[Dear readers, if you like this book, please add it to your bookshelf.]
[Dragon Ball isn't very popular in China anymore, so please try not to let chapters pile up before reading. It's easy for a book to die that way. If you really want to save up more chapters, please at least hit the "request updates" button on the latest chapter, and add the book to your bookshelf even if you're saving it for later (づ ̄3 ̄)づ╭❤~]
[Your requests for updates are what motivate the author!]
[If I didn't love Dragon Ball, I wouldn't be writing fanfiction about it. I enjoy discussing Dragon Ball with fellow fans, and I welcome your feedback!]
[As long as you love Dragon Ball too, we're good friends!]
[Note: this book will develop a strange bond with Frieza (not gay). If that bothers you, don't read by mistake!!]
[As for Frieza not accepting subordinates who pose a threat to him, in Broly, Frieza wanted to find a comrade on his own level to fight Goku and Vegeta, so all I can say is that this isn't absolute. There's definitely room to work with Frieza's character; it just depends on what you're willing to accept. Of course, this is a gradual process of change under the protagonist's influence. If you think that's seriously out of character, this book isn't for you.]
[Also, if you can't accept Frieza slowly becoming better-well, not better, just less evil-there's no need to keep reading.]
[From around chapter 142 to chapter 170, the story shows how the original Z Fighters grow and change, and lays some groundwork for the development of the various forces. The protagonist will temporarily fade from view. A lot of readers want to see the protagonist and care a great deal about this stretch, but it's a necessary stage of the story, so I'm saying it here at the beginning. If it bothers you, you can skip those chapters.]
[This book has only one female lead! Big sister Bulma! The other women will either have their canon partners or stay single! I won't pair people up at random! Let me emphasize again: this book has only one female lead! If you don't like it, don't keep reading! Just leave quietly! Anyone who gives a bad review over the women will be considered an idiot!]
[Early on, the protagonist is Frieza's subordinate, and a subordinate should at least act a little like one. If you can't stand even a little bowing and scraping, please leave quietly too. You only get to act tough once you have the strength for it. If you prefer someone who acts outrageously arrogant before he has the ability and struts around in front of powerful figures, there's no need to keep reading!]
[Praise the readers!]
[I won't confiscate your brains. I hope everyone will be enthusiastic, comment more, and join in, so Dragon Ball discussions won't be so quiet.]
[The above words come from the bottom of my heart. They're not just padding the word count!]
In the depths of space, the spaceship Turles rode was called the Destroyer.
That was right. Its name was just that domineering!
The band of space pirates led by Turles had an equally domineering name.
They were called the Destroyer Army!
Before this, neither Turles nor the other members of the army had felt there was anything wrong with it. They had even been proud of it!
But things were different now. Turles was extremely wary of the name.
The reason was simple: Turles was a transmigrator from an Earth in another world who had taken over someone else's body!
The words "Destroyers" and "God of Destruction" differed by only one character!
And who was the God of Destruction?
Not only was he the undisputed authority in Universe 7, but he was also a terrifying, unpredictable being who readily committed devilish acts in the name of a god.
Were they tired of living, swaggering around the universe under a name like the Destroyer Army?
Still, Turles couldn't be blamed for it.
Two years ago.
Slug, a tyrant of the universe, had sent his men to search for a miraculous fruit, the Tree of Might!
And its seeds.
Turles's squad had been among those sent.
And as luck would have it, Turles had actually followed Slug's clues and found a genuine Tree of Might in ancient ruins on a desolate planet!
As the fruit allowed Turles to experience unprecedented power, his ambition had swollen endlessly.
He had begun to think about breaking away from the Slug Army and striking out on his own.
And so Turles had renamed his squad the Destroyer Army.
He intended to use the Tree of Might to turn his Destruction Army into the most powerful army in the universe someday!
The only catch was that the Tree of Might could bear fruit only when its seeds were planted on a planet teeming with life.
It would use the life of an entire planet as nourishment, draining it dry!
All to produce the intoxicating Tree of Might.
Afterward, the planet would become a complete "dead planet"!
That was what Turles and his companions had been doing over the past year!
But it had to be said that planets capable of harboring life made up only a small fraction of the universe's planets, and among those few, even fewer could support the growth of the Tree of Might.
