Yu Longyue recognized the danger and prepared to keep researching while his cultivation neared a breakthrough.

• Long Yue transformed into the Mountain Dragon King and used mountains, quagmires, and his strength to hold the defensive line against the Abyss Creatures.
• A Charm Empress assassinated a human officer and attacked the command structure, so Xie Xie engaged her while the Charm Empress clan sabotaged weapons and hunted officers.
• The Abyss Creatures broke through all four mountaintop defensive lines, but the Allied Legion refused to retreat and continued fighting.
