• Xu Xiao overcame his heart demon and Golden Immortal tribulation, concealed his karma, and told Sun Wukong he was ready to contend with the Western Sect.
• Xu Xiao brought Sun Wukong to the Dragon Ball world, trained the Zhao brothers, and forced Korin and Kami to help him learn about Senzu Beans and Dragon Ball creation.

Xu Xiao built his power in Noxus through alchemical potions, then invaded Ionia to reach Sun Wukong and confront the Spirit of Ionia. Noxus’s anchors suppressed Native Magic, and after Master Yi’s death, Irelia secretly urged Ionia’s monasteries and sects to unite.

• Xu Xiao killed Pidun and the caravan guards, took the map, and chose to travel to Noxus, where Katarina mistook him for a Demacian mage and attacked him before their misunderstanding came to light.
• Xu Xiao entered Noxus, gave Kelrak a potion that awakened new runes, and instructed him to spread the potion’s power and build an army.
• Xu Xiao subdued Swain and LeBlanc, gained Swain’s cooperation, and was recognized by the Trifarix as Noxus’s Archmage, with the Arcane Warriors formed around his potions.
• Xu Xiao learned that Master Yi had taken Sun Wukong as a disciple, confronted them at the Wuji Sect, and discovered that Wukong had learned magic in dreams from the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
• Xu Xiao searched the Spirit Realm for Wukong’s true spirit, encountered the Spirit of Ionia, and fled before persuading Swain to launch an invasion of Ionia.
• Darius led Noxian forces into Ionia, where Arcane Warriors and Ley Line Anchors broke through defenses and suppressed Native Magic as Ionian groups mobilized to resist.

Xu Xiao rescued the golden ape, then joined Xuanzang’s scripture journey and challenged the Western Sect’s plans by breaking the monk’s faith and remaking his fate. When Guanyin confronted him, Xu Xiao and Wukong fought back until Great Emperor Zhenwu intervened, leaving the conflict unresolved.

• Xu Xiao destroyed the Spirit of Ionia, freed the golden ape, and killed the Darkin who came ashore, using its remains to forge the ape a new body.
• After five hundred years, Xu Xiao challenged Guanyin over her manipulation of mortal karma, then joined the Journey to the West with the monkey, now Wukong.
• Xu Xiao and Wukong escorted Xuanzang west, but Xu Xiao let bandits attack an old herdsman’s family and killed them when they threatened the household.
• Xu Xiao took Xuanzang to the Underworld and used the Karmic Mirror Terrace to show him the bandits’ crimes and the harm they would cause if spared, shattering Xuanzang’s Buddha heart.
• Xu Xiao traced Xuanzang’s tangled fate and restored his Buddha heart with a Buddha seed, provoking Buddhist dharma protectors, whom he fought and accused of framing him.
• When Guanyin confronted Xu Xiao and Wukong, Xu Xiao weakened her merit defenses and wounded her manifestation and Dao Fruit in their battle.
• Guanyin tried to strike Xu Xiao with the Three Lights Divine Water, but Great Emperor Zhenwu stopped it and challenged her to settle the dispute in a private match, prompting her to withdraw.

Xu Xiao exposed the Western Sect’s schemes as Xuanzang transformed into Heart Light Tathagata and Wukong gained the Daluo realm, bringing the pilgrimage’s conflict to Spirit Mountain. After the Primordial Heavenly Venerable intervened against Jieyin and Zhunti, Xu Xiao joined the Transmigrators’ Alliance and left its headquarters for an unknown world.

• Xu Xiao showed Xuanzang the planned trials and the consequences of the pilgrimage, prompting Xuanzang to question Buddhist doctrine and resolve to change the Three Realms.
• Xu Xiao exposed the greed behind the Guanyin Monastery tribulation and later revealed the Kingdom of Sahali’s curse, leading Xuanzang to vow to guide and save all living beings.
• Xuanzang’s vows earned the Heavenly Dao’s recognition and made him Heart Light Tathagata, while Xu Xiao broke through to Daluo and turned the curse against Spirit Mountain.
