The Strange Author Reminds Everyone That Going to Bed and Getting Up Early Is Good for Your Health
Holidays always liked to zip away on their own.
It felt like the holiday had only just started, so why was school about to begin again?
On the last day of the holiday, Ron and Harry were playing Wizard's Chess at a table in the Great Hall. After revising for so long, Ron felt as though his brain was about to break, so he decided to play a game of Wizard's Chess to relax.
Harry was still a little worried. "Ron, have you finished all your revision?" As he spoke, he moved a piece forward one square. Right now, revision was the last thing Ron wanted to hear about. "Give me a break, Harry! I don't think those... should be very difficult, right? Besides, there are still over two months left!"
"I guess you've got a point." Harry nodded, and Ron soon won another game of Wizard's Chess. "I don't think I'm very well suited to this game." Harry sighed to himself. Ron looked rather pleased. "It's all right, Harry! Keep practicing and you'll be as good as me!"
"You're right." Harry picked up the phone beside him and started scrolling.
[Admin] Malfoy's Official Wife: I'm so tired I could die...
[Admin] Malfoy's Official Wife: I have to prepare for finals and the school's compulsory practical activities.
Bug Ming: Thanks for all your hard work. Just revising is exhausting enough qwq
What's Wrong with Eating More?: Couldn't agree more, and the professors keep piling on more and more homework!
Ron indignantly typed out his complaints to the fans in the group, every word making it clear how exhausting he found studying.
What's Wrong with Eating More?: We only got three days off! I spent almost all three doing homework!
Oh My Mother: An exhausted student who also spent a fulfilling three-day holiday has appeared.
Oh My Mother: I finally finished the essay my teacher assigned, boohoo...
Outstanding Graduate of Azkaban: Same world, same teachers.
There Are Thousands of Boyfriends Today, and Half of Them Are at Hogwarts: Our teacher is really strict too, and takes pleasure in deducting our credits... Seriously, thanks a lot.
Cedric: Why does that sound unexpectedly familiar?
Harry really wanted to say that they had a professor like that too, but the thought of Snape being in the big group chat stopped him... Ron really felt for them. Even in different worlds, they had the same kind of teacher!
A Little Crab: This professor you're talking about... is his surname Snape? (doge)
Bug Ming: (doge) I'm in a good mood today~
Professor Snape Is Mine: Mr. Potter stepped into the classroom with his left foot first this morning, so five points from Gryffindor /doge
Draco's Beloved: Professor Snape's point-deduction jokes never get old (laughing to death)
Mrs. Christo Potter: Poor Harry, I suggest you come cry your eyes out in my arms (holding a rose in my teeth) (ow, the thorns are prickling my mouth)
Harry's Runaway Waist: Your abacus beads are flying into my face (mirrored funny face.jpg)
Snape's Underpants Head: If Harry were Harriet, I think HP could have ended early, hahaha-
Stepmother Literature: www, that reminds me of that serialized video about what if Harry were a girl.
Dark Lord Reserve: I'm dying, Professor Snape would be like, Miss Harriet breathed normally today, ten points to Gryffindor.
My Younger Brother Isn't as Handsome as Me: ? Whoa, seriously?
Cherry Blossom Rain and Falling Leaves: Gryffindor would really become Plenty-of-points-dor hahahahahaha
Let's Overthrow the Statute of Secrecy Together: Even Dumbledore would have to tell Snape to award fewer points.
James-Brand Shampoo: Original Harry: Is this actually real?
Red-Lipped, White-Toothed The Chosen One: Help, that's so funny.
If he were a girl? Snape would award Gryffindor points?? Harry fell silent in front of his screen. Even Professor Dumbledore would have to tell him to award fewer?
That could only happen in a dream...
Harry felt a little wistful, but he was a boy through and through. Still, he thought that even if he became a girl, the real Snape couldn't possibly award that many points.
(No, no, no, Harry, you're being shortsighted.)
"..." Ron seemed to be seriously picturing Harry as a girl, and then he shuddered uncontrollably. If Harry were a girl... wouldn't he get along well with Hermione? Then wouldn't the two of them be supervising his studies together?!!
Harry was baffled by the frightened look on Ron's face as he sank into his own imagination. "What's wrong, Ron?"
"Harry, you must never turn into a girl!" Ron said, shaking Harry by the shoulders. Hermione, who had just entered the Great Hall, happened to hear him. Looking puzzled and a little speechless, she walked over and said:
"Are you all right? How could Harry turn into a girl for no reason?"
