Ch. 21Azure Dragon vs. Black Kun

Leijia and Uhtred fought at full strength over the sea near Black Kun Island, testing Leijia’s power against Uhtred’s Destruction Element attacks. When Leijia unleashed Dragon Roar and Uhtred answered with Soul Prison, Uhtred’s Innate Divine Ability failed to affect him.

  • Uhtred challenged Leijia to a full-strength fight, and Leijia accepted despite knowing he was likely to lose.
  • Leijia struck first with his lightning-charged heavy sword, but Uhtred blocked it with his spear and inflicted a minor injury.
  • Uhtred pressed his attack, and Leijia partially transformed into a dragon to withstand the force of his spear.
  • When Uhtred thrust at Leijia’s chest, Leijia unleashed his Innate Divine Ability, Dragon Roar, slowing everything around him.
  • Uhtred revealed the shadow of his Black Kun true form and used Soul Prison, but his Innate Divine Ability failed against Leijia.

Ch. 22Life Overgod Plane

Leijia concealed the true nature of his time-controlling Dragon Roar from Uhtred, then chose the Life Overgod Plane and arrived there safely. He studied Uhtred’s maps and decided to head south toward the known God Level tribe.

  • Leijia let Uhtred believe his innate divine ability was called Absolute Slow and accepted Uhtred’s praise after their fight.
  • Uhtred showed Leijia the three teleportation arrays and gave him rough maps of the Life Overgod Plane.
  • Leijia chose the Life Overgod Plane, activated its teleportation array, and departed while Uhtred wished him well.
  • Leijia arrived in the lush Life Divine Realm and used Uhtred’s maps to identify his location near the third teleportation array.
  • Leijia chose to travel south toward the tribe Uhtred had explored, judging it safer than the unknown routes to the east, west, and north.

Ch. 23Heavenly Wind Tribe

Leijia reached the Life Divine Realm and visited the Heavenly Wind Tribe after Milo invited him to join. He refused to enter the tribe's guard army but accepted a token and learned that members had to earn merit to maintain their place.

  • Leijia detected the Heavenly Wind Tribe, where Milo approached him and invited him to join.
  • Milo told Leijia about the twelve tribes near the teleportation array and led him to the Heavenly Wind Tribe.
  • At the tribe, Milo introduced Leijia to Old Neil and asked for merit for recruiting him.
  • Old Neil offered Leijia a place in the guard army, but Leijia declined and received a tribal token instead.
  • Old Neil explained that members had to earn merit to renew their tokens every hundred years, and Leijia decided he could trade divine artifacts if needed.

Ch. 24Lightning Element Highgod

Leijia broke through from Midgod to Highgod after fusing most of the fourth profound mystery of the Lightning Element. He emerged to find the Heavenly Wind Tribe’s three Highgods waiting to congratulate him.

  • Milo brought his merits to Old Neil and told him he had hunted patrol squads from the Blazing Mountain Tribe.
  • Old Neil warned Milo to stop attacking the patrols, then mentioned that Leijia had used up his merits and might soon be forced to leave seclusion.
  • Milo offered to cover Leijia’s debt, but the Laws of the Universe descended upon Leijia’s house as he broke through to Highgod.
  • Old Neil and Milo flew toward Leijia’s house, while the Heavenly Wind Tribe’s three other Highgods arrived ahead of them.
  • Leijia emerged and revealed that he had fused most of the Lightning Element’s fourth profound mystery; the Heavenly Wind leader congratulated him and expressed surprise that he had broken through first.

Ch. 25Researching Innate Divine Abilities

Leijia became a deputy chief of the Heavenly Wind Tribe and summoned its Divine Beasts to research their bloodlines and Innate Divine Abilities, hoping to help the Four Divine Beasts recover their Combined Innate Divine Ability. The chapter ended as the Blazing Mountain Tribe's chief interrupted his training to hear a report.

  • Leijia assessed the Heavenly Wind Tribe's weak Highgods while its chief hoped Leijia could help resist the Blazing Mountain Tribe.
  • The Heavenly Wind chief made Leijia a deputy chief and provided him with a new residence and access to the tribe's resources.
  • Leijia summoned the tribe's Divine Beasts and began studying their bloodlines and Innate Divine Abilities.
  • The narration explained that Redding was researching the Four Divine Beasts' Combined Innate Divine Ability because they could no longer use it after becoming gods.
  • A Fire Element Midgod praised the Blazing Mountain chief for improving his strength, and the chief demanded that he get to the point.

Ch. 26Assault

Chief Lieshan launched a planned assault on the Heavenly Wind Tribe, and Leijia joined the battle as its newly advanced Highgod. The attackers killed one of the tribe’s Highgods, another deputy chief fled, and Chief Tianfeng remained occupied fighting Lieshan.

