Near the Metropolis, beneath Stryker's Island.
This place is no longer a heavily guarded prison, but a mad den where post-apocalyptic survivors gather.
At this moment, the air in this underground world was almost ignited by the frenzied roars.
" Harley! Harley! Harley!"
"Tear her apart! Sweetheart! Tear that Superman bitch's face to shreds!"
Hundreds of ragged, crazed criminals and lunatics surrounded a makeshift wire fighting arena, shouting with all their might to cheer on the woman in the center of the arena, who wore a red and black bodysuit and had her hair in pigtails.
Harley Quinn, the Harley Quinn.
Opposite her stood a woman who seemed completely out of place in this chaotic environment.
Lois Lane.
She was wearing a simple combat uniform, her face covered in dust, but her back was ramrod straight.
She completely ignored the venomous curses and Abomination around her, simply flexing her wrists and calmly staring at Harley Quinn across from her.
She cannot afford to lose this match.
A message has come from Apokolips's traitor, " Sleeper," that Darkseid is about to personally lead an expedition to Oa, attempting to completely destroy the Green Lantern Corps. This is the moment when Apokolips' defenses are at their weakest, and their only chance to rescue the controlled Justice League members.
Therefore, she needs manpower, enough manpower, to activate the Boom Tube on the top floor of the Lex Luthor Building.
She knew all too well how insane this plan was, almost as indistinguishable from the actions of her already depraved husband.
But Earth has run out of time; even at its worst, things can't get much worse.
"Ready, Louis baby?" Harley Quinn let out a sharp laugh and then charged at her like a cannonball.
As a woman who can thrive in a hellish place like Gotham City, Harley's close-quarters combat skills are definitely not weak.
Every punch and kick she threw carried a reckless, mad ferocity, seemingly without any strategy, yet cunning and deadly.
Lois remained calm and composed. Coming from a military family, her combat training from a young age gave her physical abilities and reaction speed far exceeding those of ordinary people.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
The dull thuds of fists and feet colliding were incessant.
The two women went back and forth in the arena, and soon both of them were bruised and battered.
Lois tripped Harley with a sweeping kick, but Harley rolled on the ground and wrapped her legs around Lois's neck, and the two began to wrestle.
The onlookers, now even more excited, roared in waves.
Just as Lois seized an opening and prepared to end the fight with a punch, a bolt of lightning suddenly flashed across Harley's hand.
"Sizzle--!"
An electric shock glove!
Lois reacted swiftly, dodging to the side, a flash of anger crossing his face. "Come on, Harley! We agreed on hand-to-hand combat!"
"Hehehe! Barehanded? But my boxing gloves are on my hands!" Harley sneered, brandishing her stun gloves as she lunged forward again.
The crowd below erupted in laughter; they were just hoping Harley would resort to any underhanded tactic she could think of.
"Well done, Harley!"
"Electrify her heart!"
Lois could only dodge awkwardly, and the situation instantly turned passive for her; she had to finish the fight quickly!
Seizing an opening in Harley's attack, Lois suddenly lunged forward, executing a beautiful grappling move that twisted Harley's hands behind her back, pinning her firmly to the ground.
She snatched the stun gloves, ready to retaliate in kind.
However, at that moment, a strange smile appeared on Harley's face.
She suddenly raised one foot, and her toe struck Lois precisely in the lower back.
"Sizzle--!"
A violent electric current instantly coursed through Lois's body. She froze, looking down in disbelief, only to discover that Harley's boots also had an electric shock device strapped to them!
"Well..."
Lois convulsed, his vision went black, and he collapsed heavily to the ground, completely losing consciousness.
"Oh ho--!!!"
The crowd erupted in deafening cheers, with lunatics throwing bottles and other objects into the air in celebration of Harley Quinn's victory.
Ten minutes later, in Harley Quinn's "office".
This used to be the warden's room, but now she's made a mess of it, and the walls are covered in graffiti.
