"I am Shimura Danzō of the Anbu. I'm here to investigate..."

Before he could finish, his gaze flicked over and landed on the golden light emanating from the scratch-offs in Ino and Shikamaru's hands.

Ino had never seen such a grand display at the academy and fearfully hid behind Shikamaru.

"The things in your hands are scratch-offs, correct?" Danzō asked softly.

Ino nodded fearfully.

Shikamaru, however, showed no fear and continued scratching with the same calm demeanor.

Soon, the light from his scratch-off faded, and a mechanical mouse floated out from it.

Wu Di explained.

"This is called a Mechanical Rat. It can quickly burrow underground."

"It can greatly increase the casting range of your Shadow Binding Technique."

Shikamaru put away the Mechanical Rat in one motion and said blandly, "Oh, got it."

While he remained calm, Ino beside him was far more flustered.

Trembling, she returned to the table and was just about to continue scratching the unfinished half of her scratch-off.

Then Danzō suddenly said from beside her, "Give me yours!"

At that moment, Danzō's subordinates also came out.

Then he stood up, rubbed his nose, and walked into the Scratch-off Tickets Shop across the street.

Just then, he saw Ino and Shikamaru coming out together and called out bluntly.

"Shikamaru, why are there only you and Ino? Where's Choji?"

Shikamaru snorted. "Idiot, who's like you and Sasuke?"

With that, he shoved both hands into his pockets and left with Ino.

Naruto stood there in the wind for a moment before roaring at Shikamaru's back, "There's absolutely nothing going on between Sasuke and me!"

Then he stormed into the Scratch-off Tickets Shop.

"Boss, give me a hundred-ryō one!"

Smiling, Wu Di pulled out a scratch-off ticket worth a hundred ryō and placed it before him.

Naruto took out a coin, placed it in his palm, pressed his hands together, and muttered something under his breath.

After a moment, he let out a long breath. "I'm starting to scratch now!"
