Goku waited anxiously outside the room. His child was about to be born, and this was his first time becoming a father.

He believed no one could have stayed calm at a time like this. He was nervous about the baby, but even more worried about Bulma's safety.

Bulma hadn't stayed in a hospital during her pregnancy. Instead, they had hired the best medical team to come to their home. Given their family's finances, that was only natural.

"Mr. Son Goku, you can come in now. It's a boy, and both mother and child are safe. We'll be leaving now, but you can call us again if you need anything." A group of female doctors wearing masks came out through the sliding door.

After a long wait, Goku finally heard the words he had been hoping for.

"All right, thank you. I'll contact you again if anything comes up, okay?" Goku nodded to the doctors and walked into the room.

As soon as he entered, Goku went to Bulma's bedside and looked at her with concern.

"Bulma, are you okay?"

Bulma was a little pale, but she had been training with Goku all along, so she was in much better physical condition than an ordinary person.

"Mm, I'm fine. Go take a look at our son. He really looks a lot like you." Bulma smiled with relief.

"Mm, okay!"

Only after seeing that Bulma was all right did Goku turn his attention to the boy in the little bed beside her.

The little boy had a tail growing from behind his bottom, and his face looked a lot like Goku's, though his hair was different. On closer inspection, it had a faint blue tint, but overall it looked black.

Looks like my genes are stronger than Vegeta's! Goku thought shamelessly.

Goku picked up the little boy and brought him to Bulma's bedside.

"Goku, what do you want to name our son?" Bulma asked, looking at the child in his arms.

Goku thought it over. There was no need to change it after all, so he would give him that name.

"Let's call him Son Gohan, in memory of my grandpa."

Bulma and Goku had actually met Son Gohan several times. The first time was after the 21st World Martial Arts Tournament, when Goku had taken Bulma to find Fortuneteller Baba and then met Son Gohan.

"Son Gohan? That's a good name. Should we go see your grandpa and tell him about this?" Bulma asked Goku.

"Mm, let's go see him once you've fully recovered," Goku said with a nod.

Perhaps because he was a Half-Saiyan, Kid Son Gohan was lively from the moment he was born and gave Goku's cheek a hard pinch.

"You little rascal, pinching your dad's face at your age. What are you going to be like when you grow up?" Goku joked, giving Kid Gohan a gentle pat on the bottom.

"Hee-hee!" Bulma watched the father and son from the side and laughed softly.

Kid Gohan quieted down and stared at Goku for a moment, then burst into loud cries.

Two years later.

Goku emerged from meditation. A god's cultivation method was much like meditation, only with a few extra things.

Goku opened his eyes and glanced at his panel.

Son Goku Race: Saiyan Power Level: 91 million Dimension: King Kai Transformation: Super Saiyan 1 Full Power

That was right. Goku's base Power Level had now reached 91 million, even though he hadn't focused much on raising it over the past two years, concentrating instead on cultivating his dimension.

Of course, cultivating his dimension had raised its level, which had also given his Power Level a small boost.

If nothing unexpected happened, his base Power Level would break 100 million next year. No, it definitely would!

"Daddy!"

Just then, Kid Gohan came running over on his short little legs, wrapped his arms around Goku, and flung himself straight into his embrace.

"Gohan, what brings you here? Where's Mommy?" Goku asked, smoothing Gohan's hair.

"Mommy's busy. She told me to come play with you!"

Gohan's words reminded Goku that he had asked Bulma to make a few more gravity bracelets a few days ago. She really had been quite busy these past few days.

Goku intended to give the gravity bracelets to Krillin and the others, so their Power Levels could grow much faster too.

"Then what do you want to play, Gohan?" Goku decided to spend more time looking after Gohan over the next few days, so Bulma wouldn't have to worry about him.

"I want to go to the amusement park!"

"Okay, Daddy will take you. We'll fly there, all right?"

"Okay! Daddy's the best!"

When Kid Gohan heard that his dad was taking him to the amusement park, he could no longer contain his delight and happily planted a kiss on Goku's cheek.

