Displacement and Revival

Tang Yuhao is the original owner of the body taken over by the transmigrator Zhang San, who subsequently lives as Huo Yuhao. Tang San discovers that the original soul has been forcibly separated from its body and is close to dissipating. He retrieves it into the Divine Realm, erases its memories, and replaces them with memories of life as a Tang Sect disciple 1 17.

Unable to conveniently revive and return him from the Divine Realm, Tang San entrusts the soul to Ah Yin. She draws upon the Golden Tree and the Douluo Plane’s origin of life to form a new body. The boy awakens believing his name is Tang Yuhao and declares his intention to restore the Tang Sect. His child-of-fortune destiny accompanies his resurrected soul 17.

Joining Shrek Academy

His implanted memories identify him as a member of a Tang Sect branch and name his deceased parents as Tang Xin and Tang Shi’er. Although his memories feel hazy, he heads to Shrek Academy. There, Tang Ya accepts him as a Tang Sect descendant and tells him that the sect has been destroyed, prompting him to swear revenge. Bei Bei then guides him through an assessment administered by Du Weilun, securing his admission 18 20.

Tang Yuhao clashes with his roommate Wang Dong over her dormitory rules. After defeating her, he makes her responsible for cleaning until she can beat him. Their relationship later softens: he begins sharing the chores, gives her grilled fish, and develops a Martial Soul Fusion Skill with her 20 28.

Abduction and the First Meeting

During Shrek’s encounter with the Death Messenger, Tang Yuhao is abducted and taken to a cave to be refined into a corpse slave. The Death Messenger recognizes a suppressed talent resembling his own, but golden power erupts from Tang Yuhao’s body and kills him before the refinement can proceed 28 29.

Huo Yuhao witnesses the aftermath and uses an illusion created by Electrolux to question him. Tang Yuhao’s instinctive identification of himself by his new name convinces Huo Yuhao that his memories have been reset. Tang Yuhao, meanwhile, feels that something belonging to him has been taken away. Xuan Zi subsequently finds him and returns him to Shrek’s group 29 30.

Tournament and Search for Answers

After Xiao Xiao asks whether Huo Yuhao is his older brother, Tang Yuhao begins searching for him. He eventually waits in the tournament hotel’s corridor and questions Huo Yuhao about their names, resemblance, Martial Souls, and strange connection. Huo Yuhao denies feeling any connection and threatens to kill him if he continues. Tang Yuhao withdraws without receiving an explanation 31 32 33.

In the match against Zhengtian Academy, Tang Yuhao and Wang Dong’s fusion skill fails to secure an immediate victory. His Blue Silver Emperor then displays stronger blood-devouring properties, allowing him to recover and win with Wang Dong’s cooperation. Later, at the Starlight Auction, he experiences an intense bodily craving while viewing the weakened Golden Hawksbill Turtle carrying the Gold of Life, but the bidding price prevents him from pursuing it 33 34.

Appearance

Tang Yuhao’s newly created face is approximately seventy percent similar to Huo Yuhao’s, with the remaining features resembling Ah Yin 17.

Personality

Tang Yuhao is devoted to the Tang Sect under the identity supplied by his implanted memories. News of its destruction leaves him trembling with anger, although Tang Ya urges him to become stronger before seeking revenge. He also accepts his tournament responsibilities despite wanting to investigate his connection to Huo Yuhao 20 32.

He is persistent when confronted with gaps in his identity. Huo Yuhao’s hostility initially makes him more suspicious rather than frightened, but he ultimately recognizes that forcing entry into his room would leave Shrek without justification for defending him. His treatment of Wang Dong also becomes less domineering over time, as he voluntarily takes on part of their shared chores 28 32 33.
