Seeing the Hanged Man Alger's reaction, Wilt made no comment and quietly waited for them to conduct their transaction.
Meanwhile, he discreetly turned his gaze to the surrounding Gray Fog and thought, Klein isn't a true god, but Sefirah Castle is on a high level...
Given Klein's personality, if he's confident he can do it, he'll almost certainly agree. Then I'll be able to make charms for the Cowardly Trio Pathways.
Especially the Door Pathway. It has the ability of Door Opening at Sequence 9, and the Beyonder materials it requires aren't too expensive. Once I make a Door Opening charm, it'll be an excellent tool for escaping in a fight.
Wilt decided to ask Klein about it in a while.
Just then, he heard Audrey ask him, "Mr. The Lovers, do you know where I can find a member of the Psychology Alchemists?"
Audrey and Alger had already completed their transaction, but she wasn't entirely satisfied with the Hanged Man's answer, so she asked Wilt as well.
From their brief conversation just now, Audrey had realized that the newly joined Mr. The Lovers was very familiar with the Beyonder world. He was quite likely to have the answer she wanted.
Then Audrey heard Wilt say, "Miss Justice, I suggest you focus on digesting your Potion for now instead of looking for the Psychology Alchemists."
"In fact, many nobles in Backlund are members of the Psychology Alchemists. If you approach them too early, they'll only read your mind. At Sequence 9, you're very likely to expose your secrets."
"So you might as well wait until Sequence 7 to join the Psychology Alchemists. At the very least, you'll have some basic ability to protect yourself by then."
A surprised expression appeared on Audrey's face. "Many nobles are members of the Psychology Alchemists!"
The people she had met at banquets began to come to mind, but she had no idea whom to suspect.
"How is that possible? Why haven't I heard about it before?"
"That's perfectly normal." Wilt smiled before explaining, "The Psychology Alchemists like to recruit members from the upper class. It's their tradition."
"Miss Justice, you should focus on digesting your Potion. Once you've advanced your Sequence, you only need to show a little interest in the Psychology Alchemists in front of others, and someone will come to you of their own accord."
Hearing this, Audrey couldn't help giving a wry smile. "You have a point, Mr. The Lovers, but I can't advance without the subsequent Potion formulas. Even if I want to advance my Sequence, there's nothing I can do."
Wilt nodded in agreement. "That's true."
"If you want the Sequence 8 and Sequence 7 Potion formulas for the Spectator Pathway, I happen to have them."
"Really?" Audrey was overjoyed. She hadn't expected the thing she had been desperately seeking to appear before her in this way.
"Mr. The Lovers, I want them!"
"How many pounds do you think would be suitable for the Sequence 8 Potion formula? Hmm... how about 700 pounds?"
Wilt shook his head. "There are some Beyonder materials I need to collect. If you have them, or can buy them for me, we can count that against the cost of the Potion formula."
With that, Wilt conjured two sheets of paper. The first contained the Telepathist Potion formula, while the second listed the Beyonder materials he needed, including the main and supplementary ingredients for Robot, Sequence 8 of the Monster Pathway, as well as a large quantity of materials for making charms.
Klein was somewhat speechless as he watched Wilt use the Gray Fog so skillfully.
It's only your first... no, your second time here, all right? Do you have to be so practiced at it? Who exactly is the master of this place, you or me?
Though he wanted to complain, Klein still chose to play it safe and sent what Wilt had written to Justice Audrey. He also took the opportunity to sneak a look.
Sequence 8, Telepathist. Main ingredient: the complete pituitary gland of an adult seven-colored chameleon dragon...
Great, another Potion formula for free!
Then Klein turned his gaze to the other sheet.
Klein: !!!
Klein blinked, wondering if he had misread it because he had exhausted too much Spirituality. Two seconds later, he looked at the sheet again.
It was densely covered with all kinds of materials, no fewer than a hundred.
Klein: "..."
Meanwhile, Audrey's lips also parted slightly when she saw what was on the paper, her face full of astonishment.
"This..."
Why does Mr. The Lovers want to collect so many Beyonder materials?
Wilt took the initiative to explain. "The first two Beyonder materials are the main ingredients for a Sequence 8 Potion. We can use them to cover the cost of the Telepathist Potion formula."
"As for the rest, just do your best. Collect as many as you can, and I'll pay you the market price for all of them."
Wilt then conjured another sheet with the same contents, erased the information about the main ingredients, and handed it to Alger beside him.
"Mr. Hanged Man, you can take a look too. If you can collect any of them, I'll pay you as well."
Alger agreed. After all, no one would turn down money. "I'll do my best."
Only after finishing what he had set out to do did Wilt look up at Klein. He rose and bowed, then asked, "Mr. Fool, I plan to make some charms. Might I pray to you and receive your help?"
No!
Go find someone else!
Klein instinctively wanted to refuse, but fortunately stopped himself at the last moment. Instead, he said in an ambiguous tone:
"You can give it a try, but I can't guarantee that it will succeed."
If it succeeds, it'll be because Mr. Fool is powerful. If it doesn't, it'll be because I haven't broken free of the seal yet, so my power is limited.
Perfect! That's how I'll handle it!
"Thank you for your help!" A delighted expression appeared on Wilt's face. He decided to try it as soon as the Tarot Club meeting ended.
"What sort of payment should I offer you?"
"Emperor Roselle's Diary..." Klein's calm voice rang out. "Or information about the Western Continent!"
The Western Continent!
Justice Audrey and the Hanged Man Alger were unfamiliar with the name.
Where is the Western Continent? Why haven't I heard of it?
Audrey didn't dare look at the Fool, so she could only turn her gaze to Wilt. But seeing that he had no intention of saying anything further, she felt both an itch and curiosity.
Compared to Audrey, the Hanged Man gave it more thought. The Western Continent... could it be the legendary Forsaken Land of the Gods?
This new member's identity is becoming more and more mysterious. Mr. Fool really isn't just pulling people in at random. Everyone who joins the Tarot Club has something unique about them.
It looks like I should build a good relationship with him from now on. I'd better put some effort into collecting those Beyonder materials.
Just then, Alger heard Wilt ask him, "Mr. Hanged Man, do you have a way to sell jewelry?"
"Yes!" Alger hurriedly nodded and instinctively asked, "Is it from a legitimate source?"
"No. I just stole it last night."
Alger: "..."
