A High-Speed Escape and a Successful Rescue
Hua Ji nearly exploded with rage when she heard that.

After making this declaration, Ye Huo carried Snake Demon out of Qilin Hall.
Snake Demon looked at the girl's proud, aloof profile. Her nose prickled, and she suddenly felt the urge to cry.
In all her years, her boss was the first person who had cared about and respected her.
She was willing to follow her boss for the rest of her life.
When they were abroad, she had always thought her boss was cold-blooded and heartless.
She had never expected her boss to brave Qilin Hall alone to save her, without regard for her own safety.
Snake Demon was completely won over.

Ye Huo raised her wrist and glanced at her watch.
There were three minutes left on the countdown to her departure...
Carrying Snake Demon, she sped toward Qilin Hall's entrance, moving as fast as a blur.
"Quick! Someone's escaped! Catch her!"
The moment she stepped outside Qilin Pavilion's gates, she was ambushed...
It turned out that Hua Ji had known she couldn't beat Ye Huo and had pressed the alarm before being kicked unconscious!

The thugs all along the street opened fire, spraying bullets like mad.
Gunfire crackled as they unleashed everything they had.
Thousand Mechanisms sat in the back seat, his fingers still clattering away on his computer keyboard.
He was looking for the fastest escape route.
"Turn left up ahead, cross two overpasses, and go through three traffic lights to reach the tree-lined path in the park. That'll get us out of the surveillance cameras' sight!"
"Got it."
Blood Blade put his superb driving skills to use, his muscular arms suddenly spinning the steering wheel.
The black sports car tilted almost ninety degrees to the ground and slipped past the pursuing vehicles closing in from every side.
Blood Blade was the team's combat partner.
Then he shifted into a higher gear, slammed the accelerator to the floor, and shot into the second main road at flying speed.
He shook off one black car after another as they pursued him relentlessly.
What a joke!
Blood Blade had learned his driving skills directly from his boss, so dealing with these thugs was more than easy enough.
He sped away along the shortest escape route-
Ye Huo looked back at the dozens of cars falling farther and farther behind, her red lips curving into a breathtaking smile.
