After the death of the Pale God, the Garden of Garden of Eden flourished.
All those with extraordinary power in the Southern Continent eventually vanished into the long river of history along with the collapse of Norton.
Historically, this was known as the ' Southern Continent Extinction '.
However, there were still tens of millions of pure-blooded humans left over from the Northern Continent. So after all the extraordinary beings had fallen asleep or perished, these people occupied the Southern Continent, preventing its Southern Continent from being wiped out.
Therefore, the Garden of Eden ultimately belonged to humankind.
Although humanity has never ceased to wage war, regimes have changed hands constantly, the death toll has never decreased, and oppression and exploitation have never stopped, this turbulent environment is precisely the foundation upon which humanity has been able to thrive.
Only through struggle can there be progress. Only through death can there be new life.
This is the foundation for the prosperity of a race, but if the burden falls on an individual, far too many will drown in the long river of history.
Therefore, the question of whether individual happiness or the development of the community is more important remains unresolved.
But doesn't Norton deserve happiness?
The Milky Way twinkled in the dark night sky.
As the sun gradually fades into darkness day after day, the stars in the clear sky become increasingly rare.
Night is no longer the dominant theme of Garden of Eden. Although the Milky Way is revealing itself for less time, it hangs in the sky all the time, seemingly hiding the most poignant and beautiful secrets of the universe.
With the further advancement of technology in Garden of Eden, astronomy began to emerge as a completely new discipline.
Every day, a large number of students join, some because of childhood dreams, others because they want to explore the mysteries of the starry sky, and still others because they want to find the gods lost in the vast universe...
Without the Pale God, the Garden of Eden ultimately restored peace to human society.
When the most powerful nations no longer limited their sights to the ground, the vast cosmos naturally became their target for conquest.
For a time, the major empires of Garden of Eden competed with each other, vigorously developing their own space technology, hoping to truly transcend Garden of Eden and see the world outside of Garden of Eden.
The trend of space travel, along with the shift in national systems, began to sweep across civilization.
For a time, the works created by human imagination shone like a constellation of stars.
A flood of literary masterpieces about the universe, such as "I Have a Date with the Sun," "Extraterrestrial Civilization," "The World Behind the Moon," and "Aliens in Outer Space," completely ignited Garden of Eden's desire for space exploration.
Various films and television shows about the universe began to be adapted and released, and clothing, figurines, and even city decorations in various spacesuit styles began to spread.
In a world where gods truly exist, and who are certain to be lost in space, space travel is far more fascinating than Earth.
This trend even reached children, resulting in many songs about space.
The most famous of these is a children's song called "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
"Twinkle, twinkle, little star... how I wonder what you are... how I wonder what you are... hanging in the sky, shining brightly... like many little eyes~~~"
"It seems like there are many... small eyes!"
No one knows that there are indeed many people with small eyes in this world.
Or perhaps, in the entire universe, wherever every speck of dust resides, there is a gaze upon it!
Indifferent, ruthless, even unable to muster thought, it simply watches silently, watching the development of humankind, watching the wind blow, watching the stars burn out in space, watching tiny ants move their nests.
It even witnessed Abraham sacrificing his wife in the mythical era, the war between Norton and Jonah in the Godfall War, the end of time, the annihilation of the universe, and the endless loneliness and desolation that followed.
Norton's consciousness had become the true god he sought.
He floated quietly in the four-dimensional world, with everything laid bare before him, like a painting.
He seemed to have become the most basic particle that makes up the entire universe, or rather, the entire universe was him, Norton.
His consciousness was boundless, yet he possessed no emotions, no desires; he simply watched silently, until eternity...
It is said that Pangu's creation of heaven and earth was a form of death, but since all particles are composed of Pangu, isn't that also a form of eternal life?
Just like Norton today, it has already achieved the foundation of eternity...
Unfortunately, if he were Jonah, Shenyin, or even everyone in the Garden of Eden, he could have enjoyed such a path to godhood.
But alas, he was not born in the Garden of Eden.
His Soul Particle, which God could not create, merged into this eternity, just as oil is poured into water. They are not the same substance at all, and have no common origin. No matter what, they can never truly blend together.
Or rather, God would never allow a substance that He could not create to enter His own body.
"Beep..."
In the endless universe, there seems to be a tremor at the level of the soul, or perhaps the excretion of some kind of being.
The wispy, indescribable substance resembled a pile of dog excrement left in someone else's house, disgustingly shoveled away and discarded.
But no matter where it's thrown, this pile of dog poop is always in the house, which makes it even more disgusting.
Therefore, in order to prevent this stuff from spreading everywhere, the owner had to gather it up to avoid it splashing all over their house.
And so, the wisps and particles, like ethereal matter, that gaze fixed on the end of time, began to be gradually stripped away, allowing them to traverse the universe and converge, in order to cleanse away this disgusting thing...
Day after day, time passed.
In the blink of an eye, ten thousand years have passed.
