Background / History

Coal Ball hatched after Han Xing's Exotic Beast Egg incubated for 100 hours. Han Xing initially mistook the palm-sized black creature for an ordinary puppy, but it immediately displayed teleportation and evasive capabilities. After identifying it as a Void Dire Wolf, he named it Coal Ball and began raising its potential with Spirit Cores. 32 33

It was tested in combat against four level 3 Horned Sheep while only level 1. Coal Ball fought obediently despite the numerical disadvantage, relying on its speed, evasion, and Void abilities to maul the sheep. It was injured by Sky Piercing Horns when Void Body failed to activate, after which it immediately returned to Han Xing on command and was healed with Life Elixir. 33 34

As Han Xing explored Sky Islands and the Cloud Realm, Coal Ball became his primary close-range fighter. It weakened enemies for Han Xing's arrows, diverted Spirit Energy Puppets, and rapidly gained experience from shared kills. 35 54 56

During the Void Riot, Coal Ball discovered that killing Void Beasts allowed it to absorb their Void Force for permanent attributes and potential value. This trait fueled successive evolutions: SS growth amid Void turbulence, SS+ through Beast Blood, and eventually Legendary advancement through its activated Void Royalty Bloodline. 330 333 338 348

Coal Ball later became a major covert-combat asset. It destroyed Yuan Ju City's psionic cannons while concealed in Void Eternal Night, killed three Legendary Demons, and absorbed potential from Legendary creatures during the operation. 416

After becoming a True God, Coal Ball merged with Eternal Night during a critical battle. The fusion allowed it to revive alongside Han Xing but reduced it to a weapon spirit whose peak God-King strength could not grow normally. Han Xing continued searching for a way to restore it as an independent creature. 623 631

The Great Beast Lord ultimately transformed Coal Ball into a Void Creature with a Dual-Source Body, restoring its ability to cultivate and granting spatial force. It later advanced through Lord-class and Divine Domain Lord-level transformations. 695 698 912

Appearance

Coal Ball was initially a palm-sized black wolf cub resembling a puppy. It grew rapidly into a large wolf, then into a Void Royalty whose battle forms ranged from several meters long to planetary and star-field scale. Personality

Coal Ball is fiercely obedient to Han Xing, carrying out commands without hesitation even against overwhelmingly stronger enemies. It is eager to fight, seeks approval after victories, and happily accepts food or praise from its master. 33 35

Although formidable in battle, it is shy around large groups and usually remains in the pet space. It is affectionate toward Han Xing, guarded him during two years of cultivation, and is notably friendly with Zhang Lianmeng and Su Xiaoyang, even letting them ride on its back. It is far less welcoming toward Cheng Jianyong and Shen Yun. 329 348 632
