Lin Yang used his Seer ability and careful leadership to identify Facelings, organize the survivors, and lead them through the dangers of the ruined school. The arc left him exposing another Faceling when Liu Jialiang shot the balding man and black blood spilled from the wound.

• Lin Yang hid in a storage room, discovered a concealed refrigerator, and watched Zhang Lei falsely claim to be the Seer before Facelings killed Zhang Lei and another survivor.
• Lin Yang revealed himself as the real Seer, identified the fat man as a Faceling, and rallied the survivors by promising to keep them alive if they followed him.
• Lin Yang exposed Li Wei as a Faceling with Jiang Yu'an’s help, and the survivors killed Li Wei and disposed of the bodies.
• Lin Yang organized night watches, then found a key that unlocked the classroom door and led the survivors out into a ruined school surrounded by fog.
• After a monster dragged away a survivor outside the gate, Lin Yang warned the group to stay together and gained more followers, including Liu Yan.
• Lin Yang investigated another corpse, stopped the group from attacking Liu Jialiang without proof, and led a search that uncovered food to share among the survivors.
• Lin Yang learned through his ability that Liu Jialiang was a Gunslinger, then suspected a Faceling had approached his office through a vent.
• Lin Yang tied up Zhang Hao and two companions because they had been absent overnight, identified the balding middle-aged man as a Faceling, and watched Liu Jialiang shoot him as black blood spilled from the wound.

Lin Yang led the school survivors through the Faceling hunt and out of the school, only to enter the Yellow Room, where a new monster-filled survival game began. After a false Seer died and food became scarce, Lin Yang’s group found supplies and clashed with the other survivors.

• Liu Jialiang shot a crying man who was revealed as a Faceling, and Lin Yang used his remaining prophecy to find a hidden manual and seasonings for preparing tentacle meat.
• Lin Yang and the others used Zhang Hao as bait to sever a tentacle, but Zhang Hao and Shen Cheng were dragged into the fog, leaving the survivors with meat to cook.
• After the group ate the tentacle, a Faceling attacked Liu Jialiang and injured the fatty, while Lin Yang suspected Zhao Yao, Chen Yu, and two men from Yanbian.
• Shen Cheng returned claiming to be the Seer, but Lin Yang inspected him and found he was a Faceling, and Lin Yang’s warning led the Yanbian men to attack and expose him.
• After the survivors killed Shen Cheng, Lin Yang uncovered another Faceling and later shot Liu Yan, ending the school game with 23 survivors and no Facelings.
• The school gates opened, and Lin Yang and the others passed through into the Yellow Room, where a broadcast announced 18 survivors and four Facelings.
• Lin Yang led his group through the corridor while a black Faceling killed newcomers, and Liu Yunwei’s false claim to be the Seer ended with his death.
• Lin Yang found directions to food and led his group to a stocked vending machine, then stabbed Li Xuan when he and a muscular man charged him, and an elegantly dressed woman asked to join Lin Yang’s group.
