Reincarnation and the God-Creation Mission

When twenty-year-old Bibi Dong insists on remaining with Yu Xiaogang, Qian Xunji restrains her with holy-light chains and questions her about his years of protection and instruction. He then conducts a public trial above Spirit City, accusing her of disgracing Spirit Hall, disclosing its accumulated knowledge, and abandoning her responsibilities as its intended successor 1 2 3 4.

After she confesses, he destroys her Martial Soul, severs her meridians, cripples her cultivation, and removes her left-leg Soul Bone. He strips her of the Holy Maiden position and orders Yue Guan to confiscate her valuables and expel her from Spirit City. Disappointed in his failed candidate, he decides to produce a talented heir rather than wait for another generation 5.

Marriage and New Candidates

Qian Xunji selects the Nine Heart Begonia inheritor, Ye Qingxian, as his prospective wife. He obtains the Twelve-Grade Holy Light Lotus for her, secures her agreement to marry him, and heals her father Ye Cangshui’s damaged body and Martial Soul. During the same journey, he trades Bibi Dong’s confiscated eighty-thousand-year Soul Bone for the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud 6 8 9.

On the return trip, he discovers Ah Yin hiding in a clinic. He forces her to accompany Ye Qingxian as a maid and places a spiritual imprint on her to prevent escape. Both women become development targets, receiving rare herbs, Soul Bones, and cultivation instruction. His wedding to Ye Qingxian is celebrated with Titled Douluo carrying the bridal sedan chair 10 11 15 17.

Sea God Island and Qian Renxue

After driving away the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, Qian Xunji reaches Sea God Island and returns the Sea God’s Heart to Bo Saixi in exchange for allowing Ah Yin and Ye Qingxian to take the Sea God Trial. Ah Yin receives the Sea God Nine Trials. Bo Saixi’s anger over his twenty-year delay in fulfilling his promise develops into an intimate relationship 21 22 35.

Qian Renxue subsequently arrives from the original timeline for a three-month stay. Although he initially dismisses her ordinary Soul Ring configuration, Qian Xunji accepts her as his daughter and condemns the undercover mission that wasted her innate Level 20 talent. He arranges two Soul Beast sacrifices, provides powerful Soul Bones, and teaches her techniques to prepare her to reclaim Spirit Hall and inherit the Angel Godhood 24 25 27 31 33.

During this period, Ah Yin announces that she is pregnant with his child. Qian Xunji celebrates by giving her the Hundred-Thousand-Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone taken from the original timeline 29.

Confrontation with the Rakshasa God

The original timeline’s Bibi Dong crosses into his spacetime after becoming the Rakshasa God. When she threatens his companions and nearly kills Bo Saixi, Qian Xunji intervenes. He defeats her, shatters her divine spark, and strips her of her cultivation and Martial Soul 37 38 39 41.

He imprisons her on a platform of profound ice rather than killing her. His decision to spare her is explicitly tied to Qian Renxue’s feelings; Bibi Dong no longer poses a threat when she is returned to her own spacetime 39 41.

Zhu Zhuqing, Shui Bing’er, and the Far North

Qian Xunji later accepts Shui Bing’er and Zhu Zhuqing as his women and teaches them the Bright Jade Technique. He arranges resources to improve their Martial Souls, but places a Yin-Yang Life-Death Talisman in Zhu Zhuqing because he distrusts her conflicting family loyalties 44 45 46.

He travels to the Far North with Ye Qingxian, Shui Bing’er, and Zhu Zhuqing, overwhelms the Titan Snow Demon King’s attack, and summons the Snow Empress and Ice Empress. He offers the two empresses a route to eventual resurrection through helping Shui Bing’er become a god. They agree that the Ice Empress will sacrifice herself first, followed by the Snow Empress when Shui Bing’er reaches Level 50 46 47 48.

Original-Timeline Counterpart

The original timeline’s Qian Xunji is a separate, less powerful version of the character. Qian Daoliu believes that even had his son survived, he would have had no hope of reaching Level 98. Viewers repeatedly notice that the heavenly-screen Pope’s bearing and abilities differ sharply from those of the man they knew 2 3.

That counterpart subjected Bibi Dong to abuse in the secret chamber and fathered Qian Renxue. Tang Hao later grievously wounded him, but Bibi Dong was responsible for his death. The reincarnated Qian Xunji learns about these events through Qian Renxue’s visit 15 24 26.

Personality

Qian Xunji places Spirit Hall’s interests above personal attachments. He expects loyalty in return for protection and resources, treating Bibi Dong’s rejection of her responsibilities as grounds to reclaim everything invested in her. That betrayal also shapes his later treatment of Zhu Zhuqing: he uses a painful control talisman rather than trusting her promises 4 5 46.

He is impatient and pragmatic about his god-creation mission. Rather than wait twenty years for future prodigies, he seeks a wife and plans to raise his own heir. He likewise refuses the Angel Godhood because it is only a First-Level God position, reserving it for his daughter instead 5 27.

His affection is frequently expressed through harsh instruction and lavish material support. He scolds Qian Renxue for wasting her talent, then spends her three-month visit obtaining sacrifices and Soul Bones for her. He urges her to remain rational, avoid mercy toward enemies, and spend more time with her grandfather after returning 25 31 33.

His relationships also show a coercive side. He initially keeps Ah Yin under threat and spiritual surveillance, repeatedly ambushes or restrains Bo Saixi during their intimate encounters, and makes Zhu Zhuqing’s security conditional on obedience to Spirit Hall and Shui Bing’er 10 41 46.
