The Unforgiven from Shinigami

A hint of doubt arose in Retsu Unohana's heart. Trusting Shiraishi, she twisted her feet on the roof ridge and Shunpo to a branch of a tree in the northwest, forming a separate stance.

The branch swayed slightly, the withered leaves fluttered, and her eyes were fixed on Aizen's corpse.

Two figures appeared there.

One of them had long, silver hair covering her ears, a somewhat pointed face, and a smiling expression; she looked exactly like a vixen reincarnated.

A person wearing silver goggles and with dreadlocks.

" Captain Ichimaru, Captain Tōsen..."

Retsu Unohana sensed something was amiss; if she was supposed to be supporting a colleague, her expression was rather strange.

"Oh dear, Captain Aizen, are you alright?"

Gin Ichimaru lowered his head, seemingly asking with concern, but in his heart he was already pondering whether this distance could completely kill Aizen.

It's alright.

Aizen answered in a magnetic voice, still savoring the fear that had surged within him earlier.

All thoughts were banished, and his mind was solely focused on avoiding the attack. Only in that state could he manage to dodge Hōgyoku's slashes with the Shiraishi.

Otherwise, the Hōgyoku would very likely be destroyed by that powerful Reiatsu.

Aizen's fragmented body and blood seemed to be replayed in reverse in a movie, returning to their original state, except for his glasses which had fallen to the ground.

"I sensed some special power within you during our exchange; you're definitely not so easy to kill."

Shiraishi's expression was serious.

When the blades clashed and they were very close, he sensed a power different from Aizen's Reiatsu and suspected it was the Hōgyoku.

"This is the Hōgyoku."

Aizen explained gently, a pallor spreading from his fingertips throughout his body, like a latex suit covering him, with only the Hōgyoku on his chest showing, "Its power can break the limits of Hollows and Shinigami."

" Shiraishi, I must thank you for the fear you instilled in me, otherwise it would have taken me much longer to fuse with the Hōgyoku."

At this point, Aizen estimated the time; it should be about right.

He had previously assigned Kaname Tōsen a task.

To prevent his potential exposure, and then how to safely evacuate Seireitei.

To be honest, he never imagined that he would be forced to use this backup plan.

It was only set up as a precaution, and we didn't actually intend to use it.

"I wanted to chat a little longer, but unfortunately, we don't have time now."

Smack

A square of light fell to the ground, enveloping Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, and Kaname Tōsen Tōsen.

Pale, bony claws emerged from the light, then slid downwards, revealing a massive Garganta in the azure sky.

Bone hands clung to the edge, and a dozen or so Gillian emerged from within. Deeper still, a large eye gazed silently into the distance.

This breathtaking scene could be seen throughout the entire Seireitei.

"What's going on?" "There are so many Gillian!" " Negación, who are the Menos Grande rescuing?"

A large chunk of ground slowly rose up.

Aizen stood at the edge of the rock, looking at the several additional figures in the courtyard, his deep blue eyes filled with coldness.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Shiraishi shouted, "Aizen, you made Hirako Hollowfied, framed Urahara Kisuke, and researched Hollowfication yourself. Do you still want to deny it?"

" Shiraishi, don't think too highly of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto."

Aizen replied, "He already knows who the real culprit is."

I failed to frame Kyōraku, and the play where I witnessed the master and apprentice killing each other was all ruined by your unauthorized intrusion.

This is not a good habit; I hope you can be more patient next time.

I have no patience for men, except for beautiful women.

Shiraishi shrugged, a shrill roar echoing in his ears.

" Tōsen!"

Sajin Komamura, stepping on a broken roof tile, saw his close friend behind Aizen. Shocked, he was then overcome with rage. "Get down here, Tōsen!"

Have you forgotten your dead friends? Have you forgotten the justice you upheld?

" Komamura, I've said it before: what I see with my eyes is always the path with the least sacrifice."

Breaking his silence, Kaname Tōsen, facing his close friend's outcry, seemed to be trying to persuade the other person, or perhaps to convince himself, firmly emphasized. "The path I have chosen is the path of justice."

A fallen, withered yellow leaf was stepped on by a straw sandal, and long silver hair swayed slightly.

Jūshirō Ukitake looked up. He had expected this, but seeing it with his own eyes still made him feel regretful. "Why did you join forces with the Menos Grande?"

Aizen lowered his eyes, sensing that the Soul King power contained within Jūshirō Ukitake was far beyond what mere fragments could compare to. "To pursue a higher realm."

Jūshirō Ukitake said with a solemn expression, " Aizen, you've actually fallen to this level."

" Ukitake, you are too arrogant."

Cracks appeared on Aizen's otherwise pristine face. "No one was born standing in the heavens."

"Whether it's you, me, or even God."

Pieces of pure white shattered and fell away, revealing his handsome features, his long brown hair obscuring his vision.

"But this unbearable vacancy on the King of Heaven is about to end."

Aizen tossed his long hair back, his expression radiant, "From this day forward, I will stand in the heavens."

Shiraishi looked up, thinking that it was probably too late to urge Isshin Shiba a baby now.

"Goodbye, fellow Shinigami, and Shiraishi. I look forward to more surprises from you when we meet again."

Aizen into the Garganta.

Closed at both ends.

The sky returned to its azure blue.

That terrifying Reiatsu completely disappeared from Seireitei.

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto turned his gaze from the air to Shiraishi, scratching his cheek as he said, "Shouldn't you give me an explanation?"

Shiraishi turned to Jūshirō Ukitake and said, "Hey, what did you tell me back then? I don't want to do this anymore, so tell that arrogant and stubborn old man the truth."

"This... I'm sorry, it was my mistake."

Jūshirō Ukitake looked somewhat embarrassed, realizing that he was venting his dissatisfaction.

Why the dissatisfaction?

The investigation has likely been exposed.

"Let me explain."

Retsu Unohana Shunpo from the tree branch to get here, seemingly trying to smooth things over, "Actually, when the Hakutōmon was damaged, Shiraishi had already approached me..."

The Espada, Las Noches, Aizen summons Adjuchas to prepare for war, and she says everything that needs to be said.

"... This time I acted without authorization. If I have done anything wrong, please punish me Captain-Commander Yamamoto."

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto shook his head and said, "It's alright. I'm granting you the authority to adapt to changing circumstances. Are there many Adjuchas gathered at Las Noches?"

"I wiped out over a thousand of them. Whether Aizen will take the time to gather them again is hard to say."

Shiraishi did not remain silent this time.

The original plot has been completely deviated from.

Aizen created the Hōgyoku himself, which might happen around the end of August when the order to prepare for war is issued.

Now that they've been forced to retreat ahead of schedule, it's unclear when they'll attack Seireitei.

His original plan was to kill Aizen before he could fully develop his abilities.

The calculation backfired.

"Thousands?" Jūshirō Ukitake was shocked by this number; a single Adjuchas could cause heavy casualties among the soldiers.

Thousands of Adjuchas —the sight was simply unimaginable.

Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's face was ashen; he was not afraid of thousands of Adjuchas, and could kill tens of thousands.

The problem is that Seireitei cannot withstand such a massive power.

Is the Seireitei, which he created with his own hands, destined to be destroyed by his own hand?
