Yang Zhen survived the Heavenly Punishment, brought the Savage Wilderness World into his pagoda, and entered the Land of Five Desolations, where he helped Nine Dragons confront Devil Venerable Shuya. As the cursed land began to collapse, Yang Zhen used Earth Treasury Qi to try to revive heaven and earth.

• Yang Zhen endured the Heavenly Punishment, awakened with his power condensed into a tiny core, and discovered he could control the Savage Wilderness World and draw it into the Nine Realms Exquisite Pagoda.
• Yang Zhen reunited with Hua Youyue and Han Yan'er, then dispersed the Eight Gates Severance Formation and unleashed the Devil Qi sealed beyond it.
• Yang Zhen entered the Land of Five Desolations with his companions and found Nine Dragons fighting Devil Venerable Shuya over their ancient grudge.
• Yang Zhen and Nine Dragons battled Shuya, while Yang Zhen sent Shameless Cat and Flirtatious Chicken to search for what Shuya was guarding.

Yang Zhen restored the Land of Five Desolations, revived Empress Fengyu, and reunited with the Shangyuan Sect before learning that Holy Maiden Tianxuan was in danger at the Savage Wilderness Ancient Land. He set out with Han Yan'er and Great Saint Fengli, then joined Gan Bu and Que Ling's group while concealing their identities.

• Yang Zhen reshaped the Land of Five Desolations with Han Yan'er, then entered the Three Ghosts Heavenly Sound and gathered Empress Fengyu's scattered soul fragments to revive her.
• Empress Fengyu awakened, restored the Land of Five Desolations, and entrusted its origin pearl to Han Yan'er before Yang Zhen announced his plans to marry Hua Youyue.
• Yang Zhen and Han Yan'er reached White Cloud Mountain, where Yang Zhen defeated Great Saint Fengli after discovering he had besieged the Shangyuan Sect.
• Great Saint Fengli revealed that Holy Maiden Tianxuan was in danger at the Savage Wilderness Ancient Land, and Yang Zhen decided to go there while arranging for the Shangyuan Sect to move to the Three Flowers Holy Land.
• Yang Zhen and Han Yan'er traveled toward the ancient land with Great Saint Fengli, and Yang Zhen discovered a mysterious starry sky and a vanishing blue phoenix inside Han Yan'er.
• Yang Zhen and Han Yan'er met Gan Bu and Que Ling's group, joined their journey, and pretended to be siblings named Yang Tiezhu and Han Caihua.

Yang Zhen fought off cultivators and the Savage Wilderness’s demonic forces while protecting Han Yan'er and helping Holy Maiden Tianxuan revive. Tianxuan awakened and taught him how to seal the Demonic Gate, but Yang Zhen instead sought to refine the World-Destroying Heavenly Pouch.

• Yang Zhen reunited with Han Yan'er and Que Ling, then led them toward the Heavenly Secret Lock as the Savage Wilderness Ancient Land erupted into chaos.
• At the Heavenly Secret Lock, Yang Zhen stood between the cultivators and the ice coffin holding Holy Maiden Tianxuan, defeating Young Master Gong and Duan Deming as the crowd tried to seize the True Runes.
• Yang Zhen reached Han Yan'er at the ice coffin and battled the gathered cultivators while she and Que Ling prepared to guard the formation cores.
• The ice coffin shattered, and Yang Zhen realized the True Runes could draw life force from the Principles and demonic Qi to revive Tianxuan.
• Yang Zhen controlled the surging Principles and Devil Qi, then used formation discs to shield Tianxuan and the True Runes from a giant black hand belonging to a Savage Wilderness Devil Seed.
• Yang Zhen refused to reseal the Demonic Sect and used the Two Qi of Yin and Yang to refine the True Runes and demonic Qi into life force for Tianxuan.
• Tianxuan awakened, praised Yang Zhen, and taught him Desolate Seal Heaven Sealing, but Yang Zhen declined to seal the gate while the World-Destroying Heavenly Pouch remained and said he was about eighty percent confident he could refine it.

Yang Zhen extended the Old Man of Mountains and Rivers’ life, defeated the Devil Seed with the gathered cultivators, and returned to the Three Flowers Holy Land amid the Devil Cultivators’ invasion. He then traveled to Slug Bank Mountain to seek the Devil Emperor’s runes and headed for the Emperor’s Tomb while Chen Xiaotian fought the Su Emperor Palace.

• Holy Maiden Tianxuan taught Yang Zhen the Heaven-Refining Technique and Tianxuan Sword martial skill before departing.
• Yang Zhen used an Immortal Tree fruit and Desolate Heaven Sacrifice to rejuvenate the Old Man of Mountains and Rivers while Heavenly Punishment clashed with the Devil Seed.
• Yang Zhen and the gathered cultivators defeated the Devil Seed, and Yang Zhen cut out its World-Destroying Heavenly Pouch.
• Yang Zhen and Han Yan'er fought through Devil Cultivator camps and returned to the Three Flowers Holy Land, where Empress Fengyu had driven off an intruder.
• Yang Zhen welcomed the Shangyuan Sect procession and learned that Devil Venerable Shuya had released them after hearing his name.
