"Ah, we've finally passed the test of love!"
Shiraishi said it in a teasing tone.
Sanji's slightly charred face flushed slightly. He had been so focused on looking cool when he lit his cigarette that he felt a little embarrassed when he heard Sanji say it aloud.
"Haha, where is this place?"
Luffy sat on the Crow, looking around. Before him stretched a vast plain, with towering ancient trees as majestic as mountains at the far end.
Sanji changed the subject, saying, "If I'm not mistaken, this should be the next trial area. We don't know where the priests might appear from, so be careful."
Usopp, on the verge of tears, said, "The last trial almost killed me... Shiraishi, you have to protect me!"
He was like a frightened girl, clinging tightly to Shiraishi.
Looking at the long nose, Shiraishi smiled and said, "Don't worry, I won't let you get beaten to death."
In other words, if you can't kill him, then keep hitting him.
Usopp didn't understand the implication and looked completely relieved.
"It looks like an ordinary grassland."
Luffy came to a conclusion.
"What's so ordinary about it!" Usopp couldn't help but complain about his own thick skin, pointing at the sticks, "All the sticks on the grassland are made of skulls!"
"Really?" Luffy only then noticed that those weren't decorations, but rather individual skulls.
"Someone's coming," Shiraishi warned.
"Whoa!"
Usopp immediately stuck close.
Several wildly dressed Shandians appeared in the air.
When Wyper saw Luffy, he remembered what he had said, but he still showed no mercy. He raised the cannon in his hand and Luffy.
" Gum-Gum Balloon!"
Luffy inhaled, his whole body becoming round and bulging, deflecting Wyper's cannonball back.
" Paramecia Fruit user?"
Wyper dodged the shells.
" Wyper! Are you still going to attack?"
"Another Shandia warrior asked."
"No! Ignore them!" Wyper replied.
"Hey Luffy, that guy is attacking our Visored Guerrilla in the White Sea!"
Sanji offered a word of advice.
"Ah!!" Usopp screamed in panic, clutching his head.
"Hey, what are you up to? You're always going against us!"
Luffy's face was full of anger; he couldn't figure out what this guy wanted to do.
Wyper stopped in his tracks, carrying the cannon on his shoulder, and said fiercely to Luffy and his Luffy, "You're the pirates who wreaked havoc in the Holy Land in the Sky, aren't you? If you want to live, get back to the Blue Sea right now."
If you remain obstinate and continue to plot against this island... I will destroy you just as I destroyed Enel!
Upon hearing this, Luffy raised his Riot Games and said, "What did you say? If you're not convinced, then fight me!"
"Alright, Luffy, stop talking. We need to find Chopper and the others quickly."
Sanji turned to Luffy and said, "So the guerrilla fighters and the god aren't on the same side."
"Those who don't belong on this island had better leave as soon as possible, well, provided you have the strength to do so."
After Wyper finished speaking, he left with the other Shandians.
Luffy frowned, watching the departing Shandians, and asked with a puzzled expression, "What exactly are those guys trying to do?"
"Currently, all we know is that they are enemies of God, and therefore also enemies of us."
Sanji a drag of his cigarette, his brow furrowing slightly.
"Haha, isn't this fun? A free-for-all!"
Shiraishi smiled.
Usopp said speechlessly, "This is boring. Let's hurry up and find Nami and the others and leave."
Shiraishi glanced around and saw that the battle Shandians and the priests had already begun in the forest.
As the sun slowly sets, evening arrives.
"Hey, look! The Going Merry!" Sanji spotted the Going Merry on the altar from afar, his eyes instantly turning into hearts. He waved and exclaimed, "Ah~ my lovely Nami ~ my beloved Robin ~ the charming Unohana, it's me! I've come to save you through the trial of love~"
He waved his hand, carrying Retsu Unohana, clearly believing that even as a wife, she would not lose her identity as a woman.
Gentlemen must be respected.
"You're all scared, aren't you? Don't be afraid, don't be afraid, Captain Usopp is here, you can rest assured!"
Usopp stood at the bow of the ship, arms crossed, feigning bravery.
Upon getting closer, Usopp was shocked. Wait, why is the Going Merry in such bad shape? Even the hull is broken.
Chopper looked nervous. "I'm sorry, I didn't fix the boat. Enemies came halfway through, and Sister Hana held them off, but I was too nervous and didn't have time to repair it."
