The Unforgiven from Shinigami
bite.
The knife shattered into pieces.
The cold, sharp glint of the blade never ceased.
Shiraishi hurriedly retreated, but was a step too slow; a gash was slashed across his abdomen. "Stop!"
The knife was pressed against my neck, and the chill seemed to seep into my skin.
"You still have a long way to go," Infinity said, sheathing his sword.
Shiraishi let out a heavy sigh, looking utterly frustrated. "Uh, why can't I sense the sword's presence?"
"Because you're neither crazy enough nor calm enough."
Infinity repeats the reminders from these past few days.
Madness and calmness?
Is it truly possible for two diametrically opposed states to merge together?
Shiraishi was filled with doubt, yet knew he wouldn't get any answers; the Infinity hints were limited to this.
"See you next hour," he said, withdrawing from his mental world.
After so many days of exploration, he has come to understand that if he continues to fight in the mental world, his condition will only get worse and worse.
Only by relaxing and resting after a failure can you better prepare for the next one.
Otherwise, if he gets agitated and irritable, his chances of success will be even lower.
Shiraishi opened his eyes.
"Lord Shiraishi, there are guests outside."
Koganehiko, who was fanning himself, said something.
Shiroganehiko brought over a bowl of chilled mung bean soup.
Shiraishi took the mung bean soup, gulped it down, and extended his Spiritual Sense, noticing a familiar Reiatsu. "Huh, didn't my Denreishinki go off?"
Koganehiko Kaidō, "Yes, I had Kūkaku He pick them up, and then your guest arrived."
"Uh, I forgot."
Shiraishi slapped his forehead, having thoroughly tormented that lousy Go player Ganju a few times, before throwing himself into Bankai training, leaving the Captains' Meeting behind.
He quickly got up from the wicker chair, opened the sliding door, and strode into the dimly lit corridor.
The sunlight outside was blinding.
Shiraishi squinted, and after a moment, he could see clearly the two women standing in the shadow of the stone arm. He didn't know what they were saying, but they were laughing happily.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Matsumoto."
Shiraishi called out from afar.
The two women stopped talking and turned around at the same time.
"Wait!" Shiraishi shouted, stopping them and strode forward.
Seeing his anxiety, Kūkaku Shiba asked with some confusion, "Is there a problem?"
"Well, how should I put it?" Shiraishi rubbed his chin, looking thoughtful. "After repeated measurements, Matsumoto's is still the biggest. Come to my room tonight, and let's keep trying."
Kūkaku Shiba's face flushed red, and he raised his hand to deliver a punch.
Shiraishi didn't dodge, deliberately taking the punch, "Ouch, I've got a bump on my head."
"Serves you right, you pervert, what are you thinking about all day?" She glared at him fiercely, realizing that the punch had no effect.
This guy has recently developed a new tactic: causing trouble during the day to get her to scold him severely, then turning the tables at night.
This made her apologize for the scolding she received during the day.
Damn it, I shouldn't have been so soft-hearted in the first place. I thought the scolding was too much, so I secretly went over to apologize that night, and then...
It got out of control.
Kūkaku Shiba sighed and said, "You guys chat first, I'll go keep an Ganju so he doesn't slack off."
Rangiku Matsumoto smiled and said, "Actually, it wouldn't be a problem if you stayed."
We're already so familiar with each other.
"No, I'll definitely help you with your business without hesitation, but I have absolutely no interest in knowing anything about the Shinigami Reaper."
Kūkaku Shiba waved and stepped out of the shadow of the stone arm into the sunlight.
Rangiku Matsumoto didn't continue to stop her. After watching her walk away, she smiled knowingly and said, "No wonder you never go back to Seireitei. You're out having a good time outside."
Shiraishi said irritably, "Watch your words. Kūkaku and I are in a completely innocent boyfriend-girlfriend relationship."
"Oh, what about Nemu, Captain Soi Fon?"
Shiraishi said with a serious expression, "I just wanted to protect the beautiful flowers, what's wrong with that?"
"Tsk tsk," Rangiku Matsumoto had to admit, the captains of the Tenth Division were all incredibly shameless. "Alright, let's talk business. This Captains' Meeting is about Oniyasha."
Captain Kurotsuchi created Turtle Gas that could dull the brain, sealing off Oniyasha's forbidden techniques of Time Stop and Spatial Transfer.
Captain Aizen and Captain Tōsen escorted them to the East Rukongai District 31, where they joined Captain Kyōraku.
" Turtle Gas that dulls the brain."
Shiraishi felt somewhat wary, knowing that this thing might be used on him in the future.
If you have time, contact Nemu to learn more about what Turtle Gas is.
His relationship with Nemu was inseparable, while his relationship with Mayuri Kurotsuchi, while not exactly sworn enemies, was certainly one of direct confrontation.
It's always better to be careful.
However, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto really knows how to pick people, having Aizen and Tōsen escort Turtle Gas.
Did Aizen volunteer, or was he specifically chosen?
"Of course he takes the initiative. Captain Aizen isn't as irresponsible as some people. He's meticulous and responsible, handling most of the Fifth Division's work by himself. He's nicknamed the Dragon of Paperwork '."
Rangiku Matsumoto sighed deeply at this point, "I really envy Hinamori, having such a dedicated captain."
"Heh." Shiraishi chuckled, a thoughtful glint in his eyes. He had a feeling that Aizen's actions this time weren't so simple; was he deliberately leaving Seireitei to secretly plot something?
Rangiku Matsumoto mistook his deep thought for daydreaming. "I say, Captain Shiraishi, shouldn't you go back to the Tenth Division barracks to put everyone's minds at ease?"
Shiraishi snapped out of his daze, spread his hands, and said, "Didn't I say there was still work to do outside? We'll talk about it after we finish that. Besides, I don't have anything to do when I get back."
"You could at least change the order and let Hitsugaya be in charge of all the team's affairs."
Rangiku Matsumoto revealed the true purpose of her trip, explaining that she had previously been able to use her position as vice-captain to work flexibly.
When I feel like doing something, I help Hitsugaya with some of the work.
When I don't feel like working, I'll take out the hidden liquor in broad daylight and enjoy a few sips.
Those were the days when life was incredibly carefree.
Things changed when Shiraishi took office and casually suggested that the two of them work together.
Those carefree days are gone. With her workload increasing, she can no longer find the opportunity to drink during the day.
Tōshirō Hitsugaya treated those words as an order, assigning her a daily workload.
Even if it's not a lot, it can be done in just two or three hours.
But she was easily distracted. After working for only a few minutes, she would look at the clouds in the sky, listen to the cicadas chirping in the yard, or think about the newly opened kimono shop.
It's almost time to get off work.
However, before she could even process the documents, she felt like a primary school student realizing on the last day of summer vacation that they hadn't done their summer homework, and she rushed to finish it.
The mental exhaustion she experienced during that period led her to drown her sorrows in alcohol. After drinking too much, she felt unwell in her stomach and head in the mornings, and she didn't want to work, creating a vicious cycle.
"This is all your fault. You need to take full responsibility."
"Turn down."
Shiraishi put on the airs of an acting captain.
" Shiraishi- kun~"
When Rangiku Matsumoto's forceful approach failed, she quickly switched to a softer one, clasping her hands tightly and speaking in a gentle, seductive tone, "Can you bear to watch this beautiful flower like me wither away day by day?"
Good heavens, that tone made Shiraishi's bones melt. While he hesitated, the surrounding Reishi became extremely violent.
Something is approaching this place.
