You're saying that Saint Jiringomu can let Loki enter his dreams and then take the opportunity to kill him?
That's overthinking it. With Loki's current strength and the power of his Haki, Jiringomu couldn't possibly make him willingly enter Loki's dreams. He could only go with the flow and exert some influence while Loki was sleeping.
But this had no effect on Loki; it couldn't harm a hair on his head. Making Loki dream of something he feared was quite difficult. Loki was a fearless person; could he possibly dream of something he was afraid of? Even Shanks, who had locked him up, wasn't something he was afraid of!
So the battle that followed was simple. With the Ryu Ryu no Mi ability no longer very useful, Jiringomu could only rely on Haki, physical skills, and immortality. However, his Haki was far inferior, and Loki was also a prodigy, possessing extraordinary strength from a young age. Jiringomu simply couldn't compete with him!
In terms of physical combat, Jiringomu is definitely stronger than Loki. His Six Powers are not bad. However, Loki is a Titan, and a Colossal Titan at that, whose limb movement speed is even faster than Shave!
In Loki's eyes, Jiringomu was just a frozen fly. He saw every single movement of Gillingham. The rest is self-explanatory; it was a simple fly-swatting exercise!
Giants are much larger and have greater inertia, so they might not run very fast, but they can cover a great distance. Compared to a person of average size, that speed is already quite fast!
Even faster is their physical movement speed—the speed at which they swing their arms while standing still. Even ordinary people can create afterimages with that swing, and the strong are incredibly fast!
This is an internal movement of the body, which is different from overall movement. It relies on a chain reaction of bones, nerves, and muscles. This speed is extremely fast, just like how a normal person can't catch a flying fly, but can kill it within the range of limb movement!
So Jiringomu was quickly defeated; he couldn't outrun him, he couldn't dodge him, and even his immortality was useless!
Fourteen years ago, Loki was able to use Conqueror's Haki, which was effective against immortality, by sheer chance. Now, his Conqueror's Haki is only stronger, and with proper guidance, he is even more adept at fighting. As a result, Jiringomu was smashed to pieces by Loki's Iron Thunder and could never regenerate!
On the other hand, Luffy is not having such an easy time. Although Imu's true form is not here, his Conqueror's Haki is not weak, and with his many tricks up his sleeve, Luffy is really no match for him!
Last time in Egghead Vic fought Imu without using the complete Law of Lightning, and the two were evenly matched. This shows that after Imu's divine descent, apart from not having the strength of the God Realm, he was still one of the strongest among those below the God Realm!
So it's normal that Luffy is no match for Imu, even though he has mastered Conqueror's Haki, which counters immortality, he doesn't have much use for it!
Upon seeing that familiar white figure, Imu's eyes blazed with murderous intent. He no longer saw anyone else; he was determined to kill the other Joy Boy here. Last time in Egghead, he was held back by Vic the whole time and had no chance to make a move. This time, he would not miss the opportunity again!
Within a short span of fifteen minutes, Luffy had already exhausted his stamina and aged considerably. If it weren't for the Drums of Liberation allowed him to recover quickly, he might have been killed by Imu.
Imu is incredibly strong. Even his God Descent clone is ridiculously powerful. He can borrow the abilities of all the God's Knights and the Five Elders. Luffy is essentially fighting a whole group by himself. It would be strange if he could win!
Don't be fooled by the fact that Vic can hold off Imu; try him against someone else and you'll see how tough he is!
When Jiringomu was torn to pieces by Loki, Imu merely glanced at him and then ignored him!
He ignored Loki, but Loki wouldn't let him go. Loki had already realized that this enemy was not someone the Straw Hat Boy could handle, and perhaps even with him, it wouldn't be enough, but he still wanted to give it a try!
Gaban's Conqueror's Conqueror's Haki technique can indeed counter immortality, but before Gaban fell to the Sun World, Imu did not descend upon Gunko. If Imu had descended earlier, Gaban would have known that his Conqueror's Haki had failed!
Loki took a step and arrived not far from Imu. He swung his hammer directly at Im, who was about to finish off the Straw Hat Boy. The Imu, which was wrapped in Armament Haki and Conqueror's Haki, deflected the arrow that was being shot at Luffy!
Gunko's arrow ability is indeed somewhat like a conceptual ability; it hits exactly where you point it. As long as you point the arrow in a direction, the designated person or object will travel along the direction of the arrow to the designated location.
Just like before, when Gunko gave the giant children an arrow, they would uncontrollably move in the opposite direction of the arrow!
But this is the world of One Piece, where there are no absolute concepts of power. Any power can be countered by Haki; it all depends on how strong your Haki is!
Loki's Haki was naturally strong enough, so the arrow that Imu shot was directly knocked away by him. This was not the first time that the arrow had been knocked away when Imu borrowed Gunko's power!
Previously in Mary Geoise, Vic had deflected an arrow Imu shot at Cobra, and later the mysterious man in black also deflected an arrow he shot at Vic.
In summary, if your Haki is strong enough, even conceptual abilities will be suppressed!
"Thanks!"
Luffy activated the Drums of Liberation and it was restored. He thanked Loki, Imu's strength exceeded his expectations. The method of restraint he learned from Gaban seemed to have no effect on Imu.
Therefore, Luffy no longer objects to Loki's involvement. If he can't win, he can't win. He won't act like a lone hero anymore; he's matured!
With Loki's addition, the two sides were finally able to barely reach a draw, instead of the situation being one-sided!
With Imu, the main force, tied up, Jiringomu already dealt with, only Saint Shepherd Sommers remains. He's not faring well under Zoro's blade either. Zoro's Conqueror's Haki is becoming increasingly proficient, and with the added effect of Enma, Saint Shepherd Sommers's thorns can no longer stop Zoro's blade. Defeat is only a matter of time!
Other threats include the nightmare monsters summoned by Jiringomu and the Demon Legion transformed by Imu!
The Nightmare Monsters were strengthened by Imu, so they won't disappear with the defeat of Jiringomu, but they also won't resurrect indefinitely anymore. Once they're killed, they're truly gone. Thanks to Aokiji's efforts, the Nightmare Monsters are becoming fewer and fewer!
As for the Demon Legion, their numbers weren't that many. At first, it was mostly the Giant Warrior Pirates who were converted, because Dorry and Brogy led their crews to charge towards Imu in a fierce manner, and then they switched sides!
After that, they received Imu's order to kill Elder Jarul. The others were swept up by the marching Demon Legion and corrupted. Their total number was not large, but they were all stronger individually!
The rest of the Straw Hat Pirates were trying to stop the demonized, lawless giants. Sanji also rushed over after Loki took on Jiringomu as his opponent!
With Sanji and Jinbe, two billion-level bounty criminals, there's no threat to the strongest Dorry and Brogy. The other members of the Straw Hat Pirates are also strong, and they can handle ordinary demonized giants!
Even Usopp, who is the weakest in terms of overall strength, was able to briefly subdue several demonic giants with a seed bullet that has a special effect!
