The Unforgiven from Shinigami
The office is spacious.
Crocodile sat in a chair, his face full of arrogance. He had slicked-back hair, a long horizontal scar on his face, an earring in his right ear, and a cigar in his mouth.
His left hand was adorned with a gold hook, and his right hand wore three ornate gemstone rings.
This kind of outfit would normally be considered tacky, but on this man, it only added to his domineering aura.
He was wearing a black fur coat over an orange plaid long-sleeved shirt, his legs crossed, glancing sideways at Shiraishi and Retsu Unohana as they entered.
"You must be the leader," Crocodile said, still not standing up. "Welcome to my Rain Dinners. Would you like a drink?"
Shiraishi shook his head, walked a few steps to the table, sat down, and said, "Wouldn't it be better to negotiate and exchange the information we each want to know?"
"Haha, I like your way of doing things."
Crocodile burst into laughter, propping his cheek with his right hand, and said, "There are many strange things about masks on the Grand Line, and occasionally they also have strange moves."
However, most of these techniques cannot be passed on to outsiders; they are all specifically passed down to a particular person within the family, so they have not been able to form a systematic whole.
A power that can be easily learned should have been prevalent at sea long ago, instead of remaining obscure. What do you think?
"It's normal for someone to try and prevent the loss. We have a traitor in our clan. If you help us, it's not impossible for you to gain this power."
After thinking it over, Shiraishi decided not to reveal the truth to someone like Crocodile and instead chose to deceive him with the island.
After all, not everyone can be like Luffy, who, upon learning that it's another world, would cheerfully say "How interesting!" and then remain indifferent.
"Haha, I'm not interested," Crocodile replied arrogantly. He was about to obtain Pluton, the most militarily powerful being in the world, and looked down on something like the Kidō.
"I just hope you won't disrupt my plans. This is a report from my informant in the rebel army three days ago. It says that Kohza met with a man with waist-length hair and talked for a long time. This is a record of their conversation."
Crocodile did not want to control such a large number of rebels, as that would consume a great deal of his energy.
All he needed to do was keep track of Kohza's movements and have all the information about this leader to control the rebel army.
Therefore, apart from the core members, the people doing odd jobs around Kohza were all employees of the Baroque Works.
Kohza's words and actions are recorded and reported to Crocodile on a daily basis.
Shiraishi took the report, looked it over carefully, and found that the record did indeed resemble Aizen's words and actions—detached from worldly affairs, yet recording history.
"You guys will take care of him, right?"
"Hmm." Shiraishi nodded, stood up, and gestured for Retsu Unohana to leave. It was time to head to the royal capital.
Meanwhile, the Straw Hat Pirates continued their journey and soon arrived at the port of Eruma.
Here they encountered a sea creature that knew martial arts: the manatee.
Luffy recruited them and entrusted the task of protecting the Going Merry to the manatees, sharing a considerable amount of food with them.
Afterwards, Vivi explained why this place is called Oasis City.
Despite the lack of freshwater due to seawater intrusion, the residents of Eruma still collect and store the occasional rainwater for future use.
Until three years ago, suddenly there was no rain, and a severe drought occurred.
This is something that has never happened before in the history of the Kingdom of Alabasta.
Conversely, Alubarna, the capital of Alabasta, has experienced continuous rainfall and increased precipitation.
At first, everyone called this the Miracle of the kingdom, but it wasn't until two years ago that people discovered the Dance Powder that was being transported to the capital at the port.
This is a magical powder that can produce rain; it's essentially artificial rainmaking.
However, Dance Powder has a major drawback: after using Dance Powder, the downwind area will no longer receive precipitation. In other words, Dance Powder steals precipitation from other places.
Because of this drawback, the World Government has banned the production and sale of Dance Powder.
So the inhabitants of Alabasta revolted, believing that the king had used Dance Powder to fertilize his own capital while plunging the rest of his people into drought.
"Ah, so your father is a bad guy?" Luffy asked with a surprised expression.
Nami quickly punched him, saying, "Idiot, of course it's not like that!"
"Yes, my father never used it," Vivi nodded, knowing full well that her father did not use the Dance Powder.
Later, through her investigation, she discovered, or rather, that Robin had deliberately leaked the information, leading her to understand that it was Sand Crocodile Crocodile used the Dance Powder.
He even deliberately exposed the purchase of Dance Powder to intensify internal conflicts within the kingdom and incite an uprising, while he reaped the benefits.
