The Unforgiven from Shinigami
Northwest.
Shiraishi looked in that direction, his gaze stretching to the horizon. He saw no one, but he knew that someone was rapidly approaching.
It will appear on the horizon in three or four seconds at most.
This brutal method of advancing makes one's Reiatsu detectable from a great distance; in the entire Seireitei, only one captain would do this.
According to Matsumoto, that guy should be in the East Rukongai District 31.
How did I end up here?
A question flashed through his mind, but Shiraishi didn't stay there. He used his Steel Tempest forward, giving Kūkaku Shiba a quick kiss on the cheek, and said with a smile, "I'll go check it out."
Touching the warmth on her cheek, Kūkaku Shiba, unusually, didn't say anything; she too had sensed the unusually violent Reiatsu.
Even from such a great distance, the Reishi seemed to be like an animal frantically fleeing for its life before an earthquake.
The Spiritual Sense perception was that the surroundings were shaking violently.
"What a ferocious fellow," Kūkaku Shiba muttered.
Ganju Shiba, who had been thrown back by the stone pillar, lay there and nodded, saying, "Indeed, kissing his sister in front of his innocent younger brother, brother-in-law is quite ferocious."
"Idiot, that's not what I meant! You go back to the door and stand there!"
Kūkaku Shiba shouted loudly. Luckily, they were outside and she was wearing shoes; if she were barefoot, she would have kicked her a couple of times.
Ganju Shiba asked in surprise, "Aren't you going to continue practicing?"
"Wait until you're strong enough to stand up straight before you spout such nonsense."
Kūkaku Shiba ignored his younger brother, his eyes piercing the wilderness, seemingly able to see through the horizon and reach dozens of miles away.
It was a large basin.
The vegetation is lush.
Without streams, there are no villages.
The villages in Rukongai are all built near water sources.
Shiraishi landed in the center of the basin, pure white feathers fluttered down, and the Reishi became increasingly frantic, presenting a scene of stillness.
Even the wind seemed to have stopped blowing.
Whew, Rangiku Matsumoto was a step behind him, her eyes fixed on the distance.
The stillness of the wind was suddenly broken, and a gust of wind came rushing in, blowing the short orange hair covering his ears.
Her pupils dilated, and the turbulent flow of Reishi formed small whirlwinds that swirled around the ground.
The tall figure stood five steps away, disheveled, with a demonic face that showed little expression, and a hideous scar standing out on his left cheek.
Such a face, once seen, will never be forgotten.
Rangiku Matsumoto, her usual nonchalant expression gone, stepped forward and said, " Captain Zaraki, weren't you in the East Rukongai District 31?"
"Tsk," Kenpachi Zaraki muttered in displeasure upon seeing her.
What a miscalculation! I didn't expect the vice-captain of the Tenth Division to be here as well.
It seems that Ichimaru's plan to pretend he didn't know anything has fallen through.
Well, whatever.
He had been chasing the Oniyasha over a month, and his patience had long since reached its limit; to hell with rules.
Right now, all I want to do is either kill someone or get killed.
"Those boring missions are for Ichimaru and the others to handle; I have no interest in them. I only want to fight you."
Kenpachi Zaraki pointed at Shiraishi, a ferocious smile spreading across his face. "Last time, and the time before that, we were stopped. This time, let's fight to our hearts' content."
Rangiku Matsumoto gasped, still trying to stop him, " Captain Zaraki, attacking a captain without permission is a serious violation of the Seireitei's rules!"
" Matsumoto, you don't need to be so nervous."
Shiraishi patted her shoulder with a smile and said, " Zaraki just wants to fight me, it's nothing serious."
Men, after all, need to express their feelings through swords and blades.
Stay away from me.
"Captain!" Rangiku Matsumoto's expression flashed with worry, but knowing she couldn't control a battle of this level, she said helplessly, "Please be careful, I don't want to attend your funeral."
"Haha, you really underestimated me."
Shiraishi touched his nose.
Normally, he would have no interest in this kind of battle.
The situation has changed; what Infinity said...
The thought flashed through his mind: what wasn't crazy enough? What wasn't calm enough?
He couldn't understand how those two opposing emotions could blend together, so he decided to try a different approach and examine them one by one.
He didn't yet know how to remain calm.
Madness, what could be more insane than battle?
Moreover, his opponent is Kenpachi Zaraki, making him the most suitable candidate.
" Yachiru, you may also step down."
Kenpachi Zaraki's expression grew increasingly pleased, as he was able to fight without violating the rules of the Seireitei.
That would definitely be the best.
"Hi," Yachiru Kusajishi chuckled, leaping off Matsumoto Rangiku's shoulder with her Zanpakuto in hand, then wrapping her arms around Rangiku Matsumoto's neck, " Rangiku-chan ~"
" Yachiru..." Rangiku Matsumoto felt somewhat helpless towards the little girl. Shunpo to leave the center of the basin and landed at the edge, looking at the two black dots below from afar.
Shiraishi doesn't have Shikai, so if you want to experience the madness, using skill-based fighting methods or ending things quickly is clearly not an option.
Only through beast-like battles can one experience that ultimate madness.
"Aren't you Shikai?" Kenpachi Zaraki asked.
Shiraishi drew his sword and laughed, "You talk as if you 'Shikai."
Kenpachi Zaraki grinned and said loudly, "That's true, it doesn't matter. As long as you're strong enough, nothing else matters."
As soon as he finished speaking, Kenpachi Zaraki suddenly tore through the air, closing in like a Flash. His pockmarked blade, carrying a strong smell of blood, slashed down at him before the air could even whistle.
A hint of surprise flashed in Shiraishi's eyes. He didn't choose to dodge, but instead gripped his sword with one hand to block.
Boom!
The blades clashed, their Reiatsu colliding like two high-speed trains crashing together, the invisible impact transforming into a gust of wind that spread outwards.
Rangiku Matsumoto hurriedly covered her eyes with her hands, her hair and sleeves fluttering wildly, making her sway unsteadily.
"Haha, Ken-chan looks very happy."
Yachiru Kusajishi remained unaffected by the wind, looking down with a smile on her face.
The two below were locked in a stalemate.
Gradually, Kenpachi Zaraki's sword moved downwards, and the surging Reiatsu was like wave after wave.
Shiraishi was finding it hard to keep up, cursing inwardly, "Damn, this guy is even stronger than the last time we met."
This move was definitely a bit overconfident.
Realizing his miscalculation, he quickly used his Steel Tempest to pass through Kenpachi Zaraki's body, but instead of following up with the Steel Tempest, he created some distance between them.
Kenpachi Zaraki turned around, puzzled, and said, "That's strange. Your Zanpakuto doesn't even have Shikai, yet you can use this technique? Oh well, that makes it more interesting!"
"Double the critical hits, Infinity!"
Shiraishi decides to use his Shikai and activate his skill.
The unremarkable blade was covered in a layer of gold, and even the hilt was inlaid with magnificent gemstones.
His black hair turned silver, and his Shihakushō and Captain's Haori were transformed into modern attire.
Kenpachi Zaraki laughed, "That's what makes it interesting!"