"Haha, it's okay, I'll fix it."
Usopp smiled, inwardly cursing that damn god for making such a mess of his beloved Going Merry.
Shiraishi and Retsu Unohana stayed on one side of the boat.
"Looks like it won't be easy." She turned her head and looked towards the forest.
"Well, we're just passing through; we can't interfere too much with their growth. Let's just watch and see."
Shiraishi shook his head.
"Isn't Aizen here?" "There are many on Sky Island." Shiraishi's tone was full of helplessness; the world of One Piece is truly vast.
After dinner, everyone began to analyze the current situation and strengths, and most importantly, the value of gold!
"Look," Nami, taking out a map of Jaya Island and combining it with the map of the Sky Island they had previously salvaged, then spreading it on the ground.
"If I take the map Robin got on Jaya Island, draw it to the same scale as the ancient map of the Holy Land in the Sky, and then paste it onto the shore..."
A skull appeared before them.
"Look, this is what Jaya Island looked like four hundred years ago..."
"Oh, it looks like a skull." Luffy squatted to the side, his face full of surprise.
"Wow, that's amazing!" Usopp exclaimed. "So the skull's right eye is...?"
"This place!"
Nami pointed to a circular center next to the Altar of Sacrifice, where a huge building was drawn inside.
" Noland surely hinting at the entirety of Jaya Island, but now only half of Jaya Island remains, so the mystery remains unsolved."
Nami stood up, extended her finger, and smiled broadly.
"So that's how it is..."
That makes sense...
"A treasure!!"
"Tomorrow we'll head straight to this place; it's the perfect spot. There must be tons of gold waiting for us here!"
Nami pushed up her glasses, her face full of excitement.
At this time, on an island called Upper Yard, at a higher elevation, stands a shrine.
Why did God call us here?
Three priests arrived at the shrine. They were Ohm, a tattooed samurai wearing sunglasses and carrying a cloud-shaped sword.
The Shura, Knight of the Sky, wielding a knight's lance and wearing a flight cap.
Serious-looking but actually goofy, Air Force Captain Gedatsu.
"Open the door!"
As the shrine gates opened, the three of them immediately assumed defensive stances.
The obese captain of the divine soldiers, Yama, who emerged from inside, sighed and said, "My four lords, please remain humble before the gods."
"In front of me?" The Shura, Knight of the Sky, who had just entered the shrine, pointed to the large, empty shrine.
"Then tell me, where is God?"
"There's a flaw!"
With a crackling sound, a figure flashed by, like a thunderclap or a bolt of lightning.
In an instant, four priests with Observation Haki (also known as Mantra ) were simultaneously affected.
Lightning bolted through them, knocking all four to the ground before meandering into the shrine.
"I am..."
A man sat there lazily, wearing a white headscarf, with long earlobes and earrings.
He was shirtless, with four jade-adorned thunder drums on his back, golden bracelets on his hands, and wearing baggy trousers. He was barefoot, with rings on his toes. "God!"
"Aren't I right here?"
Perhaps it would seem both childish and awkward for someone else to say such a thing, but for this man to call himself a god in a calm voice is so natural.
"Go back to cultivation. Your cultivation is still far from sufficient, and you don't want to end up like Satori."
"..."
"What are you saying?" Gedatsu, somewhat displeased. He wasn't going to be defeated.
"Seriously, did you just summon us in an emergency to make fun of us?"
Shura makes a comment.
"Hahaha," Enel, the man who called himself a god and the ruler of this Sky Island, took an apple from the maid's plate next to him and took a bite.
"I'm so bored, you guys sit down first."
"It seems you didn't deter those Blue Sea people," Enel casually glanced at the four men sitting Fuza in front of him. "Their target is gold."
"Gold? How would they know?"
"This island originally came from the Blue Sea, so it's not surprising that they knew about it."
Enel casually explained, "They're supposed to leave tomorrow, and the Shandians will launch another attack, so the entire island is open to you tomorrow."
"It doesn't matter if you're undergoing trials there, and you don't need to care about the rules. Just cause a ruckus!"
Enel leaned lazily against the large bed at the shrine, taking another bite of his apple. "In fact, the Ark Maxim is complete. It's time to learn about it on this island."
Upon hearing this, everyone else at the shrine, except for the three trusted priests and the chief priest, looked completely bewildered.
Enel smiled broadly and said, "Let's set off together for that dream world."
