"What do you think of this coat?"
Kafka held up a coat and looked at Hanxing, asking for his opinion.
Hanxing shook his head.
"I don't really like that kind."
Kafka put the coat down in disappointment, then turned to the sales clerk.
"Please wrap it up for me."
"Sure enough, Kafka still can't resist the temptation of a coat."
Firefly teased her from the side, then picked up a trench coat.
"What about this one?"
Hanxing looked at the trench coat. A dark blue star was embroidered across its broad back.
"It looks pretty good. How about this one?"
Firefly smiled.
"Of course. Please wrap this one up too."
"Oh, right, there's also workwear." Firefly thought for a moment. "A suit." Then she pointed to the suit rack nearby.
"Silver Wolf! Go get a suit from over there!"
Watching everyone bustle around, Hanxing felt a headache coming on.
"Have I... experienced this feeling too?"
Soon, the group arrived at the checkout counter.
"Hello, we'd like to pay!"
The cashier quickly worked out the total and handed the clothes back to Hanxing.
"Five items, for a total of thirty-seven thousand Shields."
Kafka was about to pay, but after rummaging around, she lowered her hand in disappointment.
"I forgot to exchange my money. Hanxing, could you cover it for now?"
Hanxing didn't waste time. He immediately took the Shields out of his space and handed them to the cashier, then left the clothing store.
Meanwhile, Caelus woke up in the Underworld clinic.
"Caelus, you're awake?"
March 7th watched Caelus slowly wake up.
"What happened to me?"
Caelus asked.
"Don't you remember? That Stellaron Hunter used some kind of sorcery on you, and then you passed out."
"Stellaron... Hunter..."
Caelus scratched his head.
"Who exactly are these Stellaron Hunters?"
"A group of intergalactic criminals."
Dan Heng had long since memorized the data bank inside and out.
"They hunt Stellarons throughout the universe. Who knows how many zeros their bounties have by now."
"There are five members of the Stellaron Hunters: Elio, Silver Wolf, Kafka, Blade, and Sam."
"If what you said is true, the Stellaron Hunters have another member: Hanxing. Perhaps we should tell the Interastral Peace Corporation to update their wanted notices."
Caelus nodded.
"Doesn't sound like they're any good. We'd better watch out for them next time."
Then he slapped his forehead.
"Wait, what do we do now that we failed to seal the Stellaron?"
"There's nothing we can do..."
March 7th comforted him.
"At least we resolved this world's disaster. The method probably doesn't matter..."
"I guess that's all we can do."
Caelus held his head and said no more.
"Speaking of which..."
Kafka turned to the others.
"Is there anything you want to buy?"
Silver Wolf shook her head.
"They don't sell game consoles in this godforsaken place."
Kafka smiled.
"It's all right. I'll go buy one with you later."
"How about we get some dessert?"
Hanxing made a suggestion, and Firefly backed him up.
"Yes, yes! I want cake!"
Kafka looked at the two of them, a smile appearing on her face.
"Welcome!"
The cashier's enthusiastic voice soon reached the Stellaron Hunters' ears.
"What do you want? My treat."
Hanxing gazed at Firefly dotingly, staring so intently that she wished she could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
"All right, let's get the one we bought last time."
Hearing that, Hanxing walked straight to the shelf holding the fruit and cream cakes and took one down. Unlike last time, he took a whole cake. Then Hanxing looked back at the others.
"Do you want anything?"
Kafka and Silver Wolf shook their heads.
"You have pretty good taste. This is enough for us."
Hanxing turned back and took down an Oak Cake Roll.
"Since when did you start liking this too?"
Firefly asked with a smile.
"I thought it was pretty good, so I grew to like it."
Hanxing spoke, though it wasn't clear what he was talking about. Then he turned to the clerk.
"That'll be sixteen hundred Shields."
Hanxing readily paid and walked out of the shop with the Stellaron Hunters.
"Let's get a good day's rest first."
Kafka looked at Hanxing.
"I'll tell you about your new mission tomorrow."
Hanxing said no more. He opened a spatial gate and returned to his room. With two slashes, another spatial gate appeared, and he stepped through into the space.
Star Eyes operated at full speed, and a woman rose from its blue light. When her face appeared, it was none other than Cocolia.
"Where... am I?"
Cocolia looked at Hanxing.
"You don't need to know that for now. Get some more sleep."
Hanxing's voice was cold as he looked into Cocolia's eyes.
"Prison of Fiery Eyes: Forbidden Thrust!"
Soon, Hanxing returned to the spaceship and lay down on his bed.
"That really was... pretty exciting..."
Suddenly, he remembered the celebration they had agreed on and hurried out with the cake in his hands.
"To celebrate our new member Hanxing completing his first mission, cheers!"
Silver Wolf raised her cup. Of those present, Kafka was probably the only one who could drink alcohol, so the cups were filled with soft drinks.
With a clink, the four cups met. Hanxing turned to Firefly, who had a dab of cream at the corner of her mouth, a hint of affection in his eyes.
"Congratulations!"
Firefly smiled, and Hanxing reached out and gently wiped the cream from the corner of her mouth.
"Oh~"
Everyone had become a spectator to the scene, and their burning gazes made the two blush.
"It's all right, we support office romances~"
Kafka teased the two of them, while Silver Wolf, eager to make the scene even livelier, chimed in from the side. "Han-Firefly forever!"
Just then, Hanxing glanced to the side and saw a pure black kitten, its expression also showing a hint of enjoyment at the spectacle, its yellow eyes gleaming strangely. Just as Hanxing wondered why an organization like the Stellaron Hunters needed a cat, Kafka's actions gave him his answer.
"What's wrong, Elio? Do you ship them too?"
Kafka smiled faintly and stroked its head.
"Fun like this, outside the 'script,' is quite a rare treat."
Who would have thought that the cat, the one ordinary people would pay the least attention to, was actually the most important figure in the entire Stellaron Hunters?
After a long celebration, the cake had been eaten up, and night had fallen over Belobog below.
If the local residents looked up, the Astral Express and the Stellaron Hunters' spaceship would appear like two bright stars, shining faintly amid the galaxy.
The Astral Express was positioned on the sunlit side, while the Galaxy Hunters' spaceship was on the dark side, as though they were a reflection of their destinies...
Everyone returned to their rooms. Hanxing and Firefly parted reluctantly. After all, on the road to pursuing the script, they were destined to spend more time apart than together. This memory would be treasured in everyone's hearts until their finality.
