The Great Swordsman in Shinigami the Unforgiven, Chapter Nine: An Outstanding Villain, Grand Line, Resort Island.
This is an island that looks like it's covered by an oversized beach umbrella.
"Mr. 3~" The speaker was a little girl wearing a hat and a blue and white cloud-patterned shirt. She had a delicate and cute face, but seemed uninterested in anything. She knelt properly on the chair, looking at the white paper.
"What is it?" the man in a blue and white sleeveless shirt, bow tie, and dark glasses replied, taking a sip of his black tea. "Hmm, drinking black tea really has to be with Earl."
"How relaxing, Mr. 3."
"Keep saying 'leisurely, leisurely,' don't you hate work?" Mr. 3 retorted, smiling as he said, "Then enjoy this leisurely time without any missions! Such a leisurely vacation is the privilege of the chief commander!"
"Also... don't call me by my code name in public, it will reveal that I'm Mr. 3."
She looked at the man and said it in a very serious tone.
The little girl glanced at the hairstyle tied in a three-character shape, "Really?"
"Speaking of which, you've been staring at that piece of paper all these days, what is it?" Mr. 3 asked, somewhat puzzled.
The little girl replied, "The boss's order."
Why didn't you say so sooner!
Mr. 3 roared, snatched the order, glanced around, and realized someone had been killed. His eyes flashed coldly as he said, "Excellent criminals use their brains to commit crimes. Let us teach them how terrifying it is to offend the crime lords."
"Uncle Giant, our comrades would never do such a thing."
The heavily injured Dorry was knocked to the ground by Luffy, not because Luffy was stronger than him, but because Dorry had just gone through a major battle, then suffered an internal explosion that injured his stomach, and was unaware that Luffy Devil Fruit, which led to his carelessness and defeat.
"..." Vivi still had doubts about the bearded giant.
"The old man is right,"
Without a shred of doubt, Luffy took the straw hat from Vivi and put it on, his face grave. "It couldn't have been done by another giant. There are other people on this island!"
A white wax house in the dense forest.
Is that alright?
Mr. 5, a man in a brown trench coat and sunglasses, asked the man in front of him uncertainly.
"Although those two giants have been using volcanic eruptions as a signal for their duel, that guy named Dorry just drank some strong liquor infused with my Devil Fruit power. The internal explosion has already severely injured him. There's no way he could continue the duel, right?"
"Mr. 5, I completely agree that you can't understand what those big, rock-headed guys are thinking."
Mr. 3 crossed his legs and sipped his red tea.
As a senior executive in the Baroque Studio, he considered himself a sculptor and took pride in his despicable character.
I've always believed that as long as victory is achieved, the means or methods used are completely insignificant.
They joined forces with Mr. 5 to smuggle explosives into Dorry's wine, prematurely detonate the volcano in front of them, and lay numerous traps in the jungle.
"But we don't need to think like the prey, because we are people who can use our brains."
"Once we figure out the habits of these physically strong but simple-minded guys, we won't be afraid of even the biggest pirates with bounties of hundreds of millions."
In his left hand were two old wanted posters, bearing portraits of Brogy and Dorry, each with a bounty of 100 million Belly.
"Don't worry, I'll share some of the reward with you, Mr. 5."
Mr. 3 took an elegant sip. "After all, running errands counts as a small contribution, hmm, hard work."
Faced with the two artists leisurely drinking tea, Mr. 5, the man in the trench coat and sunglasses, and Miss Valentine with gloomy faces.
Strength is the foundation of status; this is the motto of Baroque Works.
···········
Boom!
A second volcanic eruption occurred.
"Ugh," Dorry was woken up and struggled to get up, showing no intention of continuing to attack Luffy.
"Hey, wait, uncle, don't go!" Luffy shouted.
"Mr. Dorry, you must rest. You'll die if you try to go there."
Vivi followed suit, offering her advice.
"Ahem, I am the warrior Dorry. At least let me fight without being worthy of the name of Elbaf warrior!"
Despite the pain that clouded his eyes, Dorry showed no intention of ending the fight.
Hey, giant uncle!