Lois had woken up and was sitting on the sofa, still trying to persuade the crazy woman in front of her.
" Harley, I need your help. This isn't just for me, it's for everyone."
"Come on, Louis, baby." Harley Quinn said lazily, legs crossed, trimming her nails with nail clippers. "You lost, so your request is impossible. But, since you played a game with me, I can grant you another request, like... all drinks are free tonight!"
After she finished speaking, she shouted something outside.
A cheer immediately erupted from outside the door.
Captain Boomerang George Harkness, carrying a case of beer, poked his head in through the door. He glanced at the dejected Lois, grinned, and said, "Give up, big reporter. I have to admit, Superman's a jerk, but you're a good wife. Too bad nobody here cares."
After saying that, he picked up the wine box, turned around, and was about to leave.
"Bang--!!!"
The office door was violently kicked open from the outside, the force of which sent the entire door flying and crashing heavily against the opposite wall.
Captain Boomerang was startled by this sudden turn of events, and the bottles of wine in his arms spilled onto the ground with a "whoosh".
He looked up in astonishment and saw a Legion of people crowding into the doorway.
Leading the group was one of his most dreaded adversaries— Barry Allen, the Flash.
Behind Barry stood a large group of vigilantes from the Bat family, including Batwoman Kate, Batgirl Barbara, Nightwing, Red Hood, Damian, all with expressionless faces.
Further on, there's the demon Etrigan, reeking of sulfur, Shazam has reverted to his youthful form, and Commissioner Gordon with a stern expression.
And... Zatanna, the magical queen who just came back to life in the bar, and Constantine Hellblazer, who's smoking a cigarette and looks impatient.
Just this group of people was enough to make Captain Boomerang's legs tremble.
Is this some kind of team-building activity for Gotham and the Justice League Dark?
However, that's not all.
A woman in a black trench coat with an eerily gentle face, a tall, black-haired girl in a Superman- style suit with a cold expression, and a burly man in casual clothes with long, flowing blond hair walked out from the back of the crowd.
Captain Boomerang didn't recognize them, but he could feel that the pressure these three people exerted on him was more terrifying than all the others combined.
Thor's gaze swept past everyone and landed directly on Harley Quinn, who sat on the "throne" with a look of surprise on her face.
He walked out slowly, ignoring the restless lunatics around him, and also ignoring Captain Boomerang stood in front of Harley.
Harley Quinn.
Thor spoke, his voice calm yet clearly carrying throughout the room.
"Once the top psychiatrist at Arkham Asylum, now..." He looked Harley up and down, then chuckled.
"A madman, a coward, an appendage of Joker, can only cower in this tiny place, finding amusement in bullying a defenseless woman, and then waiting to die."
The moment the words left his mouth, the air in the entire room seemed to freeze.
Harley Quinn's smile vanished instantly.
You can call her crazy, you can call her cruel, you can even call the Joker to her face.
But there are two things that are absolutely forbidden.
First, they said she was a coward.
Secondly, they say she's just a "possession" of the Joker!
"Who the hell are you calling --" Harley exploded instantly, jumping up from her chair, her beautiful eyes filled with violence and madness.
Captain Boomerang also whirled around, gripping his boomerang tightly, staring intently at Thor, and letting out a threatening growl.
But the group of people behind Thor didn't even budge.
Just kidding, if Captain Boomerang manages to hurt even a single hair on this guy's head, they'll all change their name to the " Wonder Woman Fan Club."
Thor didn't give Harley a chance to lash out; he continued in that calm, almost contemptuous tone:
"I'm planning to host a ' Deadman Lottery ' on Apokolips. As you can see, I've invited quite a few guests."
He pointed to Barry, Constantine, and the others behind him.
"However, I bet you won't dare to participate."
Thor leaned forward slightly, getting closer to Harley, a playful glint in his golden eyes.
"After all, you're just a coward hiding behind a man, aren't you?"
