out a small mirror. Seeing that he looked almost ten years younger, he spoke up to lighten the mood. "Praise Thor! I feel like I could keep fighting for a few hundred more years!"

Of everyone there, none was more delighted than Elektra. After all, she was the only thoroughly ordinary human present.

Blade Erik was at least a half-vampire, half-human hybrid. She really had nothing but an ordinary human's frail body and the fighting skills she had spent years honing.

Now, the many lingering ailments and long scars from her old injuries had disappeared. Having long grown used to a body covered in scars, she found it somewhat unreal.

She stood there in a daze for quite a while before looking at Thor. "Thank you, Thor."

"It's nothing, Elektra. I don't believe any woman likes having scars on her body."

Emma Frost was standing not far from Thor. She paused when she heard that, then continued squeezing little Groot's head.

Little Groot looked back at her, somewhat displeased.

"I am Groot!"

(You're hurting me!)

Emma Frost ignored him, merely easing her grip a little.

Betsy walked over, glanced at Thor, and pointed to a scar on her arm.

"When are you going to get rid of this one for me?"

"Huh? Didn't it disappear just now?"

Thor froze when he saw the scar, then looked somewhat bewildered.

What kind of scar was this? He had mastered nearly half the Law of Life, and even that couldn't remove it?

"No."

"How did you get that wound?"

Thor frowned. The Mutant universe really was a bit too overpowered.

"A dark mage put a curse on me. Before he died, he said this scar couldn't be removed. I've tried many times, too."

Betsy recounted what had happened to her with a calm expression.

Unwilling to accept it, Thor used the Law of Life on Betsy once more. Yet nothing changed.

"It's no use. The same thing happened just now."

"Your Mutant universe is ridiculous. Even a dark magic curse is this far beyond the norm."

Betsy raised an eyebrow, looking as though she didn't know what was going on either.

"Forget it. Once we've dealt with Cassandra, I'll uphold our deal and restore your body."

Hearing that, Betsy stood quietly in place, her gaze fixed on Thor's face. She didn't speak immediately. Instead, a smile appeared on her face. It was the first time she had smiled from the heart in all the years since her body had been replaced.

Her eyes curved gently, her smile as faint as mist yet more genuine than ever before, like a purple phalaenopsis finally unfurling amid flashing blades. She answered softly:

"All right."
