• Huo Yuhao awoke in a Shrek City inn, considered his next move, and resolved to find Jiang Nannan and ask what Qian Renxue had done while using his body.
• Huo Yuhao decided to leave Shrek Academy, avoid the other factions, and seek support from the Soul Beast Clan.
• Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi drank together and celebrated when they heard Zhou Yi had expelled Huo Yuhao.
• A patrolling senior told Bei Bei and Xu Sanshi that Zhou Yi had been suspended and Dean Yan wanted Huo Yuhao brought back to Shrek Academy.
• The patrolling senior spotted Huo Yuhao passing below the restaurant and ordered the area locked down.

Yan Shaozhe summoned Huo Yuhao and pressured him to return to Shrek Academy, but Huo Yuhao refused and called on Electrolux to protect him. Electrolux took control of Huo Yuhao’s presence and condemned Yan Shaozhe for wielding the power of light without a worthy heart.

• Yan Shaozhe told Huo Yuhao that his expulsion had been rescinded and offered him the benefits of returning to Shrek Academy, but Huo Yuhao refused.
• Yan Shaozhe warned Huo Yuhao about the dangers of leaving and used his Soul Power to pressure him into joining Shrek.

Electrolux nearly stripped Yan Shaozhe of his power before Mu En intervened and compensated Huo Yuhao for Shrek Academy’s wrongdoing. Huo Yuhao refused to return to the academy but agreed to examine Ma Xiaotao’s Evil Fire, discovering its corruption with his Spiritual Detection.

• Yan Shaozhe attacked Electrolux with his Bright Phoenix, but Electrolux used light magic to draw out the light origin in Yan Shaozhe’s Martial Soul.
• Mu En separated Electrolux and Yan Shaozhe, offered Huo Yuhao a Light’s Demon-Breaking Left Arm Bone, and promised to punish Zhou Yi; Huo Yuhao accepted the compensation but refused to return to Shrek Academy.

Tang Ya and Jiang Nannan then discussed Huo Yuhao's strange behavior and Tang Ya's past with him, though Tang Ya concealed how she had tried to seduce him when he was ten.

• Mu En told Yan Shaozhe to let Xiaotao grow close to Huo Yuhao and not interfere if they developed feelings for each other.
• Zhang Lexuan found Bei Bei drunk and heard him lament that Tang Ya could not forget Huo Yuhao; Bei Bei then told Zhang Lexuan he regarded her only as an older sister.

• Huo Yuhao met Jiang Nannan and Tang Ya with Ma Xiaotao and said he planned to leave after helping Ma Xiaotao purify her Evil Fire.

• Wang Dong returned to Shrek Academy with Tai Tan, who destroyed the gates, fountain, statue, and other property at her command.
• Tai Tan struck Yan Shaozhe and told Mu En that Shrek had bullied and expelled the Clear Sky Sect’s little princess.
• Mu En apologized, agreed to punish Zhou Yi, and removed Yan Shaozhe as dean of the Martial Soul Department.

• Jiang Nannan rushed in to check on Huo Yuhao, and Tang Ya followed, finding the dorm room burned and seeing him embrace Jiang Nannan.
