"Eee-yah-yah..."
Strange murmurs, resembling human voices yet not quite human, echoed in the dark cell.
The sound initially appeared as a random jumble of audio gibberish, but upon closer listening, it evoked a chilling sense of dread.
If you don't listen carefully, you'll only feel your mind is in chaos, and your head will throb with pain from the noise. But if you listen carefully, at first you'll feel a sudden realization, as if the essence of life has been clearly dissected, and listening to these strange ramblings is like understanding the origin of life. But if you listen for a while longer, an inexplicable sense of oppression will arise in your heart, and it will expand rapidly with time, eventually driving you insane and crushing you to death.
This ancient, godlike whisper seemed to be recounting the fundamental principles of God's creation. Its content was so profoundly offensive that those who heard it could not bear this theory of creation, and were driven to madness and death by its overwhelming grandeur...
"Aaaaaah!!!" A piercing scream echoed from the cell next door, where the prisoners, having heard this babbling for too long, had descended into madness.
His body twisted and turned in a bizarre way, like a zombie, with no discernible pattern to his movements. He even managed to break his own bones by stretching his arms behind him.
However, the shrill screams from his mouth only lasted for a short time. As his posture became increasingly bizarre, his shrill screams unconsciously began to echo the strange whispers.
"Bang!"
One of the prisoner's eyeballs burst open on his contorted face, and a little blood mixed with the shattered lens splattered onto the wall, even bouncing slightly.
With its eyeballs bursting, it seemed to have set a bad precedent.
With one loud bang after another, his body, twisted like a pretzel, continued to collapse and explode.
Blood, along with bits of flesh, splattered onto the surrounding walls, turning the entire cell into a bloody and disgusting mess.
Even his bones were cracking inch by inch, merging with his collapsing, mud-like flesh.
But even though it had been shattered to such an extent, its flesh and blood seemed to still retain their vitality.
The bits of flesh and blood splattered on the wall slowly wriggled, like worms, crawling together to form a sizable, bloody mass.
"Eee-yah-yah..." The lump of flesh writhed eerily, and with the movement of its tissues, strange yet extremely familiar murmurs emanated from its body.
As for the strange and inexplicable murmurs emanating from its body, they seemed to be nothing more than the sounds of its flesh writhing and its tissues sticking and sliding together.
This clearly active mass of flesh, almost as if it were sentient, surged towards the cell where whispers were emanating from...
Two jet-black eyes watched the prisoner's bloody spectacle of exploding and rebuilding through the iron bars of the cell, remaining completely unmoved.
From his perspective, the cell next to the main prison cell held another pile of flesh, burst open and mangled. The two piles of flesh seemed to be sentient, wriggling towards each other as if trying to merge.
Such bizarre living flesh and blood inexplicably evokes a soul-crushing fear.
It's hard to imagine what horrific things these two lumps of flesh would eventually become if released.
However, under Norton's watchful eye, they had no chance to go out.
"Ha..." A deep, terrifying roar rang out from the side. Two lumps of flesh, which had just flowed out of the iron-barred doorway with their soft bodies, were swallowed whole by two huge winged monsters crouching nearby, just like chicks eating worms.
The two bats, Coal Ball and Plum Blossom, squatted on either side of the cell door, their eyes fixed on the entrance, like two little hamsters waiting for a feeder to deliver food.
The two lumps of flesh were completely destroyed, but this did not ease Norton's furrowed brow.
This is the final, complete form of the monster, nurtured by his flesh and blood, allowed to grow freely without being confined by thought.
His flesh and blood do indeed have the plasticity to shape new kinds of creatures, but this requires his mind to define it. If it is not defined, then any living thing that devours his flesh and blood will begin to mutate, including but not limited to 'growing eyes on its body', 'having extra arms on its lower body', 'growing sharp teeth from dermatitis'... His flesh and blood are like nuclear waste that can emit nuclear radiation, causing these creatures to undergo all sorts of mutations.
However, no matter how distorted it becomes, as the depth of its cultivation increases, when it is fully cultivated to its final maturity, its flesh and blood will collapse, eventually turning into something like these two lumps of flesh and blood.
Its physical form, coupled with the incantations emanating from its body that seemed to touch upon the very essence of life in this world, made it resemble a creature from Norton's past life memories.
This thing seems to have touched upon the authority of God, which seems to be the origin of its constant muttering.
Norton speculated that this thing was more like a new life form formed by the fusion of his genes and God's genes. After all, whether it was Coal Ball or New-Type Vampire, it could be seen as a product of Norton adding a strand of his genes to the genetic chain of the species created by God and making appropriate modifications. Although its essence included two genes, it was still two genes.
This thing is more like his genes and God's genes completely fused together, forming a completely new gene that has never appeared before, expressing a completely new life.
In modern terms, the mutated products like Coal Ball and Werewolf can be seen as products of DNA editing technology. They extracted a portion of the beneficial genes from other organisms and added them to the gene chain of another organism without affecting gene expression. Both genes were then expressed, thus forming entirely new biological traits.
This strange life form, however, seemed to have shattered all these genes and gradually reassembled them into a completely new genome.
However, the vitality of its body and the surrounding murmurs proclaiming the essence of life make it seem more like the most primal (basic) form of life...
Therefore, Norton named it: Primordial Lifeform.
Norton couldn't figure out the thing's true nature, but its bizarre appearance, its constant babbling, and its strange behavior instilled in Norton a deep sense of dread.
What people fear most is discovering something they can't understand, and what's even more terrifying is that they themselves created that thing!
Norton was completely baffled!
Such a bizarre creature, even if he could still destroy it with a single thought, would still cause a far greater sense of unease than First-Generation Vampire or any other mutated intelligent species.
This thing's form is too primitive, too malleable, and its assimilation efficiency through its constant muttering is ridiculously high, making it far more terrifying than Vampire.
