Yu Longyue built his strength and influence while joining forces with Huo Yuhao against Tang San, then headed to Shrek Academy with Gu Yue. There, Silver Moon Douluo repeatedly gave them zeroes, and Yu Longyue challenged her after she urged Gu Yue to leave.
Yu Longyue established himself at Shrek Academy, reunited with Na'er, and joined forces with Huo Yuhao to undermine Tang San while building ties with the Spirit Pagoda. The stretch ended with Yu Longyue arranging Battle Armor for Gu Yue, Tang Wulin, and Huo Yuhao as his relationship with Gu Yue grew closer.
Yu Longyue and Huo Yuhao targeted the Spirit Pagoda, then the Holy Spirit Cult lured Yu Longyue into a trap in Eastsea City. Yu Longyue survived the battle and a long recovery, emerging with his Golden Dragon King seal broken and a new method for cultivating through his Soul Core.
Yu Longyue punished the Inspection Corps for its failure in Eastsea City, rose to Soul Saint, and led Shrek’s delegation to the Star Luo Continent. As he dominated the tournament and pursued plans involving Dragon Valley and the Tang Sect, he and Huo Yuhao stole data from a Tang Sect branch and fled with its experts in pursuit.
Yu Longyue entered Dragon Valley, received the Dragon God's inheritance, and grew closer to Gu Yuena as they restored the Dragon Clan's legacy. After returning to his family, he learned Tang San and Tang Hao were preparing a Clear Sky Sect ambush, and set out to confront the danger.
Yu Longyue defeated Tang San in Star Luo City, then returned to Shrek and confronted the damage Tang San inflicted on Tang Wulin. He led an alliance to attack the Clear Sky Sect, but the group arrived to find its grounds already bloodied and empty.
Yu Longyue joined the Blood God Legion and entered an S-rank Abyss Passage, where his ability to absorb abyssal energy made him a decisive force against the Abyss Tide. After the Sage Emperor’s projection forced the Abyss Creatures to retreat, Yu Longyue trapped them in a lightning domain, but a powerful presence threatened the seal.
Yu Longyue recovered from his battle with the Abyssal Sage King, took command roles in the Blood God Legion and Shrek, and helped coordinate a Federation-wide response to the Abyss and Holy Spirit Cult. The arc ended with Yu Longyue preparing Yu Longyang for Four-Word Battle Armor and a lightning tribulation while the campaign against the Holy Spirit Cult continued.
Yu Longyue uncovered an Abyss infiltrator, secured cooperation from both empires, and prepared the Federation for war while the Abyss launched an attack on the Blood God Legion. The Abyss forces broke through the Legion’s defenses, and Yu Longyue set out to join the fight.
Yu Longyue and Gu Yuena defeated the Abyssal Sage King and sealed the Abyss Passages, while Yun Ming faced six True Gods and broke the Blood River God-Slaying Array. Yun Ming killed the Ghost Emperor and mortally wounded the Darkness Emperor, but the Demon Empress and other enemies escaped as the battlefield began to change.
Yu Longyue and the Federation prepared for a confrontation with Tang San and the Abyss as Tang San took control of the Demon Empress’s body and regained his power. The Abyssal Sage King emerged during the invasion and overwhelmed the Federation’s strongest fighters, until Huo Yuhao brought the Battlecruiser into the battle.
Yu Longyue defeated Tang San and the Abyssal forces, then used the Plane Power to revive the fallen Federation warriors. As he prepared for a new conflict, Gu Yuena chose to lead the Soul Beasts into an invasion despite the danger.
Yu Longyue defeated Gu Yuena, built a vast alliance, and returned to face Tang San’s Great God Realm. After Tang San rejected his terms, Yu Longyue fought the God Kings alone and overwhelmed them, leaving the battle’s outcome in his hands.