Looking at the scene before him, Luffy clenched his Riot Games, feeling a genuine surge of anger towards Crocodile. " Vivi, let's go! I can't hold back any longer!"
The desert was dangerous, Luffy's anger was quickly worn down by the high temperature and the Deceptive Bird.
Nami unexpectedly tamed a camel for transportation and named it Matsuge.
After finally reaching Yuba, a sandstorm struck, turning Yuba into a devastated Yuba, much like the port city of Eruma where they had landed earlier.
I realized that Yuba was already in this terrible state, but it was here that I met an old man named Toto who still believed in King Cobra.
Toto cried after he found Vivi.
Vivi stared at Toto in disbelief. In Vivi's memory, Toto was a chubby middle-aged man, but now he had become a skinny old man.
Toto's son, Kohza, Vivi's childhood sweetheart, is the leader of the rebel army.
Toto felt extremely guilty, as his son had become the leader of a rebel army that wanted to overthrow the kingdom, plunging the country into civil war.
Vivi pulled Toto, assuring him not to worry and that she would definitely stop the rebellion.
With Vivi's words, Toto felt much more at ease.
However, he persisted in digging for groundwater, even when he was alone.
This was the only way he could show that he still supported King Cobra.
After a night's rest, the next day, Toto handed Luffy a small bottle of water, indicating that it was the real water of Yuba.
Luffy was overjoyed and put the water bottle around his neck.
Luffy then persuaded Vivi.
Vivi wants to stop the crisis of the kingdom's civil war by preventing Kohza from launching a riot.
But Luffy, though seemingly clueless, is actually very clear-headed; simply stopping the riot is useless.
Since the whole thing was caused by Crocodile, he wanted to beat Crocodile into oblivion.
The only real way to resolve the riots is to make Crocodile's actions public.
So the Straw Hat Pirates changed direction and headed to the oasis Rainbase above Yuba, known as the city of dreams.
Meanwhile, the Karoo had already crossed the desert and arrived in Alubarna, the capital of Alabasta.
Karoo delivered Vivi's letter to Cobra. Upon learning this information, Cobra displayed the magnanimity befitting a king. Without hesitation, he immediately ordered the captain of the royal guard, Pell, and his deputy Chaka, to gather troops and launch a full-scale attack on Rainbase to subdue Crocodile.
He wouldn't care even if he lost his throne.
Even without a king, the rebels can still shoulder the future of the country and its people; if Sand Crocodile is left to his own devices, the people have no future.
Pirates don't care about the lives of ordinary people.
While he was launching a general offensive, Kohza was also directing the rebel army to attack the capital Alubarna directly from their main base in Katorea, near the Nanohana.
The Straw Hat Pirates are struggling through the desert on their way to the Rainbase to defeat Sand Crocodile Crocodile.
An atmosphere of anxiety began to pervade the entire country.
I saw it!
"That's the Rainbase!!"
"Have we arrived...?"
"Alright, let's take down Crocodile!" Luffy shouted, raising his hands.
"Water!!" Usopp and Chopper shouted, raising their hands.
Sitting on the camel, Nami looked at Usopp and asked, "By the way, Usopp, is that thing I asked you to do done?"
Usopp looked up at Nami and replied, "Oh... that? It's done, it's really powerful!" Then Usopp took out several iron rods from his bag, "Look, this is your new weapon, the Clima-Tact."
Nami took the Clima-Tact and looked at it with a puzzled expression, asking, " Clima-Tact?"
Usopp nodded and explained, "That's right. Although it looks just as ordinary as before, its power is completely different."
The attack method will vary depending on the combination of the three sticks.
Usopp then began explaining how to use it to Nami, but it was a long explanation.
Finally Usopp simply gave Nami an instruction manual, telling her to take her time to read it.
"Hey, don't give Nami anything dangerous! Nami and Vivi don't need to fight because I'll protect them. Call me Prince, haha~" Sanji shouted, pointing a thumbs-up at himself.
Zoro said expressionlessly, "Prince."
Sanji roared, "I told you not to yell!"
As they approached the Rainbase, Usopp and Luffy sprinted straight towards the restaurant.
They didn't notice that Smoker and Tashigi were inside the store, shouting at the counter that they wanted water, five buckets.
"The water tastes so good!"
"Delicious!"
Usopp and Luffy stood next to Smoker and Tashigi, drinking water.
