Shinigami the Unforgiven, Chapter 58: Gin Ichimaru's Trick! Bang!

The orange Lightshield showed signs of weakening under the continuous attack, but it still stubbornly held on.

The figure in front of her suddenly disappeared. She realized something was wrong; the Lightshield had become soft and rolled to the side.

Winter, winter, winter.

Several afterimages appeared in different directions.

Which one is the original body?

As Orihime Inoue pondered this, her slender neck was gripped tightly by a pale hand, and the hollow Reiatsu seemed to seep into every part of her body through her pores.

"You're still too slow."

Ulquiorra commented, releasing his grip. His pale, handsome face remained largely expressionless. "That's all for today."

"Yes." Orihime Inoue replied with her head bowed. Having lived here for more than a month, she was gradually getting used to the way things were here.

Every day, she practices fighting against Ulquiorra, but it's really just her constantly defending.

The attack couldn't hit them at all.

Even so, she couldn't hold out for long; she would usually be defeated in a few minutes or a dozen minutes.

Ulquiorra's spinning speed is so fast that he can always find her weakness and strike her down.

This is still the Fifth Blade.

Above them are four even stronger Espada, and above them are Gin Ichimaru, the commander of the Divine Realm, Sōsuke Aizen.

Orihime Inoue began to doubt whether her side could win this war.

Mr. Shiraishi was very strong, and so was Grandpa Genryūsai.

But the Ulquiorra in front of her gave her the feeling that he was no less than those two. Perhaps she was too weak, which led her to make such a judgment.

This is the fact she sincerely hopes for.

"I'm going to the Great Spirit Book Library, are you coming?"

Ulquiorra asked a question.

Orihime Inoue nodded and said, "I'll go."

"Let's go then."

Ulquiorra replied in a casual tone, putting his hand on her shoulder, and a Sonído the corridor outside the library.

He paused, released his hand from Orihime Inoue's shoulder, and instead pushed open the front door.

The late summer sun was still blazing, making the huge floor-to-ceiling window gleam.

In the sweltering area, a stunning blonde sat there, her brown skin seemingly glowing.

Their eyes met.

Ulquiorra immediately looked away.

Tier Harribel held up the book, "The Forbidden Love Between Shinigami and the Arrancar," her emerald green eyes narrowing slightly. Was it because she'd been reading too much romance lately?

I have a feeling that there's something off about Ulquiorra and that human girl.

I've never seen Ulquiorra clock in and out to the Great Spirit Book Library every day before.

She thought about it and felt that this possibility was unlikely.

That's Ulquiorra.

The Espada were chosen not only because of their strength, but also because of the significance they represent.

Loneliness, aging, sacrifice, nothingness, despair, destruction, ecstasy, madness, greed, anger.

The selection of the new Espada requires meeting the above conditions.

This is an unspoken rule in Aizen's selection process.

Ulquiorra represents nothingness; how could an Arrancar without a heart possibly develop any meaningful feelings for a human girl?

She lowered her eyes and continued reading this love story set against opposing sides. Unlike others, this book delved into the entanglements and real-world conflicts between the female and male protagonists.

Loyalty and emotion sway between the scales.

Tier Harribel felt deeply moved by what she read, and she would come here almost every day after work to read the book.

" Luko, pick out a book for me."

Ulquiorra casually remarked that he should find an empty spot to sit down. He wasn't sure what he wanted to read, or rather, he had already finished the books he had originally intended to read.

The choice can only be left to the acting curator.

"Yes, Lord Ulquiorra."

Shiraishi replied enthusiastically, interrupting his game experience, and got up to get a book from the bookshelf in front of him.

Orihime Inoue followed.

Entering the quiet bookshelf area, Shiraishi didn't stop walking, continuing deeper inside. Making sure no one was around, he turned back and asked, " Orihime, can you still hold on?"

"It's alright, Mr. Shiraishi. I've gotten much stronger recently, and I can last for thirteen minutes now."

Orihime Inoue Riot Games to show her strength, and said with a bright smile, "Don't worry about me, just focus on your mission."

Shiraishi looked at the girl who was forcing a smile, reached out and patted her head, and said, "I have mastered the method of opening the entrance and exit and opening the barrier. Now I just need to wait for news from Kisuke Urahara."

Don't worry, I'll get you out of here soon.

Orihime Inoue, briefly comforted, nodded emphatically and said, "Yes, to avoid further suspicion, let's hurry out."

Shiraishi casually picked up a book from the bookshelf.

Ulquiorra is willing to read any book, so there's no need to specifically choose one.

Returning to the hall, he handed over the book with a broad smile, saying, "Lord Ulquiorra, the book has been chosen."

Ulquiorra looked up at the book cover.

Postpartum care for sows

"..."

Shiraishi was shocked. Holy crap, who the hell wrote this into a book and put it on the bookshelf?

No matter how you look at it, Aizen wouldn't like this type of book.

It's said that the Great Spirit Book Library doesn't discriminate when it comes to the books it collects.