Luffy, not wanting the fight to continue, shouted, "This isn't the time for a duel! We should capture the person hiding in the shadows first!"
In the winter, Dorry suddenly grabbed Luffy and then shoved him under the giant skeleton next to him.
During the previous battle, Dorry already knew that Luffy was Devil Fruit user and was not afraid of this physical pressure.
"Hey, you bastard, get your house off me right now?!"
"It's gotten out of control. I'm sorry, I had my suspicions about you earlier..." Dorry bowed his head and apologized, not believing that a captain with such an upright character could have a group of despicable crew members.
"I must continue my duel. Although it happened a hundred years ago, once the battle begins, it cannot be stopped."
To flee from the very beginning of the battle is to abandon the name of a warrior.
Dorry picked up his sword and shield, and resolutely turned around. "If I run away, I wouldn't be myself. Besides, this is the judgment of the God of War Elbaf. It seems he has no intention of protecting me."
Luffy reacted with anger to his attitude, roaring, "God of War or protection, what do these things have to do with you? If the God of War tells you to die, will you die too?"
"This duel has been rigged!"
Crushed beneath the giant skeleton, Luffy pounded the ground, yelling, "What kind of duel is this?!"
"Shut up, you who have only lived for ten or twenty years, how could you possibly understand the greatness of Elbaf?" Dorry replied, and walked forward.
Luffy pounded the ground in frustration, while Vivi watched with a strange expression. Fighting so desperately for a giant he'd just met—he didn't seem like the kind of villain the Navy had a bounty on his head.
She thought to herself that her original values were beginning to waver.
On the other side, in Brogy's territory.
"Oh? The volcano has erupted again."
Brogy looked somewhat surprised. "Two duels in one day, today is truly a good day."
But your injury...
Nami's face showed worry, but Brogy just laughed heartily.
"Haha, it's nothing!"
"Our injuries are the same; it will still be a fair duel."
"Keep it up, Master!"
Usopp shouted encouragement, Brogy nodded.
"Okay, I'll go and win!"
With that, he picked up his axe and shield and strode away.
Seeing this, Nami put her hands on her hips, looking utterly defeated by these idiot men, and muttered, "How could they possibly waste so much time on such a boring fight?"
Usopp immediately retorted, "You're not allowed to say that about a battle for honor!"
Nami glanced at the Log Pose and said, "Anyway, let's go back to the ship and save this record. It's taking a whole year."
"Well, let's discuss a plan when everyone gets back."
"Wait a moment!"
Usopp, who had just vowed to become a true seaman, pointed to himself and firmly rejected Nami's suggestion, "Because I can't handle dinosaurs, we can't get back to the ship through this jungle!"
"Didn't you just say you wanted to become a brave warrior of the sea?" Nami spread her hands, indicating her incomprehension.
Usopp's idea was simple. "I'm talking about mentally becoming a reliable man."
"There's no other way but to go find Luffy and the others." Nami sighed. At this point, it was more reliable to go to the main force.
"Haha, long-awaited fine wine, how does it taste?"
Brogy took a few steps forward, Dorry held his shield in front of his face to prevent the other from seeing the blood flowing down the corner of his mouth.
"Ah, very good."
He replied with a smile, "It tastes like heaven!"
"Haha, here I come!"
"Hahaha, come on!"
Clang!!
With a deafening crash that pierced the sky, the two giants began yet another duel.
Elsewhere on the island, "The crashing sounds started again..."
Zoro looked up, dragging a Triceratops by his arm, and looked around. He really wanted to see where the battle was taking place.
But he traveled for half a day without arriving at either the Going Merry or the battleground.
By normal standards, he was definitely directionally challenged; in his eyes, the roads on this island were simply too interconnected and chaotic.
"Ha, isn't that Nami?"
A familiar figure delighted Zoro, who dragged the Triceratops behind him toward Nami leaning against a large tree, scratching his short green hair with relief as he walked.
"Thank goodness I ran into you, otherwise I don't know how long I would have been wandering around in this damned forest."
·······
"Aaaaaah, a dinosaur~~~~"
Nami and Usopp were both in tears, but she quickly realized that Usopp was an expert at outrunning his teammates and was on the verge of death, leaving her far behind. "Hey! You're running way too fast!"