Smoker and Tashigi, who were discussing the incident, finally noticed Luffy and Usopp beside them.
Usopp and Luffy also noticed Smoker and Tashigi, Smoker sprayed water in Tashigi faces.
Then the two of them carried the three buckets of water and ran out.
"Stop! Don't run!"
Smoker is determined not to let a sure thing slip away.
"Ugh, why are there navy people here too?"
Luffy looked completely bewildered; he didn't know why he couldn't beat this smoking man at all.
"How should I know? Anyway, run!"
The only area where Usopp doesn't lose to Luffy is his escape speed.
"Hey everyone, the Marines are catching up!" Luffy ran towards his crew as usual, drawing the Marines' attention and causing Zoro and the others to have to run after him.
Smoker's lower body turned into white smoke and he rose into the air, gliding forward at close range, much to the surprise of the Straw Hat Pirates.
"Don't come any closer!"
"Run in a dispersed manner! Run in a dispersed manner!"
"Wait a minute! Where is that damn Renekton?"
Amidst the astonished gazes of a few down-on-their-luck pirates in the suburbs, a group of teenagers came running, followed by a smoking ability user.
Further away, a group of naval personnel were struggling to catch up.
"The tallest building in the city is," Vivi quickly explained, "Surrounded by a pool, its exterior is shaped like a giant pyramid, with a huge Banana Crocodile carved on it; it's very easy to spot."
"Alright, let's meet there!"
At Luffy's command, everyone consciously moved away from him.
"Stop right there, Straw Hat!"
Smoker Luffy, which relieved the other Straw Hat Pirates members who had scattered.
To be honest, none of the Straw Hat Pirates can beat Smoker right now.
" Usopp, Nami is yours. I'll take care of them first."
Sanji calmly tossed away his cigarette butt; without that smoker, these Marines were nothing but cannon fodder.
" Roronoa Zoro!"
Tashigi appeared there wearing glasses.
"Aaaaaah~~~ Don't let me see your face!" Zoro's words enraged the beautiful swordswoman opposite him. "Are you looking down on me?"
Helpless, Zoro turned and ran away, using his incredible speed to reach the entrance of the Rain Dinners. He kicked away the person in his way and then joined Luffy, who had fallen down, inside.
" Sand Crocodile!" Luffy shouted as soon as he entered.
Nami retorted, "This is their base! What do you mean by shouting like that?"
"Yeah, yeah, and I don't even know what that Sand Crocodile looks like."
Usopp chimed in from the side, then added, " Sand Crocodile."
" Sand Crocodile!" " Vivi!!"
Luffy, Usopp, Nami shouted in unison.
Zoro didn't know what to say.
"Wait a minute, sir!"
"Navy prohibited..."
The commotion behind them Luffy and the others turn around, and then they saw Smoker break free of the casino guards and rush in.
"It's a heavy smoker!"
"Run!"
Luffy and his crew instinctively started running around randomly.
Welcome, welcome!
This way, everyone.
Ahead lay a red carpet avenue lined with staff in suits, while glamorous dancers bowed in invitation. At the end of the red carpet stood a magnificent gate, engraved with the letters "VIP."
" Renekton!" Luffy, charging forward. "Is this what you mean by 'bring it on'?"
"A head-on fight?" Zoro's fighting spirit soared. "And he's a reasonable bastard!"
"Wait a minute," Nami instinctively sensed something was wrong; they were enemies.
"VIP special treatment?"
Smoker, in the back, took a deep drag on his cigar. "What's the relationship between these guys and Sand Crocodile? Why are they hanging out with the Alabasta princess? Never mind."
He followed Luffy and the others into the VIP passage, shouting, "I'm going to send you all to the Jail!"
Kacha.
The scene shifts, and the group is now squatting in a cage, looking at each other in bewilderment.
"Ah, what a brilliant trap."
Luffy suddenly realized.
"That's right, there's nothing we can do about it."
Usopp nodded.
"You bunch of idiots!" Nami roared, "You ran right into someone else's trap and you still have the nerve to complain?!"
Simply put, this VIP channel is a trap.
Needless to say, Luffy and his crew were frustrated, but Smoker, who was chasing behind, was extremely annoyed.
How could a seasoned naval captain like himself fall for such an obvious trap?
Damn it, it's all Straw Hat's fault!
"Why have I been unable to muster any strength since just now?" Luffy subconsciously walked to the cage, but as soon as he touched the iron cage, he slid down like a noodle.
