"Mm... you're one of Enel's five priests..."

When Gan Fall saw Luo Chen appear, he immediately realized who he was and said this while staring at his face.

"Luo Chen. My name is Luo Chen, so remember it. I'm no longer a priest, so please don't call me that anymore."

"Huh?! You're Enel's subordinate who attacked us before, the one who gave Luffy and the others so much trouble."

Nami, Usopp and the others were startled as well. Remembering who he was, they spoke warily.

"Honestly, I told you, I'm not his subordinate anymore. Don't worry, I won't attack you again, so there's no need to react like that."

He shook his head, denying what they called him.

"Then why have you come here, now that you're no longer Enel's subordinate? Surely you're not after my head. Blue Sea man... Luo Chen."

Gan Fall remained seated cross-legged on the boat as he asked.

"Of course not. After I fought him, he acknowledged my decision to leave. We have nothing to do with each other anymore. Your head means nothing to me, so naturally I wouldn't do anything so unnecessary.

"I came here to ask you, the owners of this boat, to give me a ride when you leave."

Luo Chen sat down on the boat without ceremony and told them what he wanted.

"Tch. Even if you're no longer Enel's subordinate, we're still against giving you a ride."

Sanji seemed dissatisfied with what they had done before and refused outright. The other two were against it as well. They didn't want to set sail with someone whose identity and background they didn't know; there was nothing in it for them.

"Is that so? But I have the most accurate information! About the exact whereabouts of the City of Gold."

Having expected them to reject his request outright, Luo Chen wasn't disappointed. Instead, he offered a shocking piece of information, seemingly trying to entice them.

"Hey, even if you say that, we still..."

"Thud!!!"

Before Usopp could finish, Nami knocked him to the ground with a punch. Then she rubbed her hands and answered Luo Chen.

"We agree. You can stay. I can speak for them and agree to your request, so..."

Nami agreed without a care.

"Of course. Since you've agreed to let me stay, I'll tell you what I know. The City of Gold really does exist, but it's all in Enel's hands now. He used those mountains of gold to build a massive ship, the Ark Maxim."

Luo Chen told them everything he had learned.

"Then doesn't that mean the gold is all gone?"

Hearing that Enel had already found the gold and used it to build a massive ship, Nami clutched the railing and urgently questioned him.

"No, perhaps there's some left that Enel didn't find. After all, four hundred years have passed. Some of the gold may have been scattered by the rising current."

Luo Chen knew what she meant and shook his head, giving her a noncommittal answer.

"How could this happen?!!!"

Nami slumped dejectedly to the ground and spoke in dismay.

"Hahaha, maybe you'll really get lucky and find some of that lost treasure.

"All right, now that I've told you, I'll be staying here with you. I won't lift a finger unless it's an emergency, and you don't need to disturb me either."

Luo Chen turned and walked over to the mainmast, sat down against it and closed it, having finished speaking.

"Mm, there's no hope left. Not only have we failed to find the gold, but now we have a lord to wait on. Sigh!!!"

Even after hearing Luo Chen's words, Nami didn't react. She remained slumped on the ground and spoke in low spirits.

"Gold? It's all here with me. If you want it, come and take it!"

Suddenly, a voice rang out from the bow.

"Who? Who's speaking?"

Hearing another unfamiliar voice, the people on the boat immediately grew alert. They looked in puzzlement toward the bow, where the voice had come from, and asked.

"Crack!!!"

A bolt of lightning descended from the sky and struck the bow. It transformed into Enel, who sat down in Luffy's special seat, looked at them and spoke calmly.

"The gold is all here with me. Well? Want to come and take it?"

"Enel, it's you! Why are you here?"

Gan Fall was astonished by his appearance and questioned him.

"Hahaha, don't say that. Former God Gan Fall, come to think of it, we haven't seen each other in six years. I've come to say goodbye.

"There's a survival game underway on Upper Yard right now. The Shandia, the Blue Sea People, the priests and the divine soldiers-and me, of course-will decide the final winner, who will follow me to Fairy Vearth. That's why I'm here."

Enel answered, laying out his entire plan. He was preparing to hold a survival game here, treating the Shandia warriors who were prepared to give their lives to take Enel's head as part of the game.

It was in very poor taste, and it suited the mentality of someone who called himself a god.

"A survival game? Bastard, don't joke around! Why would we possibly go along with something so ridiculous?"

Sanji shouted and charged at him. Then...

"Crack!!!"

Lightning flashed and thunder roared. Sanji fell unconscious, his body charred black and streaks of electricity still crackling over him.

"Honestly, to think you'd dare dream of challenging a god. How ignorant!"

Enel shook his head as he spoke, seemingly paying no heed to anyone on the boat.

"Sanji!!! You bastard! Sure-kill-Green Star!"

Usopp shouted and attacked Enel as well. Before a pellet filled with gunpowder could reach him, Enel pointed a finger at him and sent lightning from its tip, knocking him to the ground.

"Bang!!!"

The ammunition scattered across the ground.

"Be good and keep quiet, and I won't attack you. Understand?"

Enel spoke to Nami without expression.

"Mm!!!"

Terrified, Nami hurriedly covered her mouth and nodded.

"That's more like it. Now then, Gan Fall, as the former god of Sky Island, do you have anything else to say to me? If not, I'll be leaving. After all, I'm a player in the game too!"

Enel turned to Gan Fall and asked.

"Wait, Enel! How are my subordinates now? Have you released the people you enslaved?"

Seeing that Enel was about to leave, Gan Fall hurriedly questioned him.

"Well? Only a god can know that."

"Crack!!!"

With that, he transformed into a bolt of lightning and left. Before leaving, however, he took a deliberate look at where Luo Chen was, but said nothing and left without stopping.

After he left, Nami finally breathed a sigh of relief and sat down.

"Well? Enel didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Luo Chen strolled over and asked. He had watched the entire sequence of events but hadn't chosen to help. After all, Enel hadn't intended to fight him again either, which was why he had only glanced at him in the end and left without saying anything.

"What are you talking about? He didn't attack us?

"He beat my companions into this state!"

Nami angrily pointed at Usopp and the others and demanded an answer from Luo Chen.

"And didn't you say you wouldn't act unless there was an emergency? Then why didn't you do anything just now?"

She still seemed to be dwelling on what he had just done and paid him no further attention.

"Hey, hey, hey. That was all your business, wasn't it? Besides, Enel wasn't really planning to attack you, which is why I didn't show up.

"Otherwise, do you think this boat would still be here? Also, you'd better be careful again. More enemies are coming. You can handle them, so I don't intend to act this time either."

Seeing that Nami wasn't treating him kindly, Luo Chen didn't press his company on her, instead warning them in an even tone.

"Huh?! More enemies? Is it him? You have to do something this time! Are you planning to make two frail women and an old man handle them?"

Nami had originally been ignoring Luo Chen, but when she heard more enemies were coming, she shamelessly pushed them onto him.

"Honestly, I already said they're enemies you can handle. Why do I still have to do anything?"

Luo Chen complained.

"No. If you won't act, then don't come aboard.

"Besides, you just boasted that you could fight Enel without losing. You should let us see what you can do."

Nami threatened to keep him off the boat if he didn't act.

"All right, all right, I'll do it.

"Come on out, Satori's two useless younger brothers!"

Unable to argue her down, Luo Chen had no choice but to act. He stepped forward, sensed two familiar voices and spoke toward a spot in the air.
