"No, I won't leave. I have too many memories and attachments on this planet." Goku shook his head and turned Raditz down.
"Memories and attachments? You mean...?" Raditz seemed to understand.
Goku nodded.
"Kakarot, you're a Saiyan. How can you let feelings hold you back, especially for someone from a low-level planet like this one?" Raditz looked at Kakarot in shock.
Most Saiyans placed little importance on feelings or family ties. His father had been one of the few exceptions, so although he was somewhat surprised, he still believed him.
Goku frowned and looked at Raditz, his eyes turning a little cold. Raditz's words had been full of contempt for Bulma.
"S-sorry. I shouldn't have spoken about your wife like that." Raditz naturally sensed it and hurriedly apologized.
"Hmph. Raditz, I'd advise you to stay on Earth. There's no need to go back and take part in slaughtering planets again. Otherwise, when you die, your soul will surely go to hell!"
Since Raditz was his older brother, Goku kindly warned him.
Raditz was astonished to hear Goku say that.
"Kakarot, what do you mean, slaughtering planets? We stopped doing that over ten years ago! Now, after we kill or capture the strongest fighters who resist, we leave the rest to the other members of the Frieza Force."
Raditz knew he wasn't a good person, but he wasn't as bad as Kakarot made him out to be, was he?
Couldn't he stop pinning every crime on the three of them?
They didn't? Goku was stunned. What the hell was going on? Had he remembered it wrong?
Goku realized there was a much greater chance of redeeming his brother. No, not just Raditz, but Vegeta and Nappa too.
"All right, I'm sorry. It seems I misunderstood you. Come join the party with me, and don't think about going back. Stay on Earth."
Goku didn't disregard Raditz's feelings just because he was stronger, and he apologized to him.
"But, well, Vegeta..."
"They'll come. Trust me."
Goku looked up at the sky, as if he could see the round spaceships traveling through space.
"I know you're afraid of Frieza, so let me tell you: my Power Level has already surpassed his!" Goku looked calmly at Raditz.
"What?! You've surpassed Frieza?! Your Power Level is over 530,000?!" Raditz stared at Goku in shock.
Goku nodded, then shook his head. Just as Raditz was wondering what he meant, he explained.
"I have surpassed Frieza, but his final Power Level is 120 million, not 530,000."
Two years had passed, and Goku's Power Level in his normal state had reached 200 million. That already surpassed Frieza's final form, let alone the fact that he had mastered Super Saiyan 2, which could send his final Power Level soaring to 20 billion.
"What?! 120 million?! Could you be the Legendary Super Saiyan? Hey, that's great!" Raditz looked at Goku excitedly.
How could Raditz not be excited? Of the three of them, he had the lowest status, and he was often the one who did the dirty, exhausting work.
Now his little brother Kakarot had become a Super Saiyan, which made him the older brother of a Super Saiyan, didn't it?
From now on, wouldn't Vegeta and Nappa have to humble themselves before him whenever they met?
And he would never have to fear Frieza again. He could even take revenge on him. After all, the three of them had discussed the true cause of Planet Vegeta's destruction before.
After discussing it, the three had reached a final conclusion-Frieza had destroyed it.
At last, he could avenge his people, his father, and his mother!
Saiyans weren't devoid of family ties or feelings; they simply didn't place much importance on them.
Right now, Raditz was the spitting image of Fan Jin after he passed the provincial examination.
"Yes!" Goku said with a smile, looking at the excited Raditz.
"All right, calm down and come to the party with me. I'll introduce you to some of my friends. From now on, you can live on Earth."
Goku paused, then continued.
"But you'll have to break that bad habit of always resorting to your fists and feet, and obey Earth's laws while you're here."
With that, Goku looked at Raditz.
"Yes, yes, I'll change for sure. By the way, my dear little brother, could you show me your Super Saiyan form?" Raditz looked at Goku expectantly.
Goku laughed at Raditz, a grown man making a face like that, and agreed helplessly.
"Let's wait until after the party."
Raditz nodded, though he was still a little disappointed that he couldn't see a Super Saiyan in all his glory right away.
"By the way, Kakarot, why do they call you Son Goku?"
Raditz was a little puzzled. It didn't look like Kakarot had lost his memory.
"That's my name as an Earthling. If you don't want to call me Son Goku, Kakarot is fine too."
Goku actually preferred the name Son Goku a little. It represented his life on Earth as an Earthling.
But he didn't dislike the name Kakarot. After all, he was a Saiyan too, wasn't he?
Goku brought Raditz to the party, and everyone immediately noticed Raditz and his waist-length hair.
"Goku, this is your older brother, right? I never expected you to be an alien. If Bulma hadn't told us, we'd never have known. Come on, that's no fun!" Krillin joked.
"Haha, well, you never asked, did you?"
Just then, Bulma came out of the house carrying Kid Gohan. She spotted Raditz at once and walked over.
"Hello, you must be Goku's older brother. I'm Bulma, Goku's wife," Bulma said politely, holding Gohan.
"H-hello. My name is Raditz." Raditz answered carefully. After all, he had just learned that Kakarot's wife was his reverse scale.
"Haha, aren't you being a little too formal?" Goku teased from the side.
Raditz glanced at Goku. How could he not be formal?
"Oh, right, big brother, this is my son, Son Gohan. He's four. Gohan, say hello to your uncle."
After introducing him to Raditz, Goku turned to Gohan.
"Hello, Uncle!"
Gohan got up and flew out of Bulma's arms toward Raditz.
Goku watched it all quietly. He wasn't afraid Raditz would do anything to Gohan.
First, he didn't think Raditz would dare. Besides, Raditz was different from his counterpart in the original story now.
As for the second reason...
"Good, good."
Seeing his nephew fly toward him, Raditz spread his arms to catch him.
Instead, a tremendous force struck his chest, and he fell to the ground with Gohan in his arms.
That was right: four-year-old Gohan's Power Level had already reached 30,000, and that was because Goku hadn't taught him to cultivate.
All he did all day was play. At most, Bulma taught him some lessons. They were all well ahead of his level; he had even finished the middle school curriculum.
But for Gohan, who had inherited Bulma's genes, it all seemed easy.
It wasn't that Goku didn't want to teach him. He thought Piccolo was still the best teacher for Gohan, and this was the perfect chance to have Piccolo teach him.
After all, Piccolo had received plenty of benefits from him over the years, so presumably he would agree.
If he didn't, there was still a way: Goku could spar with Piccolo a few more times, and sooner or later he would agree.
