Yang Zhen arrived at the Heavenly Mountain Holy Land, mastered the Heavenly Ladder Tower, and refined its Heaven-Ascending Token. He then faced Luo Shan Yang in the contest for the Sword Spirit, ending the arc by revealing a strange sword form as Luo Shan Yang summoned the spirit.

• Nine Dragons Great Saint took Yang Zhen to the Heavenly Mountain Holy Land and pushed him to advance his Momentum, helping him reach the third heaven.
• Yang Zhen entered the Heavenly Ladder Tower, broke through its levels, opened its hidden world, and caused the tower to transform and reveal its ninth level.
• Yang Zhen refined the Heaven-Ascending Token and entered the ninth level, while the Holy Lord ordered Fuyao and Li Qingfeng to train toward the fourth heaven of Momentum.
• The Heavenly Mountain Holy Lord asked Yang Zhen to subdue the Sword Spirit, but Luo Shan Yang arrived and Yang Zhen learned he was Sword Devil Li Qingtian’s disciple.
• Yang Zhen encountered Luo Shan Yang at the mountain and struck him with the Great Deficiency Sword after Luo Shan Yang challenged him.

Yang Zhen outwitted the Sword Devil, joined Zhou Tong on the road to the Great Wilderness Emperor Road, and won the Three Mountains Grand Gathering by mastering its hidden formation and the Twelve Azure Lotuses. He led the Azure Lotus Sect’s group into its holy land, where he began unraveling the golden dragon’s connection to a skyborne coffin.

• Yang Zhen kept the Sword Spirit by explaining that all things could be a sword, then talked the newly enlightened Sword Devil into questioning his breakthrough by describing three stages of seeing a mountain.
• The Sword Devil attacked Yang Zhen and swallowed Luo Shan Yang’s soul, but Zhou Tong struck him away and revealed that he had reached the Final Step.
• Zhou Tong took Yang Zhen as a temporary disciple and brought him toward the Great Wilderness Emperor Road selection, where Yang Zhen mastered a new route through the Unnamed Blood Refinement Method and survived a Heavenly Tribulation.
• At the Three Mountains Grand Gathering, Zhou Tong declared Yang Zhen his master after slapping Weng Yongli, and Yang Zhen broke the Azure Lotus Sect’s hidden formation inside the stone stele.
• Yang Zhen claimed and demonstrated nine of the Twelve Azure Lotuses, then accepted the Azure Lotus Sect Master’s offer to enter the sect’s sacred ground and retrieve the Heaven and Earth Azure Lotus.
• Yang Zhen prepared a way to deceive the order of heaven and earth, opened the holy land with a formation plate, and led the Azure Lotus Sect Master, Zhou Tong, Granny Chenggui, Lin Miaoyi, and the elders inside.
• A golden dragon attacked the group, and Yang Zhen noticed its vacant eyes and the faint Qi activity linking it to the ground beneath a lightning-wreathed coffin.
• Yang Zhen pressed his hands to the ground and chanted, causing the golden dragon to shrink before the astonished group.

Yang Zhen took control of the Three Palaces after defeating Yan Zixu and exposed signs that the Great Wilderness Emperor Road had been altered. The Star Spring Sword chose him as the group entered the road, and he prepared to cross the Land of One Severance using a deceptive Divine Ability.

• Yang Zhen entered the enormous coffin, defeated the Heaven and Earth Baleful Devil with the Evil Shadow Black Taotie, and found a Dao Seed and a seed of the Heaven and Earth Azure Lotus.
• Yang Zhen refused to refine the Dao Seed, then used his modified Heavenly Severance Dragon Elephant Sword to help Zhou Tong defeat Tu Mieyang.
• Yang Zhen challenged the Three Palaces disciples, defeated Yan Zixu, and took leadership of their group.
• Dao Devil, Sword Devil, and the others arrived as the Great Wilderness Emperor Road began opening, and Yang Zhen warned that someone had tampered with it.
• Yang Zhen explained the dangers and rewards of the Road of Sacrifice and Desolation and warned that someone might obtain the Karmic Dao Source.
• Yang Zhen entered the Great Wilderness Emperor Road with the others, and the Star Spring Sword flew into his hand, drawing pursuing cultivators after him.
• Yang Zhen fled with Yan Zixu, Shi Feifei, and the others, then placed formation plates near himself and announced he would deceive the heavens to cross the sea.

Yang Zhen swallowed the Karmic Dao Source and faced successive Heavenly Punishments, awakening the Power of Faith before entering the Land of Three Desolations. The arc left him breaking through to the Saint Venerable Realm as he fought World-Destroying Heavenly Punishment in the Savage Wilderness World.

• Yang Zhen entered the Land of One Severance, fought the Defiers of Heaven, and interrogated Zhong Er about their cultivation and their pursuit of the Karmic Dao Source.
• Yang Zhen found Shi Feifei at a pool, and the two discovered an underwater palace that concealed the Karmic Dao Source.
• Yang Zhen swallowed the Karmic Dao Source and charged into the Species-Annihilating Heavenly Punishment to protect the water monkeys, who sent him the Power of Faith.
• Yang Zhen returned the Power of Faith to the water monkeys and rejoined Zhou Tong, Shi Feifei, and Yan Zixu as stories of his actions spread across the Great Wilderness Emperor Road.
• Yang Zhen led his companions through the Gate of Life into the Land of Three Desolations, where they found a world rich in Heaven and Earth origin Qi.
• While Yang Zhen cultivated, the Dao Devil and Sword Devil found a nine-petaled lotus nexus but failed to approach it, and World-Destroying Heavenly Punishment appeared.
• Yang Zhen confronted the World-Destroying Heavenly Punishment, released the Star Spring Sword, and broke through to the Saint Venerable Realm.