Harry himself was seeing stars from all the shaking. "Ron, calm down... They were only... saying what if!"
Hermione had more or less guessed what had happened. She shook her head and sat down. "It's already the last day, so I have to ask: have you finished all your homework? And you're still here playing Wizard's Chess and reading group messages?"
Homework...
Something countless students hated with all their hearts. The lessons were interesting, and the new knowledge was amazing, but how did homework manage to make the examples explained in class and the questions assigned afterward worlds apart in difficulty?!
"Oh no, Harry! I almost forgot about the homework Lockhart assigned!" Ron sprang to his feet, quickly packed up his chessboard, and dragged Harry toward the common room. Harry also remembered that because the assignment was so pointless, he had forgotten to do it too!
"Bye, Hermione! See you in the common room!" Harry called back from a distance before he and Ron raced away.
Hermione slapped her forehead, utterly speechless. "Boys..."
"What if Harry were a girl? Is there anything these people won't imagine?"
Malfoy couldn't help frowning as he watched them move on to a new topic. "So what if that Potter were a girl?" Could he somehow make their Gryffindor soar?
Meanwhile, in the big group chat.
Half a Waste: Hahahahaha, I've seen that video too!!! It's really funny!!!
Professor Snape's No. 2009 Silver Cauldron: If Harry were a girl, wouldn't Professor Snape be overjoyed?
If My Name Is Long Enough Someone Will Read It: Think bigger. Professor Snape would grab his wand and go challenge Voldemort one-on-one (doge)
Draco's Hairline: If Harry were a girl and our young master still dared to oppose Harry...
Kerun: Holy crap, one of the eight wonders of the world! Snape deducted points from Slytherin!
Zabini: Is it really that exaggerated?
Blaise stared at the screen in disbelief. How could the head of his house change his attitude toward Gryffindor just because the Chosen One had changed sex?
Magpie: www, Harry is a boy, so he looks like his dad. By the same logic, if Harry were a girl, he'd look like his mum ✓
Bug Ming: Applause! That makes perfect sense!
One day, all of Hogwarts will know that Snape had a crush on Harry's mum...
So thought Fred, sprawled in the dormitory and hanging upside down over the edge of his bed as he read the chat. Tsk, tsk, poor Professor Snape actually had this little-known past. Fred grinned wickedly as he sent messages agreeing with them.
I was wondering why he had such a problem with Gryffindor. Turns out it was Harry's dad's fault. Speaking of which... wasn't that Marauder's Map made by Harry's dad and those uncles of his?
Fred remembered the magical map he and George had found in Filch's office during their first year.
He had wondered then who Prongs and Padfoot were. Now, after seeing some of the records, he knew. Well, well, they were their predecessors~
George sat in the dormitory chair, leaning back in a very unrestrained pose. "What if Harry were a girl?? These fans really know how to have fun, hahahaha!" Then he looked at Fred, who was hanging over the edge of the bed. "Fred, I have a bold idea."
Hearing that his good brother had another bold idea, Fred jolted, rolled off the bed, then quickly scrambled up and asked excitedly, "What idea?" The whole sequence was so smooth that it clearly wasn't his first fall.
In the common room, Harry was racking his brains for ways to get through Lockhart's homework with the least effort when he suddenly shivered and sneezed to one side.
Ron, who was asking people in the fan group for creative ways to praise a narcissistic teacher's assignment, looked up. "? Harry, have you caught a cold?" He glanced in puzzlement at the fire beside them. "The fire's pretty warm."
And it was spring now, too.
"I'm fine, it's just... I feel like someone's planning something against me." Harry rubbed his arms, picked up his quill again, dipped it in ink, and turned to a fresh page of parchment.
[Admin] Yan: A narcissistic teacher? That made me think of a certain Obliviate.
[Admin] Yan: Ah... I've studied all day. I'm exhausted. I want to ruffle little angel Ron's hair (humble)
Bug Ming: What kind of homework could a narcissistic teacher like that even assign?
Hufflepuff's Rabbit: Hmm... I doubt it requires much skill?
GGAD's Son: My advice is to just flatter him a bunch and be done with it!
Ximen Yingling: How did a teacher like that get hired in the first place?
What's Wrong with Eating More?: Actually, I've been wondering about that for a long time.
