Columbina has lived in Snezhnaya Palace for years. Her private room is warm and elegant, deliberately contrasting with the palace’s colder surroundings because she dislikes excessive cold 49 50.

Before staying at Korolevsky Theater, she attended its production of Final Chapter of Snow, watching Varesa and Odette from a second-floor box. Both performers admire her, and receiving her personal instruction is described as an opportunity countless Snezhnayan singers and dancers would dream of 54 56.

She previously gave Dottore part of her Lunar Authority for experimentation, a decision she later regrets. Another portion of her power is with the Tsaritsa, further reducing the strength available to her as her natural deterioration continues 68.

Columbina has long red-and-black hair, pale violet-blue eyes, and a gentle smile. Her footsteps are exceptionally light, making almost no sound on marble 49.

Personality

Columbina is soft-spoken and welcoming, sharing food with Bai You and slowing her pace to accommodate her shorter steps. She also discourages excessive formality, asking Odette to call her Columbina because “Lady” sounds too distant 49 54.

Despite her reserved habits, she longs for ordinary companionship. Watching Bai You and Varesa together makes her envious of the happiness of caring for someone and being cared for in return. She later explains that the theater’s lively company is far more enjoyable than staying alone 53 56 107.

Her gentleness coexists with a mischievous streak. She repeatedly teases Sandrone about eating machine oil, deliberately flusters her, and turns their beach outing into a splashing match. Stay at Korolevsky Theater

After becoming the Twelfth Harbinger, Bai You seeks Columbina out and brings her fruit and bread. Columbina shares the food, invites her inside for tea, and agrees to visit Korolevsky Theater so she can have more bread. She subsequently asks to stay for about a week and offers vocal and stage guidance in return 49 50 54 56.

During the visit, Bai You secretly gives her a Moon Fragment. Its effect on Columbina’s declining strength attracts Dottore’s attention and leads him to investigate Bai You 64.

Dottore’s Attack and Bai You’s Recovery

Columbina senses danger around Bai You and Varesa, sends Odette to summon Capitano, and heads for the grotto. She arrives after the battle has ended and treats Bai You’s injuries, but finds no breathing, pulse, or response from her power 68 70 71.

Capitano later establishes that Bai You’s soul has vanished without evidence of dissipation, leaving open the possibility of her return. Columbina and Odette resolve to protect her body while he investigates. Bai You eventually awakens and rejoins them by the theater fireplace 73 77.

Departure and Mondstadt Journey

After Sandrone asks her to return, Columbina leaves the theater with luggage consisting entirely of bread from Bai You. She thanks her hosts individually and promises to watch Odette dance again 109 110.

On learning that Bai You is traveling to Mondstadt, she decides to accompany her. Sandrone joins them, claiming that she wants to visit Rosalyne and hold a tea party 120 121.

In Mondstadt, Columbina helps organize Bai You’s surprise concert for Varesa. Her duties include managing the audience and keeping people away from backstage; she also helps a small girl find a clear view at the front 129 131.

Harbinger Identities Revealed

The group witnesses La Signora take Venti’s Gnosis without intervening. Afterward, Venti identifies Columbina as the Third Harbinger, alarming Lumine and Paimon. Columbina maintains that her own visit is a vacation and that the concert was part of it 149 150.

Return Toward Snezhnaya

Columbina cannot accompany Bai You and Varesa to Liyue because the Tsaritsa will soon need her Lunar Authority. She and Sandrone arrange to return with Odette and Rosalyne, then share a farewell meal and drinks with their friends 153 155 158.

On her last night in Mondstadt, she makes moon-spirit charms while considering leaving the Fatui and Snezhnaya. Despite a sudden dimming of her power, she completes the keepsakes, gives them to Bai You and Varesa, and departs with Sandrone and Odette for Port of Dornman 162.