The next day.
Shiraishi woke up and walked to the shore to look at the Going Merry, which had been simply repaired.
Merry! It's a pity that, apart from Usopp, we'll never see him again...
In an instant, a small figure wearing a hood and carrying a wooden mallet appeared beside the mainmast, hidden in the morning mist.
"Hey, get up quickly." Shiraishi called out softly as he watched Merry's Klabautermann appear.
"What's wrong? What's wrong?" Usopp looked around in fright.
When Merry's Klabautermann saw that everyone had gotten up, it disappeared.
"You've made too much noise," Shiraishi sighed softly.
"Ah, the boat is repaired! I definitely didn't see wrong last night, I'm definitely not dreaming!"
Usopp stared at the ship, his face full of disbelief.
"Indeed, I never expected that an elf would be born on this ship."
Shiraishi nodded, then added, "It's a pity you won't see her."
"What did you see?"
Zoro looked somewhat puzzled.
"Was she on the boat just now?"
Sanji looked around.
Zoro asked in surprise, "Is this the Going Merry that the guy helped repair?"
Shiraishi and Usopp exclaimed in unison, "It's Merry!"
" Merry? Oh, that's impossible. How could Mr. Merry have followed us all the way to the Grand Line, even taken to the skies with us, and then helped us repair our ship overnight?"
Nami spread her hands.
Luffy over and saw the repaired Going Merry, shouting, " The Going Merry is fixed!"
The group boarded the boat together, took a quick look, and confirmed that it could indeed sail, though their skills weren't particularly good.
"There's an unusual aura on the ship. It's true it's filled with elves, but how could your rough sailing have produced any elves...?"
Shiraishi touched the repeatedly mended deck.
Luffy smiled and said, "Because the Going Merry has always been our partner."
" The Going Merry needs to be repaired by professionals."
Usopp's words were met with unanimous agreement; the ship was indeed incredibly dilapidated.
After resolving the issue, the group split into three groups.
Retsu Unohana and Shiraishi's outing team.
The second is an adventure team consisting of Luffy, Zoro, Chopper, and Robin.
Thirdly, there was the ship-watching team consisting of Usopp, Nami, and Sanji.
The four members of the adventure team will travel south from above the Altar of Sacrifice to the right eye of the skull to find and take the gold.
Meanwhile, the fleet sailed the Going Merry to the upper shore of Island of God to await the adventurers and outing crew.
Once the two teams reunited, they escaped the Sky Island and returned to the Blue Sea.
"Okay, let's go!" Nami shouted.
However, they hadn't gone far.
"Hey Zoro, where are you going? That's the opposite direction, west is this way!"
Luffy yelled at Zoro, speechless, "I give up, you're so hopeless about directions."
"Don't call me directionally challenged!" Zoro shouted angrily. "Besides, it clearly says it's the skull's right eye, so of course it's to the east!"
Go tell them we're going south.
Robin asked Chopper to pass on her message.
"Oh, so it's to the south! Why didn't you say so earlier!" Luffy turned around and smiled.
After briefly getting lost, the four continued south.
After a while, nothing happened.
Chopper said, "I used to think this forest was terrifying, but now I realize it's not so bad after all, haha."
"Oh, Chopper, you were so brave today," Luffy said with a grin.
"Really? Hahaha." Chopper was delighted.
Zoro spoke up, "But to be honest, I'm disappointed. When we went into the forest yesterday, we didn't encounter anything, not even a single priest. Chopper, I understand how you feel."
"That's exactly what I meant, hahaha."
Chopper was very pleased with himself.
"You people are so strange, you're just hoping something bad will happen," Robin said with a smile.
In an instant, a gigantic python appeared, its body thicker than a tree, its mouth wide enough to swallow thirty Luffy.
"Hiss hiss hiss~~~"
"Run! The giant snake is coming!"
Luffy shouted something.
"Whoa!" Chopper cried out in terror at the sight of the giant python.
"It's so big! Is this also due to the environment of the Sky Island?"
Robin stared at the giant python, lost in thought, and said that she felt the Sky Island might have some special geographical features.
Zoro drew his sword and said, "Hmph, to me it's just an earthworm. I can chop it into eight pieces just the same!"
Before Zoro could even attack, the giant python charged at them with incredible speed, biting into a giant tree and instantly corroding it with its venom.
Luffy exclaimed excitedly, "How terrifying!!"
