The Unforgiven in Shinigami, Chapter 46: Ulquiorra Attacks, Aizen's Name Possesses Magical Power.
Even Emilou's fiery temper managed to swallow the profanities that were about to come out of her mouth and didn't say a word.
"Hmm," Ulquiorra gave up on confessing his feelings to Emilou; for him, Aizen's orders took the highest priority.
More important than anything else.
Because that being is the only one capable of giving meaning to this meaningless world.
He wasn't the only one who thought this way; many Arrancar thought the same.
With his hands in his pockets, he didn't walk over slowly; instead, he disappeared from the library.
The next second, his foot landed on the wooden corridor.
This is the heart of the Pantheon, and the massive fortress visible through the library's floor-to-ceiling windows.
Its name is the Hall of the Divine Court.
Ulquiorra stood on the top floor, pulled his right hand out of his pocket, and pushed open the door in front of him.
It was very spacious inside.
The central protrusion requires climbing three steps, above which stands a blank white wall.
A stone chair, shaped like a teacup but missing a side, is placed in front of a white wall.
Aizen sat on it, his attire now more casual than before.
Her long brown hair fell loosely, and she wore a white robe that revealed her right shoulder. Around her neck was a necklace made of long gold pieces.
In his eyes, there seemed to be a pale cross. " Ulquiorra, go to the lower realm and check on Urahara and the others in the Dark Forest for me."
An impenetrable darkness shrouded the forest, while the stone lanterns standing at the entrance emitted a faint orange glow, resisting the invasion of darkness.
Even the slightest footsteps can be heard clearly here.
A person carrying two large food boxes burst into the lighted area and easily passed through the barrier at the doorway.
boom!
The silence vanished, replaced by a deafening roar. A hurricane, generated by the collision of Reiatsu, swept upwards, billowing the pale white cloak.
Small Bookstore
"Is this... Ichigo's Reiatsu?"
She murmured to herself, quickening her pace as she descended to the bottom floor, turning a corner to look towards the underground training grounds.
It's spacious and bright here.
Above, a false ceiling; on the brown earth, the fierce battle had come to an end.
The Visored on the orange-haired boy's face shattered, revealing his true face, and his Reiatsu plummeted.
A moment of lapse in concentration allowed his opponent to seize the opportunity, the blade slicing open his chest in a blurry line, blood splattering onto the ground.
His childlike pupils trembled, almost dissipating.
"I refuse the Sōten Kisshun."
An oval-shaped light enveloped his body, and the girl rushed over, " Kurosaki- kun, are you alright?"
"Hmm," Ichigo Kurosaki spat out a mouthful of blood, looked up at the beautiful captain with flowing black hair in front of him, and said with admiration, " Captain Unohana, you're amazing! I've never beaten you even once."
It's not that I'm better; it's always you who deliberately makes yourself weaker.
Retsu Unohana did not show any smugness; her face was serious. This was the first time she had encountered an opponent with such unstable Reiatsu.
The strength of her Reiatsu is entirely determined by her emotions, fluctuating wildly, with an upper limit exceeding her own and a lower limit so low that even the Fifth Seat might not be able to match it.
No wonder Kisuke Urahara and Shiraishi both had high hopes for Ichigo Kurosaki.
How wonderful it would be if we could consistently maintain a high level of performance.
"I really don't understand why my Hollowfication only lasts for four seconds."
Ichigo Kurosaki scratched his head, looking rather dejected.
"Don't be discouraged. No matter which man, the initial period is always short."
A crisp sound came from behind.
The familiar voice made Ichigo Kurosaki freeze, and he slowly turned his head, his eyes reflecting a very beautiful older sister.
She had black hair, a white towel wrapped around her head, and wore a cool red outfit with a light white cloak draped over her shoulders.
"Sora, Kūkaku?!"
Ichigo Kurosaki looked like he'd seen a ghost. His sister's bloodline suppression forced him to sit up straight, ignoring the wound on his chest.
Orihime Inoue noticed that he was trembling and wondered, "Is this Miss Kūkaku really that terrifying?"
Soul, oblivious to his unusual behavior, was drawn to two bowling balls hidden beneath a red cloth. "Hello, Kūkaku, I'm Soul~"
The lion plush toy leaps forward with astonishing power, wanting to experience the last remaining warmth in the world.
Kūkaku Shiba put down the food box, grabbed the lion doll's face with one hand, and said with a forced smile, "If you stuffed a firework into this cute lion doll's mouth and sent it flying into the sky, it would definitely bloom into a beautiful flower."
"!" Soul's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He was so frightened that he lost all lust and hurriedly said, "It's a misunderstanding, it's all a misunderstanding, Ichigo, please save me!"
Ichigo Kurosaki was no longer concerned about his soul; he had already prepared himself mentally when Kisuke Urahara said he was going to bring his family over.
This is way too fast!
What I said yesterday, I'll do today.
His mental preparations were barely in place, not even a proper bunker yet. " Kūkaku Konghe, long time no see, you're still as beautiful as ever."
"Haven't seen you for a while, and your taste in women has improved."
Kūkaku Shiba treated the souls like trash, tossing them aside and saying with a grin, "I brought you food, enjoy your meal."