  • Chief Lieshan learned that a Heavenly Wind Tribe Midgod had advanced to Highgod and ordered preparations for an attack in one year.
  • A year later, Chief Lieshan and allied Highgods attacked the Heavenly Wind Tribe while Leijia was researching in his courtyard.
  • Chief Lieshan’s forces surrounded the tribe’s four Highgods, and a staff-wielding Highgod offered Leijia a chance to escape while pretending to fight.
  • Chief Lieshan overpowered Chief Tianfeng, while three attackers destroyed a deputy chief’s defensive artifact and killed him.
  • A Blazing Mountain Tribe Highgod claimed the dead deputy chief’s High Godhead and artifacts, and the other deputy chief fled the battle.

Ch. 27Seven Kills with One Sword

Leijia killed seven Highgods with one sword and quickly overwhelmed Chief Lieshan, turning the battle against the Blazing Mountain Tribe into a decisive victory. He accepted Lieshan’s surrender, while Chief Tianfeng also submitted, and sent both chiefs to collect the fallen Highgods’ belongings.

  • Leijia shattered the staff-wielding Highgod’s weapon and killed him with a lightning-infused sword strike.
  • Leijia killed seven Highgods at once, while Chief Lieshan escaped by switching to his hidden Divine Clone.
  • Chief Lieshan fled, but Leijia caught up and struck him down, leaving him unable to fight or escape.
  • Leijia offered Chief Lieshan the choice to surrender or die, and Lieshan bowed and pledged his submission.
  • Chief Tianfeng bowed to Leijia, who ordered both chiefs to gather the fallen Highgods’ interspatial rings and divine artifacts.

Ch. 28Amethyst Mountains

Leijia ordered the Heavenly Wind and Lieshan tribes to unite the twelve tribes, while Redding and his companions reached the Amethyst Mountains and found a vast deposit of Amethyst. The group began collecting the treasure and strengthening their souls.

  • Leijia took the Heaven and Earth Wonders from Chief Lieshan's ring, gave Chief Tianfeng the High Godheads and divine artifacts to distribute, and ordered Chief Lieshan to announce an alliance of the twelve tribes.
  • Chief Lieshan warned Leijia that the larger tribes might resist, and Leijia said he would make them agree.
  • After thousands of years of travel, Redding, Laius, Bowen, Nemo, and Pash entered the Amethyst Mountains' Mist Sea and pressed deeper despite its poor visibility, soul-attacking sound, and increasing gravity.
  • A month later, Redding and his companions found a massive pit surrounded by piles of Amethyst, and Bowen rushed to collect it while Redding began absorbing its energy to strengthen his soul.

Ch. 29Attaining Godhood in Fate

After a thousand years of gathering Amethysts, Nemo, Laius, Pash, and Bowen shifted their focus to absorbing them while Redding continued cultivating. Redding attained godhood in the Fate Element, adding a new divine clone and leaving Bowen at his side.

  • Nemo tracked a thousand years of cultivation as Laius, Pash, and Bowen gathered a huge harvest of Amethysts from the pit.
  • The three filled their spatial rings, returned to the Amethyst mountains, and joined Nemo in deciding to stop gathering and absorb their stockpile.
  • Bowen took the first guard shift while the others began absorbing Amethysts, leaving his earth elemental divine clone on watch.
  • Ten years later, Redding attained godhood externally in the Fate Element and formed a Fate Divine Clone.
  • Redding considered the strength of his five bodies, and Bowen flew to his side as the others continued cultivating undisturbed.

Ch. 30Leiyuan

Redding and Bowen met Leiyuan, an Amethyst Divine Beast and husband of Sovereign Zijing, in the Amethyst Mountains. Months later, Redding and Leiyuan fought in their true forms while their companions watched.

  • Redding's Fate Divine Clone warned him that the approaching visitor meant no harm, so he and Bowen went to meet him.
  • The visitor introduced himself as Leiyuan, and Redding and Bowen learned that he and Zijing were both Amethyst Divine Beasts.
  • Over the following months, Leiyuan and Redding trained together in the Amethyst pit and exchanged more than a hundred weapon strikes.
  • Leiyuan transformed into his Amethyst Divine Beast form, and Redding revealed his Azure Dragon Saint Domain True Body.
  • Redding and Leiyuan fought without dodging, while Laius, Pash, Bowen, Nemo, and Zijing watched and Nemo remarked on the Amethyst Divine Beasts' tough bodies.