Come to Me to Stop Being Single: Thanks for the hard work, brother. But looking at it that way, at least one of your final exam subjects might be easy.
Wants to Make Friends: I hope so...
And so the holiday ended. Congratulations to Harry and Ron: fortunately, they finished their homework in time and avoided detention or anything like that. But what followed was an even more intense period of studying.
Although Voldemort had escaped earlier, just in case, Dumbledore still had Snape keep a close eye on the third-floor corridor, in case Voldemort possessed someone else and launched a surprise attack.
Hagrid said he had every confidence in Fluffy: apart from music being able to quiet him, no one should be able to get through. Snape and Dumbledore chose to remain silent on the matter.
And as for Hagrid's dragon, no matter what, the dragon would keep growing, and one day it would be impossible to keep it hidden. Keeping it at Hogwarts was also rather dangerous, so they ultimately decided to have Ron's eldest brother Charlie come and quietly take the baby dragon away one night.
Hagrid was heartbroken. He gave Harry some Rock Cakes he had made himself and asked them to pass them on to Charlie, so Norbert could eat them if he got hungry on the journey.
Honestly.
The moment Charlie took them, he wondered if cement had been mixed into them during the making.
Later, they sent word that Norbert was actually a female dragon and had been renamed Norberta. Hagrid was upset for several more days, and Ron didn't even know how to comfort him.
A Brick of Hogwarts: Whoa, they sent a pet away just because the school didn't allow it, and then even changed its name? That's so sad.
Wants to Make Friends: So, I wanted to ask if there's any way to make a friend less sad.
Harry sincerely wanted Hagrid to feel less sad, and Hermione was also trying to think of a way.
But Ron always felt that a word like "pet" was a little odd. Then he remembered that the person in question was Hagrid, and suddenly it made a lot more sense. After all, even Fluffy was a cute little dog in Hagrid's eyes, just with two extra heads.
Xiaoduomai External Application: You could try... making a model of the pet for your friend?
Wants to Make Friends: Shall we give it a try?
To be honest, Harry felt a little guilty when he typed the word "pet." Then he and Ron told Hermione about the suggestion, and after some thought, Hermione agreed it was a good idea.
So, as the three of them continued revising, they also found time to make a model based on the photos they had taken of the baby dragon.
And Hermione was seriously amazing. Even with all that, she still found time to revise everything.
Hagrid was so moved when he received the model that he could barely speak. To thank them, he baked some new Rock Cakes for the three of them. Harry, not daring to refuse, could only accept them and see if there might be a use for the special biscuits someday (actually, they should work quite well for cracking walnuts).
Then Hermione dragged Harry and Ron away, saying that because they hadn't revised very seriously over the past few days for Hagrid's sake, she was going to help them catch up.
Harry felt a terrible stomachache at this.
Ron was even grumbling inwardly, We're only first-years!!
And so the gears of life gradually turned toward final exams.
Quite a few students were struggling to prepare for the exams, repeatedly practicing spells they might need.
Hermione had revised thoroughly, yet she still looked nervous, as though facing a formidable enemy. She muttered History of Magic and Herbology facts under her breath while keeping her hands busy practicing the gestures for some of the harder spells.
Seeing her like that, Harry felt even more nervous about his first magical final exam.
So he chose to open his phone and check on his group friends to take his mind off it.
Newt-Brand Runaway Niffler: Help, what kind of devilry is math? Who has math as their first final exam subject...
Newt-Brand Runaway Niffler: (ascends peacefully to heaven) I'm going to see Senior Newt.
Mrs. Riddle: Who on earth invented physics? (throws myself into Riddle's arms and cries)
Bug Ming: Luckily, my major doesn't require math...
Ordinary Naming Failure: Same world, same worries.
[Admin] Holy Crap: Hehe, they announced our final exams have been postponed, ahahahaha!
Magpie: I'm dying, I nearly wrote my hand off during the Chinese exam today.
Mrs. Malfoy Number Two: Our exam was online. The teacher said we'd have two and a half hours, but when we got in there were only two hours!! And we had to write an essay!!!
Mrs. Malfoy Number Two: (I'm trying to cry very quietly.jpg) I finished the eight-hundred-character essay in the very last minute! My CPU practically burned out!
Seeing that everyone was under the same pressure, Harry suddenly felt much better, and it seemed he wasn't quite so nervous anymore.
Ahem, in short, that was how the final exams began.
