The Unforgiven Shinigami, Chapter Thirteen: The Message Left by Kisuke Urahara, May 9th.
Late spring.
The air gradually became somewhat warm.
Hun stood on the watchtower, looking ahead through binoculars. Realizing something was wrong, he called down, "Big sister! It seems we've taken the wrong path; we can't go any further."
Rukia leaped back, sweat beading on her forehead, and turned to say, "Is that so? So we're already here. Captain Shiraishi, let's pause training for now."
Shiraishi kicked Ichigo Kurosaki and said, "Oh, then let's rest. Is there anything ahead?"
"There's a very large cliff ahead."
Rukia replied, "A wind is blowing from below. We'll ride that wind to an island in the sky, then jump off the island and use the Kidō technique) to cushion the fall, so we can land safely."
"Hey, this method sounds really dangerous. Are you sure it's okay?"
Ichigo Kurosaki got up from the ground, patted his butt, and said.
"I have experience, so feel free to go for it."
Rukia wasn't worried at all, and the others couldn't say anything. They returned to the house and continued on their way.
The creaking of gears, the sound of white steam billowing from three swaying chimneys, and the thud of steel claws hitting the ground were all drowned out by an even louder noise.
That was the sound of the wind.
A strong wind rose from the bottom, like the roar of the wind god, and the sound echoed throughout the world.
Shiraishi stood atop the watchtower, looking out over the raging winds, where a vast expanse of inky darkness covered everything.
This cliff is quite high.
Ichigo Kurosaki swallowed hard. "Are you sure this house is okay? I feel like it'll fall apart if a gust of wind blows through it."
" Ichigo, you have to have faith in this house."
Shiraishi's eyes lit up; she found this method of travel very interesting. " Sky Island, haha, that sounds like a real adventure!"
"Yes~" Orihime Inoue chimed in, quite intrigued by the island in the sky. What could be on it?
Fire-breathing dragons, futuristic cyborgs, angels...
There were so many things she could imagine that made her eager to go up and see for herself.
There was nothing on top of it, just a stone standing in the middle.
Rukia's casual remark about the scenery shattered Orihime Inoue's illusions, causing her to instantly deflate and say, " Kuchiki, you don't have to say things like that."
"Oh." Rukia didn't understand what was wrong with her detailed explanation.
Shiraishi's enthusiasm also waned considerably, as if someone had spoiled the whole thing. He casually said, "Oh well, since it's already out in the open, I'll just go up there, take a look, carve 'I was here' before I leave."
The bronze-colored part of the house, which protruded over the cliff, was directly lifted up by the strong wind and rushed upwards.
"Whoa!" Ichigo Kurosaki cried out, gripping the railing tightly to avoid being thrown off.
The soul rolled straight into the house.
The strong winds lifted the houses high into the clouds.
There is a bare island here, with a large rock standing in the center of the island.
Shiraishi out of the house, swung his sword downwards, and the gale below stopped abruptly. Taking advantage of this lull, he kicked the side of the house and landed on the island.
They arrived immediately, supported the bottom, and gently placed it on the ground to prevent this cobbled-together behemoth from falling apart.
"Phew, landed successfully." Ichigo Kurosaki wiped the sweat from his forehead. He was really startled just now, thinking the house was going to be destroyed.
"With me here, there's nothing to worry about," Shiraishi replied casually, taking the knife and walking forward, intending to carve the six characters "Shiraishi was here" on the stone in the center of the island.
Carving words on Sky Island is not a common occurrence.
If anyone else were to come here and see these words, they would be quite surprised.
A mischievous grin spread across his face as he raised his knife, ready to strike.
The stone split open on its own.
"?" Shiraishi was puzzled; before he could even bring his sword down, a light screen was pressed against his face. "Holy crap!"
He stepped back to avoid kissing her, and when he saw the person on the screen, his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
"Hello, Captain Shiraishi, Captain-Commander Yamamoto, it's been a long time."
The man wore a fisherman's hat, had a frivolous smile on his face, and held a folding fan.
"I think Ichigo Kurosaki should reunite with Rukia Kuchiki and Orihime Inoue and bring them back from Hueco Mundo. Their journey here must have been exhausting."
As Kisuke Urahara spoke, he fired a ceremonial cannon. "By the way, this is a recording, so Mr. Shiraishi's insults won't reach my ears."
"You bastard."
Shiraishi stopped speaking; he had originally wanted to question the other party about why it had taken so long to locate Hueco Mundo, but now he couldn't utter a single word.
Cursing at someone through a recording is a waste of energy.
Ichigo Kurosaki asked in astonishment, "How did Urahara- san know I could meet Rukia?"
"And me." Orihime Inoue also looked puzzled. She had thought it was her brother's decision, but could it be related to the man in front of her?
"Although you have many questions, the recording time is limited, so I won't say anything irrelevant. Please look at the bottom left corner."
The stone cracked open again, revealing a cool-looking red motorcycle inside.
"This is a spiritual tool I made for Captain-Commander Yamamoto so that he can free the other sealed captains. It only requires the Captain-Commander's Reiatsu to activate, and the dashboard will display the location of the most recent captain's seal."
The motorcycle's trunk connects to another dimension and can store food.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto raised a white eyebrow, his mind filled with many questions. The sealed captains?
"Fifteen years ago, we suffered another crushing defeat. Ichibē Hyōsube and some captains were sealed away by Aizen and abandoned in various parts of the Old Land. I was lucky enough to escape."
Kisuke Urahara began with a brief explanation, "I realized that this is Aizen's last chance for us. If we fail again, he will wipe us all out."
So I didn't rush to rescue you, but waited for the new generation to grow up and for Yhwach to awaken.
Only by combining all forces can there be a possibility of defeating Aizen.
"Absurd!" Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto rebuked him without caring that it was a recording.
The Quincy and the Shinigami are mortal enemies, and Yhwach's personality is extremely brutal; how could the two possibly cooperate?
"However, it is difficult to persuade those stubborn Quincy."
If you see this video and I'm not there recording your shocked expressions, please come to Silbern immediately. That's all.
The recording ends here.
Shiraishi didn't notice Kisuke Urahara's Reiatsu here. "That guy knew he was going to be captured, yet he still went to Silbern without even explaining who the sealed captains were. He's just asking for trouble."
"The reason I specifically activated my Reiatsu instead of choosing you is because I wanted you to accompany them to Silbern."
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, seeing things very clearly, asked, "What do you plan to do?"
Shiraishi shrugged and said, "We'll have to split up. You go rescue the captain of the sealed group, and Ichigo and the Ichigo will go to Silbern."