Ch. 31Upheaval in the Heavens and Earth

After becoming a Highgod, Redding joined his companions to investigate a mysterious pillar of divine light said to be nurturing a Heaven and Earth Wonder. They reached the site and found over a hundred Highgods gathered, while the wonder remained hidden inside the impenetrable light.

  • Redding and Leiyuan fought in their true divine beast forms for over a thousand exchanges before withdrawing and calling a truce.
  • Fifty thousand years later, Redding's Fate Element Divine Clone broke through to become a Highgod.
  • Laius, Pash, Nemo, Zijing, and her husband joined Redding to celebrate, and Leiyuan told them about a strange pillar of divine light outside the Amethyst Mountains.
  • Redding and his companions set out to investigate the Heaven and Earth Wonder, leaving Bowen behind to comprehend Profound Mysteries.
  • Five days later, Redding and the others reached the pillar and found more than a hundred Highgods gathered around it.

Ch. 32Two Sovereign Sparks

Redding and the others waited for the divine-light pillar around a heaven and earth wonder to fade, while he struggled to fuse a sixth profound mystery. When the barrier vanished, two crystals appeared, and Redding suspected they were Sovereign Sparks.

  • Redding and the others learned from an Earth Elemental System Highgod that the pillar of divine light was steadily weakening and would eventually disappear.
  • Redding chose to wait for the barrier to fade, and his group took turns keeping watch and cultivating as more God Level experts gathered.
  • After a thousand years, Redding still could not find a way to fuse his final profound mystery with the five he had already combined.
  • Black Tortoise Bowen joined the group, and several years later the pillar of light vanished, revealing two dark-purple crystals above a stone platform.
  • Redding recognized the crystals' powerful auras and wondered if they were Sovereign Sparks, which his four siblings would need in four elements to use their Fusion Innate Divine Ability as Sovereigns.

Ch. 33In Hand

Redding and his companions fought through a crowd of God Level experts to seize two crystals, which Redding recognized as Sovereign Sparks of the Destruction Element. Pash refined one and discovered the power of the Sovereign’s Might of the Will, using it to kill the Highgods attacking them.

  • A Wind Element Highgod raced for the crystals, but lightning tore apart his wings, and the gathered God Level experts began attacking one another amid the scramble.
  • Redding led Bowen, Leiyuan, Zijing, Nemo, Laius, and Pash through the attackers, using Bowen’s Seal and his own Dragon Roar to shield the group and slow their pursuers.
  • Nemo pulled both crystals from the stone platform, and Redding identified their destructive aura before telling Pash to bind one.
  • Pash’s blood triggered the crystal, which entered his forehead and was revealed to him as a Sovereign Spark; Redding recognized what it was.
  • When Highgods called for a joint attack, Pash unleashed the Sovereign’s Might of the Will, stripping their souls from their Divine Sparks and causing their attacks to dissipate.

Ch. 34Earth, Fire, Water, and Wind

Redding gave the remaining Destruction Sovereign Spark to Zijing, who refined it and became a mid-level Sovereign. After returning to the Amethyst Mountains, Redding learned that four Sovereign Sparks suited to him and his siblings had been found in the Star Mist Sea, and he hurried to secure them.

  • Pash explained how refining a Sovereign Spark had let him kill over a thousand Highgods with a thought, and Redding gave the remaining spark to Leiyuan and Zijing.
  • Leiyuan chose to let Zijing refine the Destruction Sovereign Spark because she had only one Divine Clone and might not get another spark suited to her.
  • Zijing refined the spark and became a mid-level Sovereign, while Redding identified Pash's spark as lower rank.
  • Zijing and Pash used their Might of the Will to carry Redding and the others back to the Amethyst Mountains, where Redding resumed fusing the Water Law's profound mysteries.
  • Two and a half years later, Laius reported that a Highgod had brought four Sovereign Sparks—earth, fire, water, and wind—to Crimson Island.
  • Redding told Laius to keep the sparks secure on Crimson Island and said they would leave at once to meet Pash there.

Ch. 35Refining the Sovereign Sparks

Redding and his three siblings refined four Sovereign Sparks on Crimson Island, becoming Lower Sovereigns and joining Pash and Zijing in a powerful new faction. The group tested the Sparks’ effects, while Leiyuan prepared to challenge Laius’s Will-empowered Divine Clone.

  • Pash escorted Redding and his siblings to Crimson Island with Zijing and Leiyuan, where Laius had prepared four Sovereign Sparks.
  • Redding distributed the Sparks by element, and he and his siblings refined them simultaneously, becoming Lower Sovereigns.
  • Redding recognized that the Sparks’ ranks matched what he remembered and considered forming a Sovereign faction with his allies, despite the risk of antagonizing Uhtred.
  • Laius and Bowen described the Might of the Will and its boost to their Divine Clones, while Leiyuan asked to test the effect.
  • Laius sent out his Destruction Element Divine Clone, and Leiyuan raised his Highgod Artifact staff after sensing the clone’s threat.

