The Godfall War is one of the three great Cataclysm War recorded in later historical documents of the Southern Continent.
The remaining two are: one is the ' War of Holiness ' that led to the overthrow of the Holy Lord Empire by the Pale Holy See 1,500 years ago.
One is the ' War of Cataclysm ' launched by Norton during his last usurpation of power before the Godfall War.
Wars have never ceased in the Southern Continent. The reason why these three wars are listed separately and called the Cataclysm War is mainly because of their wide coverage, high casualty ratio, and far-reaching impact.
The Holiness War of the past shattered the Holy Lord Empire had lasted for countless years, ushering in a new era of imperial rule. It marked the end of divine authority and the beginning of imperial power, as well as the transition to the industrial age, and its influence was far-reaching.
Despite the passage of time, the casualty rate was not insignificant. According to historical documents and later statistics, more than half of the population of the Southern Continent, which numbered over a billion, was wiped out by this War of Holiness. This War of Cataclysm has been unjustifiably delayed, expanded in scale, repeatedly drawn into conflict, and has consumed lives.
In the past, the three members of the Supreme Council of the Holy Empire were all Vampire. All humans in the Holy Empire and even the Southern Continent were creations that the Pale God could completely control with a single thought. From this point of view alone, there was no need to start this war at all. The so-called power was entirely a matter of the Pale God's will.
In the end, the mutual tug-of-war resulted in the loss of over two hundred million lives.

The sheer number of deaths, the profound impact, and even the terror of the gods all mirrored the dark stars in the sky.
Therefore, in later history, this period of more than a hundred years, known as the ' Maria Age' or the ' Norton Age', is called the Dark Epoch!
