At the mountaintop, the Classic Loki watched Thor suddenly vanish from his spot and teased Betsy beside him, "What are you thinking now? In his heart, his Mjolnir seems more important than you, my beloved... tsk tsk tsk."
"I don't understand how someone who loves his hammer so much could have fallen for Jane Foster, that mere mortal, in the first place?"
The Classic Loki shook his head, and with a thought, opened a portal leading to the bottom of the mountain.
Betsy's face was calm, revealing no expression, and her tone was as flat as if she were saying that the weather was nice today.
"It's just a hammer."
She stepped into the portal without looking back.
Classic Loki hesitated for a moment, then followed.
Aren't you jealous?
Betsy didn't turn around, and simply and decisively threw out a sentence.
"He's loved his hammer for thousands of years. How long have I known him?"
She paused.
What's the rush?
"Interesting. No wonder Thor chose you."
Classic Loki narrowed his eyes, watching Betsy's retreating figure, and followed closely behind.
"Where do we get the last two gems?"
Betsy took a few steps to Thor's side, glanced at the Soul Stone emitting an orange glow in his palm, and asked.
"Let's go to a place that's both familiar and unfamiliar to you—Earth in this universe."
Buzz--!
A circular portal radiating blue light instantly tore open space and appeared before the three of them. Thor led the two to a remote alley on Earth.
"Oh, it's Thursday today? I suggest we go for a Crazy Thursday meal?"
Thor walked out of the alley and looked at the giant screen in New York Times Square, where Jameson was vehemently criticizing Spider-Man, a public nuisance in New York. The date was displayed in the lower right corner of the screen.
"Shouldn't we go find the gems first?"
Betsy was a little confused by Thor's train of thought, and what exactly was Crazy Thursday?
"I don't care, I'm just here on this trip with you two anyway, so how are you planning to make money? By the Law of Reality?"
The Classic Loki patted his chest, instantly transforming into a standard black and white suit, with a briefcase in his hand—a look befitting an elite.
"No, Loki, that would be a waste of your talents. You've come all this way to America, why not experience its unique features?"
Ten minutes later, Thor looked at the group of Black guys who had fallen asleep immediately, and spat in disgust.
"Pah! You're so poor, how dare you come out and rob people?"
Betsy was uncharacteristically speechless, looking at Thor seemed like a completely different person, and rubbed her forehead.
"If you're going to rob someone, why don't you rob a gang? How much money could these guys possibly have on them?"
"Damn it! Gum! Betsy, you're a genius!"
"Let's go! Let's rob the gangsters in Hell's Kitchen, the starting area for Marvel characters! It's a must-see location for fanfiction!"
Betsy looked at Thor, who had suddenly become somewhat excited, like a husky, and then glanced helplessly at the Classic Loki.
Was he like this before?
"No, maybe Surtur just knocked him senseless."
Classic Loki shrugged, looking like he didn't know either.
"Well, this weird thought process reminds me of Wade's avocado."
Betsy made a casual remark and was the last to step into the portal.
Hell's Kitchen.
Thor emerged from a warehouse in just one minute, carrying two silver-white boxes.
"If I remember correctly, a meal shouldn't cost this much, right?"
Betsy raised an eyebrow.
"It's just a side job, and I'm also planning to test whether the money in this universe can still be used in the Prime Universe?"
Thor pulled out a wad of banknotes and put the two boxes into his personal storage space.
"Why haven't you taken the remaining two gems? Is it because the people guarding them are very strong?"
"No, no, no, Betsy, strictly speaking, I only need to get one more gem. I already know the Law of Time that Sherlock Holmes possessed; I just need to go see Vision later."
" Vision? That's a really strange name."
"That's not surprising. It's a true intelligent life form, a synthetic robot created by Tony Stark and his team."
"Similar to Sentinels?"
Betsy recalled some unpleasant memories.
"No, he's a true mechanical life form, you could think of him as an android. But this isn't the time to discuss that. I'm getting a little hungry, how about you?"
"Listen to your fatso, Thor."
Classic Loki said he didn't care.
"Hey, Loki, don't think I won't beat you up just because you're an old man now."
Thor glared at Loki with great displeasure. This Classic Loki was getting more and more mischievous; he needed to find an opportunity to teach him a lesson.
The three of them disappeared into a small alley and walked into the KFC across the street.
Edinburgh Old Town, Scotland, United Kingdom.
A young couple pushed open the restaurant door and walked out, strolling along the deserted street.
Wanda, do you remember what I told you?
A thin man in a dark brown wool coat spoke to a woman next to him wearing a red down jacket.
"I remember you told me a few weeks ago that the gem had started issuing warnings. What? Did it go off again just now?"
Wanda reached out and gently stroked the man's face.
"No, in the past few weeks, the gem reminded me at least three times a day on average, but not today. There was only that one very slight and faint one just now, as if the presence that used to threaten the gem had disappeared."
Vision looked at Wanda with a serious expression.
"I think I need to go see Stark."
"No, Vision, aren't we living well now? There's no need to get involved in those crises anymore. The feedback from the gems is good, isn't it?"
Wanda grabbed Vision's hand, stopping him from leaving.
"Okay, Wanda, maybe you're right. Let's go home."
"Um."
Wanda nodded gently, took Vision's arm, and the two walked slowly forward like an ordinary couple.
On the rooftop, Betsy was at a loss for words to express her astonishment.
" Thor, you mean this woman is in love with a robot?!"
"Yes! The multiverse is full of wonders; maybe one of you is a catgirl."
"Hehe, then I guess there must be a golden Shiba Thor in the multiverse. Don't you think you look a lot like him?"
Thor didn't answer, but instead used the Law of Reality to conjure up fluffy cat ears and a tail for Betsy.
"That is the host of Chaos Magic, but it is too weak now."
The Classic Loki recognized the terrifying power within Wanda at a glance.
Humans, possessing power capable of overturning the multiverse, only desire a simple and ordinary life; the human species is far too complex.
Betsy stroked her fluffy tail and ears, then looked at Thor. "Feels nice. Where's my little chibi figure? When did you put it away without telling me? I really liked that little thing."
"For you."
The thought of being a major villain is exciting! Stealing Vision right in front of Wanda, using him, and then throwing him back—it sounds like so much fun!
Thor used the Law of Reality and the Law of Elements to reconstruct the chibi-style figure, then flew onto Betsy's shoulder, left a message, and disappeared from the spot.
"I went."
Wanda and Vision were about to arrive at their apartment building when Wanda's expression suddenly turned serious. A red glow unconsciously appeared on her hand as she looked around warily.
" Wanda, what's wrong?"
Seeing Wanda's sudden alertness, Vision quickly scanned the surroundings and found no source of danger. He was about to say something to Wanda when he found himself frozen in place, unable to move.
Thor appeared beside Vision in a flash, freezing him in place with the Law of Time, and then directly absorbed him into a personal space created by the Law of Space, leaving behind a message.
"Hehehe... Wanda, lend your husband to me for a bit. Don't worry, I'll return him to you when I'm done, hehehe...!"
