Has Norton truly reformed?
-
Norton seems to have truly turned over a new leaf.
Two slits split open on his smooth back, stretching all the way down to his ankles.
Then, a pure white skeleton emerged from the gap.
Its skeleton is shaped like a bat's wing, with some parts attached to it, resembling the wrinkled wings of an insect that has just undergone metamorphosis and emerged from its shell.
Its wings spread wide in the wind, quickly becoming strong, and then a broad, fleshy bat wing extended all the way down to its ankles, making it look like a giant white bat when it spreads its wings.
"Call!"
The white wings whistled and flapped, and Norton's pale body was lifted from the ground by the gale. With the flapping of his pale wings, his long, snow-white hair flew wildly, highlighting his already holy and noble appearance to another level!
Its wings flapped, and it flew out of the Holy See.
"Hold head high!!!"
A dozen enormous monstrous figures followed closely behind, flapping their wings.
As the sunlight shone, intense flames burned on their bodies, but such damage seemed insignificant to these monsters; the burns from a few moments were less severe than being stabbed by Holy Knight with a greatsword.
Norton had no attachment to the Holy See and no interest in the so-called throne of God. He seemed to have truly reformed himself, just as he claimed, and was ready to enjoy freedom.
But as he was leaving, Norton swallowed the pale cross, the pure white nail, and even the flesh that had fallen off himself.
Especially that pale cross; relying on the Existence Level status, Norton painstakingly chewed it up piece by piece and swallowed it, demonstrating extreme caution!
In terms of confinement alone, if God does not appear, then no one in this world can imprison him.
Compared to that, the few pieces of flesh and blood that were once scattered outside are not such a troublesome matter.
After all, it would be difficult to completely transform a species by consuming its flesh and blood, even with flesh and blood that had been scattered outside.
Of course, the main reason is that he cannot perceive the flesh and blood that he once shed, so there is really no way to do it.
"Boom..."
The enormous palace rolled over the houses, flattening the entire area, leaving only the cries and terrified screams of the people.
The majestic palace moved slowly forward like a carriage, with thousands of Vampire engulfed in flames, enduring the scorching sun, pulling on a dense network of chains to drag the palace along.
Almost every short distance, a Vampire would be burned to ashes by the sunlight, turning into a wisp of dust and dissipating into the air.
Aside from Elizabeth, who soared to welcome the return of the progenitor, another Vampire grand duke Abraham, even transformed into Vampire Lord, his body wrapped in chains. He set an example by pulling on the chains at the forefront of the Vampire horde to welcome His Majesty's return.
The scorching sun, burning Abraham's skin, could also cause sacred wounds that took a long time to heal.
Even so, Abraham, who was three meters tall and resembled a giant bat, was indifferent to the burning of his body. Instead, he was full of piety, as if on a pilgrimage, letting the flames burn on his body, so that the First Ancestor could see his inner loyalty!
To express his excitement and joy at the resurrection of his ancestors, Abraham even forced tears to well up in his eyes, his face contorted like a ferocious bat.
As the palace was being pulled along, tears streamed down her face like raindrops...
Abraham... how loyal he was!
"Fuck your mother!"
"Who released the Primordial Ones? They're all dead! They're all dead!!!"
Abraham's eyes reddened as he pulled on the massive, imposing palace, glancing back at it.
Whenever he sees a Fifth-Generation Vampire die from exposure to sunlight, his eyebrows twitch slightly, clearly indicating intense excitement.
Now that the progenitor has been resurrected, Abraham dares not show the slightest sign of anything amiss.
But none of these Fifth-Generation Vampire who released Norton right under their noses will get away with it!
"How many years? How many years! I, Abraham, have only enjoyed five hundred years of good times. Although I have fallen into a period of dormancy, it has been a blissful dormancy."
Now that I've awakened, I suddenly realize that the terrifying progenitor has also revived... I'd rather I hadn't awakened at all!
Abraham was devastated.
To be honest, he was full of grievances.
Back then, when the Progenitor was sealed away by Kuba, he was initially filled with anxiety, even going so far as to cooperate with the Church to ensure, both overtly and covertly, that Norton could not be resurrected.
Although he did indeed enjoy five hundred years of carefree living without any interference, a towering mountain always loomed over his head, making it hard for him to breathe for those five hundred years. While enjoying supreme power, he was filled with fear of the ancestor's resurrection. He would even wake up in his coffin every day in a nightmare, dreaming that someone had released the ancestor Norton from his seal!
Even when he felt his body gradually weakening, losing energy, and entering a state of dormancy, Abraham, out of excessive fear of His Progenitor, never considered releasing Him to recover.
Although Norton never killed any of his men, nor did he enslave or torture Abraham in any way, for some reason, Norton always filled Abraham with immense fear, and one had to be on high alert whenever he was around him!
The exhaustion and fear he experienced made him think that going into hibernation would be far better than staying by the Ancestor's side!
But now, all of that is destroyed!!!
As Abraham's gaze swept over them, the Vampire, struggling against the sun and teetering on the edge of life and death, trembled with fear.
Gejin, who was initially the most arrogant, is now like a wild dog, crawling on all fours, pulling at the palace, using the shadows of the surrounding Vampire to shield himself from the sunlight.
An overwhelming fear arose within him; he, Gejin, had never experienced such terror since birth.
"So, it turns out... there was an ancestor above the progenitor, and an ancestor above the progenitor's ancestor... and now, besides the progenitor, there is actually a true Your Majesty!"
Such a terrifying progenitor, who had even transcended human form, spoke with such fear and flattery towards that Your Majesty. What divine power must that Your Majesty possess?
Why can't I Gejin, have such a status?
The aura and blood purity of the surrounding Vampire pressed down on Gejin, forcing him to kneel on the ground, too afraid to even raise his head.
Around him, one after another, Fifth-Generation Vampire burned to ashes under the sun, and he could only endure the burning of death in endless despair.
"Whoosh..." An endless gale swept in from afar.
"Boom!"
As a terrifying yet powerful aura drew ever closer, the giant bat pulling the iron chain shuddered and suddenly knelt down, even smashing two large craters into the ground.
And that holy cry, as if from God, carried far away on the howling wind.
"Abraham!"