Ch. 36The Beautiful Vivian

Leijia’s forces retreated from a chaotic battle over Sovereign Sparks in the Life Divine Realm, and he encountered the powerful woman Vivian. Recognizing her as the future Life Sovereign, he faced her request for help as enemies pursued her.

  • Leiyuan attacked Laius’s Destruction Divine Clone, but Laius stopped his staff with one hand and sent him reeling.
  • Redding and Laius reassured Leiyuan that the group could find him a compatible Sovereign Spark or hunt down a Sovereign.
  • Leijia led his injured followers away after a battle for ten Sovereign Sparks, having seized two and lost three to a spatial rift.
  • A group of God Level experts pursued Vivian, and she asked Leijia to let her pass.
  • Leijia recognized Vivian as the woman who would become the Life Sovereign.

Ch. 37Sovereign Sparks Again

Leijia drove off the Highgods pursuing Vivian, then learned she had two Life Element Sovereign Sparks. He chose to seek an exchange rather than attack her, and after they secured their conduct with an Overgod Oath, he began revealing the Sparks’ secret.

  • A leading Highgod asked Leijia not to interfere in his dispute with Vivian, but Leijia surrounded him and his followers with his own God Level experts.
  • The Highgod led his group away, and Vivian thanked Leijia for protecting her.
  • Vivian explained that the Highgods had hunted her for the crystals from the pillar of light and said she had obtained two.
  • Vivian showed Leijia the two emerald-green Life Element Sovereign Sparks, and he considered but rejected attacking her to take them.
  • Leijia proposed a deal to tell Vivian what the crystals were for, secured an Overgod Oath from both of them, and then told her everything about the Sovereign Sparks.

Ch. 38Sovereign Leijia

Leijia and Vivian refined the Life Sovereign Sparks, becoming Sovereigns, and Leijia gained a Mid-level Life Sovereign Spark while Vivian received a High-level one. Vivian declined Leijia’s offer of a Dark Sovereign Spark but accepted his invitation to travel with him to his tribe.

  • Leijia and Vivian each refined a Life Sovereign Spark, and the pressure of their new Sovereign power overwhelmed the Highgods nearby.
  • Leijia discovered that his Life Sovereign Spark was Mid-level and realized Vivian had refined the High-level Spark.
  • Leijia offered Vivian a Dark Sovereign Spark, but she refused it because she already had a Life Sovereign Spark and felt Leijia had helped her enough.
  • Leijia invited Vivian to his tribe, and after considering the value of having trusted companions, she accepted.

Ch. 39Return to the Skyrite Mountains

Redding returned with his siblings to the Skyrite Mountains, their birthplace, and decided to establish a city there as a home and stronghold for the Four Divine Beasts. With help from the other Sovereigns, he built a fortified city near the mountains in ten days.

  • Redding surveyed the Skyrite Mountains and found only a little over a hundred Highgods, a scarcity caused in part by the Four Divine Beasts driving away or killing the range’s powerful inhabitants.
  • Redding proposed building a city near the Skyrite Mountains, and Laius, Pash, the Four Divine Beasts, Zijing, and her husband supported the plan.
  • The six Sovereigns chose an open plain near the mountains and raised the city walls using earth, wind, fire, water, and Destruction Sovereign’s Might.
  • Redding led the others in building residential districts and planning marketplaces, and they completed a city for tens of millions of people in ten days.

Ch. 40Heavenly Sacrifice City

Redding and the other Sovereigns completed Heavenly Sacrifice City, which prospered over the next two hundred thousand years. When the Laws of the Universe summoned all Water Sovereigns to create the Water Divine Plane, Sovereigns across the Four Overgod Planes entered the Spatial Turbulence.

  • Redding and the others named their new city Heavenly Sacrifice City.
  • Over two hundred thousand years, Heavenly Sacrifice City grew to tens of millions of residents, and Redding established Inkstone currency, a Fiend Castle, and a garrison.
  • Leiyuan refined the Mid-level Earth Elemental System Sovereign Spark that Leijia had found in the Life Divine Realm.
  • The Laws of the Universe ordered all Water Sovereigns to gather in the Spatial Turbulence and create the Water Divine Plane.
  • Redding gathered Laius, Pash, and the other Four Divine Beasts, then led them into the Spatial Turbulence with Zijing and Leiyuan to follow.
  • Vivian and Leijia entered the Spatial Turbulence, as did Uhtred and nearly all the other Sovereigns of the Four Overgod Planes.
