Genin Assessment

Ever since hearing the name Hatake Kakashi, Sakura had felt that this assessment would most likely end in failure.

As she passed a trash can in the hallway, Sakura looked at the talisman in her hand and suddenly felt humiliated.

She tore the talisman to shreds.

At the same time, Sasuke returned to normal.

Not long after, the immobilizing effect of the Sunflower - Acupoint Sealing Technique wore off. He toppled to the ground, and when he saw Naruto beside him, his anger erupted uncontrollably.

But Sasuke ignored him and kept walking.

"You dare call me an idiot?" Naruto rolled up his sleeves, strode over, and slapped a hand toward Sasuke's shoulder.

Naruto laughed all the way toward the assembly ground.

At the grounds, Sakura looked at him resentfully.

He shivered and asked with a smile, "Sakura, why are you looking at me like that?"

Sakura's face darkened. "The Genin assessment is about to start. Can't you look at the bigger picture? Sasuke is the backbone of our team. If something happens to him, can you take responsibility?"

Naruto felt deeply wronged. "Sasuke was clearly the one who attacked first..."

"That was because you insulted him first!" Sakura cut him off, not giving him any chance to explain.
