Huo Yuhao’s childhood on the Douluo Continent was marked by his mother’s early death, his father’s abandonment, and bullying in the Duke’s Mansion. He eventually became a God King, with experience in physical combat, self-created Soul Skills, pill refinement, and Soul Tool production 3 6 9 19.

He exhausted his divine power to reach the world where his teacher, Electrolux, had lived. The crossing depleted most of his divine soul, and he began reconstructing a physical body only after arriving. His absorption of ambient energy created a gigantic tornado around his newly formed, infant-like body 1.

Yang Haoyu rescued him in the Far North, discovered his pure Ice Elemental Body, and brought him to Imperial Dragon Pass. Huo Yuhao concealed his unusual knowledge and abilities while adapting to his body under Yang Haoyu’s care 2.

Electrolux’s Legacy

After learning the Holy Demon Continent’s history, Huo Yuhao discovered that Electrolux’s undead army had devastated humanity in a civil war, destroying many experts and inheritances before the Demon Clan’s arrival. He refused to believe his teacher was simply bloodthirsty and resolved to investigate the circumstances himself 2.

Resurrecting Electrolux remained his goal, but the hostility surrounding necromancy forced him to conceal it. His later effort to make magical equipment accessible to ordinary people was also intended as atonement for his teacher’s impact on the continent 2 25.

Training at Imperial Dragon Pass

Yang Haoyu began teaching him basic stances and sword handling soon after he could stand. Over the following five years, Huo Yuhao never missed a day of training and routinely adapted demonstrated movements to suit his own body 2 3.

Huo Yuhao initially left with Long Xingyu, but continued independently after the Divine Seal Knight departed. Rather than travel directly to the Holy City, he detoured through the Demon Defense Mountain Range, fighting hundreds of magical beasts and selling valuable remains to fund his supplies 11 13.

Near Odin Town, he intervened when eight Wolf Demons pursued Cai’er. He killed seven Fourth-Tier demons and defeated their Fifth-Tier leader through coordinated swordsmanship, ice magic, and terrain control 17 18 20.

Afterward, he challenged the way Cai’er’s elders treated her. An Eighth-Tier assassin tested him while restricting his own combat strength; Huo Yuhao resisted the elder’s Fifth-Tier techniques, but was knocked unconscious when the elder escalated to Sixth-Tier strength 19 20.

Haoyue City and Equipment Development

In Haoyue City, Huo Yuhao rented a courtyard house and converted its backyard sheds into spaces for smithing, pill refinement, and cultivation. His Spiritual Energy Lamps attracted commercial attention, leading to negotiations with Lin Jialu and Li Xin 21 22.

The Magic Temple subsequently sought his equipment blueprints for large-scale production. Huo Yuhao wanted its alchemists and manufacturing capacity to help combine Douluo Soul Tool principles with local alchemy, lower production costs, and distribute useful equipment without consuming all his cultivation time 24 25.

Knight Sacred Mountain and Gu Yuena

After reaching the Fifth Tier, Huo Yuhao went to Knight Sacred Mountain to find a suitable magical beast partner. His encounter with Gu Yuena led to an Equal Contract and a blood exchange. Her transfusion saved him and altered his elemental constitution. To protect her identity as the Silver Dragon King, he proposed that she live publicly as his younger sister 37 38 40.

The two returned to the Holy City after two months of travel. There, Saint Moon asked Huo Yuhao to spend time with Cai’er, hoping his influence could help repair her relationship with her family. Huo Yuhao agreed to visit her, bringing Gu Yuena along 40 41.

He is cautious about revealing his past. He hides his necromantic interests, conceals his Soul Spirits from powerful observers, and withholds the details of his confrontation with Cai’er’s guardian. He initially denies having rescued Cai’er when Saint Moon questions him, preferring to avoid an uncertain situation 2 9 20 41.

His childhood suffering makes him particularly sensitive to emotional neglect. Recognizing hatred and isolation in Cai’er, he argues that strength cannot repair the damage caused by a loveless upbringing. He also quickly develops a protective attachment to Gu Yuena after she accepts him as her older brother 19 40.

Although ambitious enough to promise an end to humanity’s dark age, he is not concerned solely with personal advancement. His equipment research aims to benefit ordinary people, and he hopes eventually to return to the Douluo Continent with Gu Yuena and resolve the conflict between humans and Soul Beasts 19 25 40.