"?" Ichigo Kurosaki was shocked. Was this still the unreasonable, Riot Games -wielding Kūkaku he remembered?
" Kūkaku Konghe, you're not planning to ambush me while I'm eating, are you?"
"Eh," Kūkaku Shiba sighed, extending his right hand, startling him into closing his eyes and awaiting the iron fist called love.
Kūkaku Shiba didn't hit him. Instead, she gently ruffled his spiky orange hair and said tenderly, "Silly boy, I'm just happy to see you're alright. Don't disappear like that again next time."
" Kūkaku Kukaku..." Ichigo Kurosaki's face showed an extremely surprised expression. He didn't know his cousin was so gentle. He lowered his eyes and said, "I'm sorry for leaving home without permission and causing you trouble."
Ishida didn't bring it back either; Mr. Urahara said he had another mission there.
"I know, let's not talk about these things. You should eat your food."
Kūkaku Shiba patted his head and then walked towards Retsu Unohana.
Orihime Inoue leaned closer and whispered, " Kurosaki- kun, Kūkaku- san is different from what you described. She seems so gentle."
"To be honest, I was surprised too."
Ichigo Kurosaki replied that he had expected to be Riot Games, and perhaps he didn't know his family as well as he thought.
Seeing that the wound on his chest had healed, he opened the lid of the food box.
"Huh? I wonder where Kisuke Urahara went?"
A surprised shout came from behind, Ichigo Kurosaki suddenly felt a chill run down his spine, freezing in place.
He dared not turn around, for fear that if he did, he would see the sights of Hell.
The raging Reiatsu transformed into a roaring tigress, intently watching his every move.
Guh-dong, Ichigo Kurosaki swallowed hard.
I told you not to swallow your saliva while eating!
Bang.
His Riot Games missed its mark, Ichigo Kurosaki rolled several times, cold sweat pouring down his face. "You're just looking for an excuse to beat me up to vent your anger, right?"
Do you have a problem with that?
Kūkaku Shiba stopped pretending. She originally intended to settle scores with Kisuke Urahara for luring Ichigo Kurosaki and Uryū Ishida out of the village without permission.
They said they wanted to save the world.
She understood this principle, of course. What really angered her was that Kisuke Urahara hadn't communicated with her at all, as if he was afraid she would interfere.
Uryū Ishida and Ichigo Kurosaki did the same; they didn't consult her at all beforehand.
Did you think she was the kind of unreasonable woman?
"If I can't find him, I'll beat you up first to vent my anger. How dare you leave the village without even saying goodbye."
Kūkaku Shiba clenched his Riot Games and said, " Yuzu couldn't find her brother and kept crying. Karin didn't say anything, but she was worried about you a lot too. How could you make such a cute girl cry? Don't you think you deserve to be hit?"
"..."
Ichigo Kurosaki fell silent, unsure how to respond, and scratched his head, saying, "I..."
Kūkaku Shiba, too lazy to listen to his explanation, Shunpo, intending to teach the brat a lesson, but suddenly stopped, "That Reiatsu?!"
She looked up, her face showing a hint of shock.
Retsu Unohana also stopped watching the spectacle and said with a serious expression, " Ulquiorra, the Fifth Blade Espada, I've fought him before, he's a troublesome guy."
Ichigo Kurosaki immediately rushed outside.
" Ichigo!" Kūkaku Shiba called out, a look of anxiety flashing across his face, "Is Aizen planning to attack prematurely?"
"If that were the case, it would be impossible to send him over."
Retsu Unohana rejected the idea, saying in a deep voice, "I'm afraid this is a test."
The outskirts of the Dark Forest.
Ulquiorra leaped out of the Garganta, hands in his pockets, head down, staring into the darkness before him, wondering where to begin his search.
"Let them come over anyway." He reached into his pocket with his right hand and pressed the red button.
In an instant, a silver blade flashed forward, taking advantage of the darkness.
Ulquiorra raised his hand and grasped the blade, the gust of wind ruffling his black hair. His eyes remained calm as he said, "Foolish. You think you can hurt me with your Shikai? Can't you even judge the enemy's strength?"
Shinigami, you've truly fallen to a low level.
As he finished speaking, Ulquiorra sensed the change in Reiatsu, released his grip on the blade, and leaped backward.
" Bankai: Baboon King Zabimaru!"
A crimson light flashed, and the blade transformed into a giant skull snake head, surrounded by bright red hair.
Beige snake-like joints coiled around the man.
Ulquiorra glanced at his hair color and age. " Red-Hair, looks to be in his twenties. May I ask, are you fifteen?"
"Huh? Are you blind? Who can grow into a man like me at fifteen?"
Renji Abarai retorted.
I think so too.
Ulquiorra didn't want any contact with anyone outside his target group; "Let them play with you."
"You." Renji Abarai wanted to ask more, but Tong Kong suddenly enlarged his eyes and looked up.
A powerful Reiatsu, in the double digits, seeped outwards from the dark cracks.
"You killed one of them, why wasn't that reported to Szayelaporro?"
Ulquiorra sensed something was wrong with the numbers. "You were indeed secretly plotting something detrimental to Lord Aizen."
"What a persistent fellow."
