Outside the window, the morning sunlight filtered through a light mist like a fairy's gauzy ribbons. The green leaves looked even more vibrant in the sunlight,

"Hello, Sister Maya. Sorry for disturbing you," Honoka Mitsui said, bowing apologetically.

"All right, since you're Little Feng's classmates, you're very welcome here. You chat while I go prepare some fruit for you."
With that, Maya Yotsuba got up and left, but before she did, she bent down and whispered in Baifeng Uesugi's ear.

With that, Maya Yotsuba walked away, leaving Baifeng Uesugi staring after her in astonishment.
Watching Maya Yotsuba leave, Baifeng Uesugi smiled wryly to himself.
"Honoka, Shizuku, I've received your thanks. Was there anything else you came to see me about?" Baifeng Uesugi asked.
"No, we just came to thank you, that's all."
Honoka Mitsui shook her head.
"Well, since you're already here, why don't you stay for a meal? Sister Maya just said she was hungry, and I only just got back from buying ingredients."
Baifeng Uesugi said.
"Can we?" Shizuku Kitayama immediately asked.
Baifeng Uesugi stared at Shizuku Kitayama, a little surprised by how quickly she had responded.
"Um... can't we?" Shizuku Kitayama grew a little nervous under Baifeng Uesugi's gaze and spoke softly.
"Bai Feng, Shizuku has a hard time resisting food, so she got excited when she heard there was something to eat."

"Bai Feng, can't Sister Maya cook? I was curious from the start. Isn't it usually the girl who cooks at home?"
Honoka Mitsui asked in puzzlement.
"I've always been the one to cook. I can't help it, my cooking tastes good, and Sister Maya doesn't know the first thing about cooking."
Baifeng Uesugi explained.
"Oh, do you need our help, then? We both know a little about cooking."
Honoka Mitsui said.
"No need. Just sit here for a while. I'll call you when the food's ready," Baifeng Uesugi said.
He then turned and headed straight for the kitchen. He didn't know what Maya Yotsuba had done to the kitchen in the short time he'd been away.

Baifeng Uesugi hurried over and took the fruit from Maya Yotsuba's hands.