Terrified, Usopp didn't hear a thing and vanished into the dense forest in the blink of an eye.
"Damn it!" Nami was too exhausted to run anymore, so she braced herself on her knees, looking around warily. Suddenly, she spotted a familiar figure on the other side of the dense forest. The iconic straw hat Nami excitedly run over. " Luffy? Great! What are you doing here?"
As she approached Luffy, she realized something was off about him. "You, ahh!"
The terrified scream carried far and wide. Usopp stopped running, turned his head to look, but couldn't see her anywhere. " Nami? Nami?"
He shouted it several times.
There was no response. Usopp was almost completely disoriented. Could it be that Nami had been eaten by a dinosaur?
"Ahhh!!" In his extreme emotions, Usopp was obsessed with finding Luffy. For some reason, he suddenly knew which direction Luffy in and, strangely enough, how to get there quickly and safely.
He immediately took off running, shouting from afar, "Oh no! Luffy, Nami's been eaten by a dinosaur!"
"What?!" Luffy's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.
Usopp looked panicked. "What do we do? We hid from the dinosaurs and escaped into the forest, but when I turned around, she was gone!"
"What should I do if I let my companion die without helping?"
"Hey, you guys calm down." Vivi was able to remain calm, probably because she wasn't very familiar with Nami yet, and was able to use rational thinking to analyze the loopholes in Usopp's words.
" Nami suddenly disappeared. Are you sure she was eaten?"
"I was terrified, how could I possibly have time to confirm? It was either a dinosaur or a ferocious beast, what else could it be?"
Usopp answered loudly, his heart filled with regret. Why had he run so fast?
Damn it, they call themselves sea warriors, yet they can't even protect their important comrades.
Usopp really wants to die.
Vivi calmly said, "Although I don't know the reason for this, if the people from Baroque Works tracked us down here, it's understandable that they would only target Nami among the two of you."
"You weren't on their list, so that barrel of wine was probably meant for us."
"Alcohol? What's going on?" Usopp looked completely bewildered. After Vivi explained, he understood what had happened and exclaimed angrily, "How can you decide a winner like this!"
······
In the center of the island, two enormous figures are still locked in fierce combat!
"No wonder it's a giant; it's so resilient even after being hit inside its belly by an explosion."
Leaning against a tree beside the battlefield, Mr. 3 snapped his fingers, a sinister smile on his face, and said, "Let me give you a hand."
With a whoosh, a smooth layer of wax spread to the feet of the long-bearded giant Dorry, causing him to stumble in the midst of battle.
Brogy immediately seized the opportunity, and with his giant axe raised high, he cleaved open the chest of the bearded giant.
Blood splattered down like a waterfall as Dorry's tall body crashed to the ground.
At the same time, Luffy and his crew witnessed that scene, their expressions filled with anger. "Who was it?!"
Luffy's roar transformed into sound waves that spread far and wide through the dense forest.
"Mr. 3, there seems to be a sound?"
The little girl looked up.
Mr. 3, holding a cup of red tea, said with a mocking expression, "Hahaha, there are guys in this jungle who wail after losing a fight, how hilarious."
After saying that, he looked up at the giant in front of him.
"70,000...3,000...467 times, one win!"
Brogy spoke with difficulty, tears streaming uncontrollably from his eyes.
"Heh, you won and you're crying with joy? Single-celled organisms really are easily pleased."
Mr. 3 leaned against a coconut tree, took a sip of his black tea, and said with a relaxed expression, "Well, anyway, I'd like to say thank you for your hard work."
"You're saying I cried tears of joy? What do you know...? Who exactly are you people?"
Brogy suddenly realized something.
"Mr. 3, I'm truly sorry, I only have a codename. I'm a visual artist."
He introduced himself with a smile, "That's my assistant, a realist painter, Ms. Golden Week."
"Also, you've been arrested."
Mr. 3's eyes sharpened.
Brogy looked down and saw that his feet were somehow wrapped in white wax. "What is this?"
"Art~" Mr. 3 laughed.
