The Unforgiven in Shinigami, Chapter 28: The Ever-Stubborn Soi Fon Gin Ichimaru's Days Are Leisurely
Shinigami has no tradition of mistreating prisoners; he was locked in a spacious single cell with a stool and a bed.
Handcuffs were put on his hands to restrict his Spiritual Power.
Three meals a day are delivered on time, and I can take a walk around the cell every now and then, and I can even bask in the sun briefly in the afternoon.
For Gin Ichimaru, these dreary days were quite relaxing. He didn't need to worry about his intentions being exposed to Aizen, nor did he need to pretend. He could leisurely lie down and cross his legs.
Life is better than before.
His only regret was that he couldn't retrieve the Rangiku for Hōgyoku.
All those years of forbearance ultimately came to naught.
I should have said sorry beforehand.
He murmured, a hint of regret flashing across his fox-like face before being concealed, his footsteps sounding loud in the silent cell.
Gin Ichimaru got out of bed, squinted at the outside of the cell, and saw a black-haired man with regular features wearing a white haori over a black uniform, walking with firm and powerful steps to the cell door.
"Long time no see, Gin Ichimaru."
" Captain-Commander Shiraishi, it seems you've finally come to a conclusion about how to deal with me."
Gin Ichimaru walked to the prison door, smiling, and said, "I hope it's a good decision."
"We've decided to release you from prison, on the condition that you join the 11th Division and stay with Kenpachi Zaraki."
After much deliberation, Shiraishi decided that leaving the 11th Division was the most suitable place, Kenpachi Zaraki would probably very much like having someone who could fight alongside him at all times.
Gin Ichimaru's face showed a hint of helplessness. "I don't want to communicate with Captain Zaraki every day. Just give me a cell phone and let me live in jail."
"Dream on. If I don't punish you, you think you can just freeload? When you get to the 11th Division, remember to take care of those official duties. If you keep leaving Yumichika Ayasegawa to handle everything, they'll never be able to keep up."
"Alright." Gin Ichimaru sighed. He didn't dislike Zaraki, provided he kept his distance. Spending 24 hours a day with that kind of battle maniac, getting into a fight every few days, the kind where it's a life-or-death struggle.
Nobody could stand that.
He doesn't have that explosive need for combat.
Shiraishi had someone open the door, then with a single stroke, he broke the handcuffs that restricted his Spiritual Power, saying, "Come with me."
"Hi."
Gin Ichimaru stretched his wrists, and the restoration of his Spiritual Power made his weak body strong. He stepped out of the cell, took the Shinsō handed to him by the jailer, and casually tucked it into his waistband.
As the person walked outside, their squinting eyes easily suggested they were considering some wicked idea.
A chill ran down my spine.
Shiraishi was puzzled. How could Aizen remain unmoved despite being stared at like that every day?
Indeed, habits are a terrible thing.
He led Gin Ichimaru to the 11th Division's headquarters.
The noisy crew members who used to be at the base have disappeared; judging from their Reiatsu, they are filming a movie elsewhere.
Did they start filming right after eating?
Their diligence was so remarkable that he almost couldn't believe they were the 11th Division; he seriously suspected they treated movie making as their main job.
"From now on, you'll be keeping an eye on discipline within the 11th Division."
Gin Ichimaru remarked, "Ugh, that kind of thing is so troublesome."
Shiraishi said irritably, "Why would I let you out if it weren't troublesome?"

"Hey, hey, that's what happens when you're the Captain-Commander."
Gin Ichimaru spread his hands, offering no further argument.
Pass through the church hall and enter the atrium.
Sycamore trees and lawns intertwine, occasionally adorned with wildflowers. A fountain stands in the center, and a tall man lies on a bench beside it, clutching his Zanpakuto. His fierce face, even in his sleep, does not inspire a sense of peace, but rather a growing sense of dread.
"It seems we've come at the wrong time."
Gin Ichimaru shrugged.
Shiraishi's eyes widened.
A murderous aura swept across the tips of the grass.
Kenpachi Zaraki was jolted awake from his deep sleep. Without the slightest hesitation, he drew his serrated Nosara Nozarashi at lightning speed and unleashed a golden slash that tore the earth apart.
Gin Ichimaru's eyes remained narrowed, ready to leave at any moment.
With a single swing of his sword, Shiraishi created Wind Wall that silently neutralized the powerful slash.
"Haha!" Kenpachi Zaraki burst into wild laughter. He didn't understand what was going on, but he couldn't Kenpachi an opponent that had come to him.
His towering figure tore through the air as he arrived, a sinister laugh escaping his lips as he slammed his right hand down with the Nozarashi, his golden Reiatsu reaching its peak as his emotions surged.
Bang!
Shiraishi swung his sword to block the attack, the impact shattering the clouds and whipping the hair of the three people into a whirlwind.
"Calm down, Zaraki. I'm not here to fight you. I'm here to get Gin Ichimaru on your team. If you need anything, just ask him."
After saying this, Shiraishi Kenpachi Zaraki back with his sword, then used Steel Tempest to leave.
Kenpachi Zaraki's excitement hadn't subsided when he turned his gaze to Gin Ichimaru.
He sighed, gripping the hilt of the Shinsō. "It seems we have no choice but to fight."
"Long time no see, Ichimaru."
Kenpachi Zaraki laughed loudly. After such a long time apart, how could things end without a life-or-death battle?
boom!
The air vibrated as two powerful Reiatsu collided from a direction invisible to the naked eye.
Zaraki, Ichimaru?
Soi Fon looked out the window, a hint of confusion on his face. Had that guy been released, or had he escaped from his cell?
Before she could figure it out, one hand grabbed her short skirt and lifted it up. "Hey, what are you doing, you pervert!"
She quickly pressed her hand down and glared fiercely at the man in front of her.
Shiraishi shrugged and said, "Who sent me a picture up my skirt this early in the morning, and even said they knocked over a water glass?"
Soi Fon blushed furiously, refusing to admit that she was the one who posted the photo, and glared at him, saying, "Stop nagging! I don't know what you're talking about. Don't disturb my lunch break."
"You're still being stubborn. Every Monday you send me those photos. Now that I'm here, you still want to refuse? I'm going to teach you a lesson today."
Shiraishi ignored her weak resistance and possessed her with a resolute attitude. As expected, he quickly made Soi Fon give up her resistance.
"Phew." Shiraishi let out a heavy breath, patted Soi Fon's head, and laughed, "If you dare to act tough again next time, don't blame me for being impolite."
"Who's afraid of you?" Soi Fon retorted defiantly.
Shiraishi smiled and instructed, "I have a task I'd like to assign to you."
Soi Fon nestled against his chest, as languid as a kitten. "What is it?"
"I suspect someone is deliberately teaching those civil servants how to be corrupt. Please investigate this matter, and keep it strictly confidential so that no one else finds out."

Shiraishi gently touched her little head.
Soi Fon nodded and said, "Okay, I'll arrange for a reliable person to investigate."
"Someone's coming, I'll go first."
Shiraishi sensed someone approaching and quickly left. Don't ask why he was hiding from people; he just wanted that thrill.
Soi Fon hurriedly dressed, fanned herself with her small hands to dispel the smell in the air, her cheeks tense, and decided to let Ōmaeda, who had just come in, investigate those matters.