In those two years, Turles and his army members had found only two planets that met the requirements.
Those two occasions alone had already gone to their heads.
Turles's power level had risen from a little over 2,000 to over 30,000 after he ate four Trees of Might!
In the original Turles's view, a power level of 10,000 already made someone an impossibly powerful expert!
A power level of 30,000 had been beyond his wildest dreams before!
Even if he couldn't match Slug, he couldn't be far behind!
He could almost see the moment he conquered the universe!
Turles really couldn't be blamed for thinking that way.
Originally, he had been nothing more than a Low-Class Saiyan Warrior from Planet Vegeta.
He had been sent to a low-level planet as a child, and before he could complete his mission of conquering it and return to Planet Vegeta, his spaceship had lost contact with headquarters due to a malfunction.
Although that had allowed him to escape Frieza's purge by sheer luck, living for so long on a backward planet cut off from the universe made it even less likely that he would have any real understanding of its true powerhouses.
But now everything was different!
The present Turles was an entirely new Turles, a transmigrator.
He had a clear understanding of his current situation.
Trying to break away from the Slug Army and strike out on his own by relying on the Tree of Might Fruit was nothing but a pipe dream.
The gap between them was far too great to be bridged by a fruit he couldn't even get twice a year!
That could work only if Slug kept leaving them alone.
In reality, no matter how slow Slug was, two years had passed. He had long since learned that the original Turles had betrayed him, and about the Tree of Might as well!
Even so, the original Turles hadn't felt the slightest urgency.
That was the blind confidence born of ignorance!
If Slug's fleet really caught up with them, they would be in for a world of pain!
At that thought, Turles couldn't help raising a hand to his forehead, looking troubled.
He had been faced with such a difficult problem the moment he transmigrated.
"Lord Turles."
As Turles was thinking,
a call of "Lord" interrupted his thoughts.
Turles raised his head and got a clear look at the newcomer.
He was a short alien.
After briefly searching his memories, Turles learned who he was.
His name was Reiz, and he and Lakasei, another similarly built man at the ship's controls, were twin brothers.
The brothers were high-tech experts under Turles.
They were highly intelligent and among the first army members to follow Turles. His switch from an individual space pod to his current enormous spaceship had also been the work of the brothers, Reiz and Lakasei.
"What is it?" Turles looked at Reiz.
"Lord Turles, we're about to enter the North Galaxy. We still haven't detected a planet that meets the requirements."
"Should we continue forward?"
"The North Galaxy?" Turles's heart instantly skipped a beat.
In the world of Dragon Ball, the universe was divided into the East, West, South, and North Galaxies. Here, "galaxy" didn't mean the "Galaxy" in "Milky Way Galaxy."
Rather, it referred to the universe.
And Earth, where the protagonists of Dragon Ball, including Son Goku and Bulma, lived, was located in the North Galaxy.
As everyone knew, Earth in works of fiction was generally an "accident hotspot"!
With all sorts of people and creatures mixed together, it really wasn't a good place!
Villains who went there could be said never to return!
Unfortunately, fiction had now become reality.
And Turles was one of those "villains"!
That was why Turles had reacted that way when Reiz mentioned the North Galaxy.
Their journey had begun in the West Galaxy, and now they were about to enter the North Galaxy.
Turles didn't immediately answer his subordinate's question.
Instead, he sank into thought once more.
Seeing that something seemed off with Turles, the rest of his subordinates looked over as well.
There was Amond, whose skin had a reddish tint and whose hair was tied in a single braid.
Daiz, with short light-blue hair and a cold face.
And Cacao, whose metallic body was bright red and silver-white.
Then there were the brothers, Reiz and Lakasei.
This was the first time they had seen their boss wear such a troubled expression.
"How many Trees of Might do we have left?" Turles suddenly asked.
His subordinates were stunned for a moment, then Amond promptly answered, "Lord Turles, there's one left!"
"Once we enter the North Galaxy, head straight for the Frieza Force's territory!"
The brothers Reiz and Lakasei turned around at his words.
"My lord, do you mean Frieza, that emperor of the universe?"
Turles didn't turn his head, his gaze still fixed on the starry expanse beyond the spaceship.
