At this moment, on the front lines of Starskiff Haven.
A group of Cloud Knights were on guard at the makeshift defensive line. A Foxian was at the forefront, keeping a close eye on the approaching Borisin, and released the fully drawn bowstring.
A blue arrow flew from the Borisin Liren fell to the ground. The next Borisin rushed forward, but it was too late to draw his bow again. The Cloud Knights beside him raised their battle swords, ready to fight at close range, when they heard the sound of air being cut behind them.
Feixiao's figure entered the Starskiff. With a powerful push of his legs, the Starskiff shot out, knocking back the remaining Borisin. He landed gracefully on the ground, his gun-sword already in his hand.
"You've come, Feixiao." The Foxian smiled warmly at the general before him.
"Sister Yukong, after thirty years, we're fighting side by side again," Feixiao replied, then did a stretch.
"It's been a while since I've stretched my muscles, let's begin!"
Before he could finish speaking, Feixiao's figure vanished from his spot in an instant. The first- Borisin had no time to react before his skull was crushed by a swiftly approaching hand.
Purple blood burst into the air. Before the blood droplets could fall to the ground, Feixiao moved again, the impact leaving a blur. He retracted his arm, aimed at another Borisin, and threw a punch, the immense wind pressure embedding him into the wall.
"We're on the Xianzhou Luofu now, so you'd better watch your strength!" Yukong released the bowstring again, and the arrow shot out, accurately hitting the third Borisin in the distance.
Feixiao did not respond; his gun-sword burst into flames, striking down the last Borisin.
"The battlefield at Starskiff Haven has been cleaned up."
"The battlefield over at Aurum Alley has been cleared by someone, but over at Exalting Sanctum... it seems they're still locked in a fierce battle. I'll prepare the Starskiff now—"
Yukong was about to speak, Feixiao interrupted him, "A prolonged battle is not going to be good. Right now, we must race against time to thwart the farce left behind by Hoolay."
He then sighed softly and looked into the distance, "Although Jiaoqiu always hopes I'll stop here and not get serious, now... it's time for a truly 'quick and decisive' battle."
Feixiao turned around, his gaze fixed on the sky. "Call Exalting Sanctum, if you see any light in the sky, everyone scatter immediately!"
Without allowing a moment's pause, Feixiao didn't turn around, but simply said, "Sister Yukong I borrow your bow?"
Yukong chuckled from behind and tossed his longbow to Feixiao. Feixiao caught it with a backhand, gathered his strength in his feet, and condensed wind pressure. With a push of his feet, he instantly flew into the sky, landing on a rooftop, and nocked an arrow.
The pressure that had just been generated intensified, lifting Feixiao into the air and leaving an arrow-shaped streak in the air. The Cloud Knights members felt it and quickly looked up, the sky changing color due to the power of this arrow. Feixiao released his finger, and a bright blue meteor instantly streaked across the sky.
After drawing his bow and landing on the ground, Feixiao first looked at the arrows in the distance, when suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his chest. He instinctively reached out and pressed his hand to the spot, closing one eye.
"That was... the general's arrow?"
Jiaoqiu turned around, opened her eyes, and stared at the shooting star flying from afar.
"Disperse! Everyone disperse!"
Moze used almost the loudest volume he had ever used in his life, and several Cloud Knights around him immediately scattered upon hearing the signal.
The rapid arrows almost froze time for a moment, casting a cold light on the ground before landing, even forming a gaseous substance. The Borisin on the field had no time to dodge.
The moment the arrow struck, the entire ground erupted in blue-green flames. Borisin was almost instantly vaporized, and the entire area was destroyed, forming a mushroom cloud high in the sky above the entire Xianzhou.
"Then... what exactly is it?"
Just as Hanxing was about to head to Exalting Sanctum, a massive shockwave struck. A light shield deployed, protecting Firefly and allowing Hanxing to see the full extent of the attack.
"This is... Feixiao's attack--"
Firefly stared at the distant explosion, then slowly spoke:
"Different Path emphasize different aspects. ' Harmony ' and ' Order ' primarily strengthen the spirit, while ' Abundance ' mainly enhances endurance and self-healing. ' Elation ' and ' Nihility ' focus on conceptual abilities. ' Finality ' and ' Remembrance ' focus on temporal abilities, while ' Destruction ' and ' The Hunt ' are more direct, enhancing the intensity of attacks."
"And this is based on the premise that the ' The Hunt ' Path itself focuses on enhancing attack power. By primarily increasing the results of the attack, the two factors work together, and a full-force strike can be enough to destroy a star. Of course, this is just an optimistic estimate."
Upon hearing Firefly's explanation, Hanxing was almost completely stunned. "This is too... domineering! Although we don't know what it is, from a distance it seems to be just an ordinary longbow?"
"Therefore, there's a saying in the think tank: 'If the Pathstrider is a wave, then the Emanator is a tsunami,' the two are not even in the same league." (Firefly's simple explanation:)
"That's why there's a world of difference between a fake Emanator and a true Emanator. To fight a true Emanator with the body of Pathstrider is simply throwing an egg against a rock."
"Is that so..." Hanxing lowered his head in thought. As a dual- Path Emanator, it seemed no one could force him to use his full strength. What would his full strength be like?
"Then, we can head towards the Skysplitter first." Hanxing paused briefly, then spoke, "Such a powerful attack, that area is probably already wiped out. Next, it's time to find some real opponents to toughen us up."
The direction of Exalting Sanctum at this time.
"Tsk, this is really troublesome. I knew things would turn out this way..."
Moze sighed and looked at Jiaoqiu beside him.
"Honestly, I told her to watch what she did, and she still made such a commotion. Her health... I'm afraid she's having problems again."
Jiaoqiu lowered her head somewhat dejectedly, lost in thought.
"This girl always likes to make a scene like this whenever she goes to battle. Heaven knows what she used as an arrow to shoot this time."
Moze shook his head, looking at the mess in front of him and remaining silent.
It's not "always," it's just "often."
Jiaoqiu joked around with them, but ultimately said nothing.
"Let's keep searching. If we find anyone alive, we can interrogate them to find out their whereabouts."
"... What a terrifying blow."
In the distance, at the corner of the wall, Modu narrowly escaped the attack, but he was still severely injured and almost incapacitated.
"Who would have thought... that such astonishing power would be in the hands of a Foxian battle slave."
"So decisive, and so... ruthless. Compared to us, who have fallen to such a state, she is more like a descendant of Du Lan. No wonder the War Chief is interested in her."