Goku looked at the adorable Kid Gohan in his arms and smiled from the bottom of his heart.

This kind of life is wonderful!

That evening, Goku and Kid Gohan had just returned home when they saw Bulma coming out to meet them.

Not long ago, she had finally finished all the gravity bracelets.

"Goku, why haven't you been keeping your hair gold these past few days?"

Bulma found it a little strange that Goku had gone back to black hair. For the previous year, he had kept his hair gold the whole time.

Bulma liked the gold hair not only because it made him more handsome, but also because he was exceptionally fierce in that respect. Thinking of it brought a faint blush to her cheeks.

Bulma liked the Super Saiyan form, but Son Goku wasn't keen on maintaining it all the time. Meditation was far less efficient in that form. Even at Full Power, his mind couldn't be as calm as it was in his normal state.

Moreover, during the year he spent training Full Power, their nighttime activities had become noticeably more frequent. He wasn't the one initiating it-Bulma was! When she teased him, didn't he just... ahem.

"Haha, that's one of my forms. I've finished training it, so I don't need to maintain it anymore. Besides, keeping it up all the time has some bad effects on me." Goku wasn't lying. Staying at Full Power all the time wasn't good for his meditation.

"Is that so? That's really a shame," Bulma said regretfully.

When Bulma said, "Is that so?" Goku's heart skipped a beat, but fortunately, her next words put him at ease.

Bulma walked over, crouched down, and picked up Kid Gohan. Smiling, she asked him a question.

"Gohan, did you have fun this afternoon?"

"Mm! I did! It's too bad Mommy didn't come."

Kid Gohan poked his thumbs together, looking a little aggrieved.

"All right, next time Daddy and Mommy will both go with you." Bulma pinched Kid Gohan's chubby cheeks.

"Really?" Kid Gohan's eyes seemed to light up with little stars.

"Really!"

"Yay! That's great!"

Just then, Krillin's voice came from outside.

"Goku, we're here to see you."

Goku and Bulma went out through the front door into the courtyard, where they saw Krillin and four others.

"Uncle Krillin, Uncle Yamcha, Uncle Tien Shinhan, Uncle Chiaotzu, Uncle Aku!" Gohan, in Bulma's arms, politely greeted each of them in turn.

"Hey, Kid Gohan! Haven't seen you for a few months, and you've grown again, haven't you?" Aku greeted him from the side.

All of them had met Kid Gohan before. After all, they hadn't spent all three years at the Lookout.

"What brings you here?" Goku looked at them, puzzled.

"Haha, our three years of training at the Lookout are up, aren't they? So we came to see you together," Yamcha answered.

"Oh, right. Come to think of it, it really has been three years."

Goku nodded.

"Huh? Where's Chi-Chi?"

Bulma noticed that Chi-Chi hadn't come with them and looked at Krillin in puzzlement.

For certain reasons, Bulma paid close attention to Chi-Chi, even after marrying Goku. After all, a man's self-control could never be trusted too much.

"Her? She stayed at the Lookout."

Krillin's words left both Goku and Bulma dumbfounded.

"What? She stayed at the Lookout?" Goku didn't quite understand.

Seeing their bewildered expressions, Krillin spoke with a serious look.

"Yeah, she became a Kami Candidate."

Hearing Krillin say that, Goku finally felt the tension in his heart ease, though he didn't know why.

She became a Kami Candidate? That's good. Perhaps this is a good ending for her.

"I see. Since you're all here, why rush off? How about a barbecue party tonight?" Goku suggested once his thoughts returned to the present.

"Sure." No one had any objections.

(Just one chapter today. Once the recommendation starts, I'll need to post two chapters a day, and I'll need to do that next month too for the full-attendance bonus. I have to write more while I can. I've also got midterms next month, and I still have classes every day. Sigh (╥ω╥`), I hope you understand.)

(The one born a Super Saiyan 3 will appear in the next chapter, and the famous "Power Level of five, trash" scene is coming too.)