"Um..." he said awkwardly, wanting to exchange the book.

Ulquiorra took the book from him, opened it to the first page, and saw the title was "The Neighbor's Wife"...

What does this have to do with the sow?

It must be said that the title piqued Ulquiorra's interest and made him continue reading.

His earnestness made Shiraishi feel a little ashamed; next time, he should at least look at the cover and not just grab any book randomly.

Shiraishi returned to his computer and began his arduous work.

After being AFK for so long, we're definitely going to lose this game.

He could only try his best to salvage the situation.

Crystal exploded.

The library's main entrance was opened once again.

There are an unusually large number of guests today.

Shiraishi looked up, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.

The newcomer had long, light purple hair that covered his ears, a thin face, and a rather short stature.

He always had a smiling expression on his face, making him look like a fox.

"Oh my, isn't this Ulquiorra? What a coincidence, you're here too."

Gin Ichimaru smiled and waved hello, then noticed the book cover. "Would you like to switch careers and raise pigs? I know a few people who know how."

"It's none of your business."

Ulquiorra calmly replied and continued watching.

Gin Ichimaru, his hands tucked into his sleeves, said, "How cold you are. Do you dislike me?"

"No."

Ulquiorra answered casually.

Gin Ichimaru smiled, his narrowed eyes glancing at Orihime Inoue had just stepped out of the bookshelf area. "You're the human girl who was kidnapped to the Divine Realm. Should I take you back to the Dark Forest?"

Orihime Inoue's eyes widened, her hand instinctively tightening its grip on the book, wondering what this person was saying.

Gin Ichimaru smiled and approached, saying, "Being here terrifies you, doesn't it? If you beg me, it's not impossible for me to send you back."

winter.

Ulquiorra used Sonído to block Orihime Inoue's path, his expression cold as he said, "This is someone Lord Aizen entrusted to my care. Without his orders, no one can take her away."

"Don't be so heartless. At least let her see one last time the death of her comrade."

Gin Ichimaru's narrowed eyes opened slightly, his icy blue pupils filled with mockery. "Don't you think this is the last act of mercy you can show her?"

Orihime Inoue exclaimed, "What did you say?"

"It's nothing, it's just that while Lord Aizen was in the research lab, I had just signed a document to annihilate the Shinigami."

Yawen Bar

Gin Ichimaru spread his hands and said, "The document instructs the Sixth Espada, Grimmjow, to lead his subordinates and an army of 100,000 Arrancar into the Dark Forest to annihilate the remaining Shinigami."

One hundred thousand?!

This number alarmed Orihime Inoue, who glared at him angrily and demanded, "Why would you do such a thing?"

"Because we are the enemy."

Gin Ichimaru casually remarked with a smile, "The departure time is set for five o'clock in the afternoon. If you want to watch from the sidelines, you can still make it now."

"No."

Ulquiorra flatly refused; he didn't want to be in the same space as Grimmjow.

It wasn't out of fear, but simply a desire to abide by the rules set by Aizen.

In his eyes, Lord Aizen's decisions were meaningful.

He didn't want to ruin that meaning.

Grimmjow was an anomaly, always sharpening his claws and sizing up him and the other Espada with the eyes of someone eyeing prey.

Taking Orihime Inoue there would almost certainly result in a fight.

Grimmjow never missed an opportunity to provoke him and incite conflict between them.

Orihime Inoue bit her lip, wanting to rush to the Dark Forest to warn everyone as soon as possible, but knowing she couldn't escape.

What should I do? What should I do?

Mr. Shiraishi... Orihime Inoue subconsciously glanced at Shiraishi behind the counter for help.

A gentle shake of the head and a calm gaze helped her calm down as well.

Gin Ichimaru didn't miss the subtle changes in her expression. He had originally just wanted to tease her casually, but now he had discovered something serious.

That pleading look in her eyes instantly turned into a composed expression.

If he wasn't mistaken, there should be someone in that direction of his gaze.

That's terrifying.

Even if he intentionally probed the Reiatsu, he couldn't detect anything unusual.

"How interesting," Gin Ichimaru muttered, then turned and greeted, " Tier Harribel, do you want to join in?"

Tier Harribel closed the book, even covering the cover with her hand, and said, "I will only obey Lord Aizen's orders."

The library should be quiet, but at this moment, no one dared to say a word, all bowing their heads and pretending not to exist.

Gin Ichimaru said with a grin, "What? You acted all tense, like Shinigami was coming, but when it came to actually going in to wipe them out, you didn't want to."

"Visible enemies can always be destroyed; it is the intangible enemies that should be taken more seriously."

Tier Harribel replied, her suspicions about Gin Ichimaru undiminished; she even felt that this was a self-directed and self-acted drama.

The goal was to get her and Nel to give up secretly searching for evidence.

"Uh, I really don't know."

Gin Ichimaru smiled and replied without saying anything, drawing all the Arrancar's attention to him.

This was the only thing he could do.
