"This!"
Everyone present except Redding stared in astonishment, their mouths hanging open.
With a single thought, over a thousand Highgods had all fallen. Among those thousand Highgods, quite a few had fused three or four profound mysteries. No matter how strong Redding and the others were, they would have had to put in some effort to kill them in battle.
Now, with a single thought, Pash had dealt with so many God Level experts. Just what was this Heaven and Earth Wonder?
For a moment, their curiosity about the Sovereign Spark reached its peak, and they all turned their eyes to the remaining crystal in Nemo's hand.
Pash cleared his throat and explained, "This crystal is called a Sovereign Spark. It seems a Divine Clone can only refine one. After I refined it..."
Pash briefly explained to them the information he had received from refining the Sovereign Spark.
Leiyuan's eyes lit up at once. Refining a Sovereign Spark meant becoming a lofty Sovereign.
As soon as the thought arose, it was as though a bucket of cold water had been poured over Leiyuan's head.
There were so many people present, but only one Sovereign Spark remained. How to divide it was a problem in itself.
Besides, the Sovereign Spark was still in Nemo's hands. Even if someone refined it, Redding and his siblings would probably be first.
Just as Leiyuan was at a loss, Redding's words left him incredulous the next second.
"Leiyuan, this Sovereign Spark is for you and Zijing."
Redding's words made Leiyuan's eyes go wide.
Redding continued, "Sovereign Sparks must have appeared in more than one place. Countless Sovereigns will undoubtedly emerge. Our most urgent task is to seize enough Sovereign Sparks before that happens."
As he spoke, Redding sent Nemo a Soul Transmission, telling her to hand the Sovereign Spark to Leiyuan.
Taking the Sovereign Spark Nemo handed him, Leiyuan smiled. "Redding, you're right. Then I won't stand on ceremony. Next, we'll go fight for Sovereign Sparks."
Redding knew full well that, in his memories of his previous life, the Four Divine Beasts had been too arrogant and looked down on every Sovereign. In the end, all four had fallen, and the Four Divine Beasts Clan had been defeated, with not a single Sovereign willing to lend a hand.
In this life, Redding had long since made a plan. Not only would he and his three siblings possess strength comparable to a Sovereign-level expert, but he would also build a faction of Sovereigns with the four of them at its core.
Obtaining a High-level Sovereign Spark required tremendous luck. Even if they were fortunate enough to obtain one, once the balance between ranks was broken, a single High-level Sovereign would be less of a deterrent than four Lower Sovereigns using their Fusion Innate Divine Ability.
He and his siblings would be better off being practical. Even if they set their sights on Lower Sovereign Sparks, their Fusion Innate Divine Ability would make them comparable to Sovereign-level experts.
Their friendship of tens of thousands of years had given Redding a clear understanding of Zijing and her husband's character. Thus, he felt comfortable entrusting the Sovereign Spark to them in exchange for the two of them joining his core faction.
After some discussion, Leiyuan still felt that the Sovereign Spark should be given to Zijing to refine.
This Sovereign Spark belonged to the Destruction Element. To refine it, one needed a Destruction Element Highgod Divine Clone.
Among them, only Laius, Pash, Leiyuan, and Zijing had Destruction Element Highgod Divine Clones.
Of those four, Pash had already refined a Sovereign Spark, while Laius's Divine Clone was stationed on Crimson Island. That was also one reason Redding had handed the Sovereign Spark to Zijing and her husband without hesitation.
As for why Leiyuan gave the Sovereign Spark to Zijing to refine, it was because, when he became a god, he had chosen External Godhood, then persuaded Zijing to choose Internal Godhood because of the pain of splitting his soul.
As a result, Leiyuan had two Divine Clones, one of the Earth Elemental System and one of the Destruction Element, while Zijing had only a Destruction Element Divine Clone.
Considering that they might not be able to obtain another Destruction Element Sovereign Spark in the future, Leiyuan chose to leave this one for Zijing to refine.
Drip!
A drop of blood fell and was instantly absorbed by the crystalline Sovereign Spark.
The refined Sovereign Spark entered Sovereign Zijing's forehead, and an intense pressure radiated from her.
Sensing the pressure radiating from Sovereign Zijing, Pash was somewhat puzzled. "Zijing, the pressure coming from you seems much stronger than mine."
Although the Sovereign Sparks gave their refiners some information, they did not tell them about the differences in rank and strength between Sovereign Sparks.
Redding spoke up from the side. "Of course there's a difference. Just like God Level experts, Sovereign Sparks are divided into three ranks: high, mid, and lower. If my guess is right, Pash, yours is a Destruction Element Lower Sovereign Spark, while Zijing's is a Destruction Element Mid-level Sovereign Spark."
As for the High-level Sovereign Spark, Uhtred had probably already gotten his hands on it.
Having obtained two Sovereign Sparks, none of them had any interest in staying there longer. With a thought, Zijing and Pash activated their Might of the Will, carrying Redding and the others with them.
A few seconds later, they returned to the Amethyst Mountains.
Stretching lazily, Redding smiled. "The Might of the Will of a Sovereign truly lives up to its reputation. The distance we flew in a single thought would have taken us days."
Redding felt no regret at not obtaining Sovereign Sparks suited to his and his siblings' affinities. Since advancing to Highgod in the Fate Element, his perception of fate had improved considerably.
Somewhere in the unseen, Redding felt that he and his three siblings would surely obtain Sovereign Sparks; the time simply had not yet come.
After a brief word with Leiyuan and the others, Redding returned to the cave residence he had carved out in the Amethyst Mountains and resumed his painstaking efforts to fuse the profound mysteries of the Water Law.
In the blink of an eye, another two and a half years passed.
Redding was attempting to break down the Fusion Profound Mysteries when a sudden ripple came from the divine power barrier he had set up outside.
Redding dispelled the barrier and walked out of his cave residence, only to see Laius hurrying toward him.
"Big brother, a message came from Crimson Island. There's news of Sovereign Sparks in the Star Mist Sea."
"Oh?" Redding raised an eyebrow. "Tell me the details."
Laius stepped up beside Redding and lowered his voice. "Big brother, didn't you have Crimson Island collect Heaven and Earth Wonders?"
Redding nodded slightly. Following his instructions, Laius's Destruction Divine Clone had remained stationed on Crimson Island all these years and had never stopped collecting Heaven and Earth Wonders. Even those who provided information about Heaven and Earth Wonders could receive a reward.
Laius continued, "Three months ago, a Highgod brought several crystalline objects to sell on the island. He said he had found them on an island in the Mist Sea. When I heard they had the same glow as the Sovereign Sparks we obtained before, I immediately offered to buy them."
Laius let out a strange breath. "Big brother, that man obtained four Sovereign Sparks in total. They're earth, fire, water, and wind-just right for the four of us."
At Laius's words, Redding, who had been calm until then, suddenly began breathing rapidly. "Where are the Sovereign Sparks now?"
Laius replied, "They're already on Crimson Island. My Destruction Element Divine Clone has put them in a spatial ring."
"Good." Redding's voice trembled slightly. "Don't let your Destruction Divine Clone take a single step off Crimson Island. Notify Pash at once. We're leaving for Crimson Island."
