The news was making headlines all over the world; some people knew that the mysterious creature was Kaido, but most didn't.

Kaido's dragon transformation was hidden by the World Government. As for why they did this, it was probably to reduce the influence of pirates, since dragons are truly awe-inspiring.

They've always done it this way: the good things are done by the World Government and the Navy, and the bad things are done by the pirates.

Some of Vic East Blue's acquaintances also saw the newspaper; some were enthusiastic, some were gratified, and some sighed.

Those who didn't know Vic had a much wider range of reactions. Some thought, "I could do that too," while others thought Vic was indeed very strong. For example, Dracule Mihawk, who isn't a full-fledged Navy Hunter yet, might challenge Koby someday.

Vic was in a coma for three days, but his body recovered very quickly. He was physically strong to begin with, and his body also had a large amount of stored energy, which allowed him to repair his body rapidly.

The first thing Vic saw when he woke up was Rebecca with her wine-red hair.

Rebecca was still lying on Vic's bedside. Vic was very familiar with this scene; it was the first person he saw when he woke up in this world. The scene was exactly the same, except that the two of them had grown up now!

" Rebecca is finally awake? That's wonderful!"

Vic looked around and realized that he was in a bedroom of a wooden cabin by the sea.

After Vic's condition stabilized, Rebecca carried him here. Rebecca had been taking care of Vic for three days and three nights without closing her eyes, Rebecca only just fallen asleep a little while ago.

Rebecca was suddenly awakened when Vic was hit by Kaido's club, which startled Wendy, who was next to her. The first thing Wendy did was ask where Vic was.

When she went outside to look for him, she found Vic surrounded by the crowd on a small piece of land.

Vic was lying on the ground, covered in blood. This was a scene Rebecca had never seen before. She had never seen Vic so disheveled, not even when fighting Red-Hair, Zephyr, or Vice Admiral Garp.

Rebecca was instantly heartbroken. She staggered over, falling several times before finally reaching the edge of the crowd. She roughly pushed aside the students surrounding her and threw herself on Vic, wailing loudly.

Rebecca cried and shouted, "I want to become stronger, stronger and stronger, until no one will dare to hurt you again!"

The scene shocked everyone around, even Gion cast an admiring glance at Rebecca.

Vic breathed a sigh of relief when she realized it was her cabin, and she reached out to ruffle Rebecca's burgundy hair.

Rebecca was a light sleeper because she was taking care of Vic, so she woke up immediately when she felt someone touching her. When she saw that it was Vic, she was pleasantly surprised.

" Vic, you're finally awake! I thought you were gone forever!"

Rebecca had tears in her eyes, but a smile on her face. She gripped Vic's hand tightly, afraid that Vic would leave her at any moment.

"Silly girl, do you think I'm so easy to kill? It's Kaido. In a few years, I'll show him why flowers are so red!"

Vic said arrogantly, which made Rebecca laugh along.

" Rebecca, how long have I been unconscious? What happened during that time?" Vic asked.

"You were unconscious for three days and three nights. Nothing major happened during those days, except that you made headlines again. The Rear Admiral Gion visited you several times, and Smoker and Hina also came. They left only after seeing that you were alright!" Rebecca replied.

"Um, Rebecca, when did you wake up?"

Rebecca had been unconscious since her injury, and she didn't wake up even when Vic was knocked unconscious during his bet with Kaido. Vic was very worried about her.

"I woke up while you were unconscious. I had a nightmare in which you were hit by a horned monster and sent flying with a stick, covered in blood. That's when I woke up!" Rebecca said, still shaken.

"This shouldn't be a dream. You must Awakening your Observation Haki and unconsciously used it while you were unconscious. I was indeed hit by a horned guy. What happened after that?" Vic analyzed, then continued to ask.

"Later, Barnett kept using his Devil Fruit power to heal you. When we carried you onto the warship, Vice Admiral Garp arrived. He was very happy to know you were still alive."

"We came back together. You had a lot of broken bones, but thankfully none of them were fatal!" Rebecca recounted.

"Is that Vice Admiral Garp? No wonder Kaido left so quickly, I feel like he has something to say to me!" Vic thought to himself.

Feeling much better, Vic left his room and went to the beach, intending to catch a Sea Kings to celebrate. Rebecca followed him to the beach.

When the two arrived at the beach, a figure emerged from the sea—it was Little Yellow, dressed in white.

Vic was somewhat surprised; what was this guy still doing here?

At this moment, Little Yellow was looking at Vic with a fawning expression, putting on a funny face for him.

" Rebecca, what's this guy still doing here?"

"Oh, because you were unconscious at the time, and you were the one who caught Little Yellow, so no one was authorized to let it go. Without your permission, Little Yellow was too scared to leave on its own, so it followed us here, hee hee!" Rebecca finished speaking and laughed.

Hearing Rebecca's words, Little Yellow nodded frantically, his movements blurring into a blur, and his smile grew even more obsequious.

Vic was somewhat speechless. Was his intimidation power really that strong? It seemed so. Even giant Sea Kings had to give him some face. He probably intimidated Little Yellow back then.

" Little Yellow, you can go now. I agree."

Vic said calmly, Little Yellow nodded excitedly, about to turn around and dive.

"But I have a piece of advice for you. Take my advice: from now on, try not to sleep if you can avoid it. I'm afraid you'll see your grandma in your dreams!" Vic sighed.

Little Yellow turned around and looked at Vic with a puzzled expression. Seeing that Vic had no intention of keeping it, it simply swam away underwater, while Rebecca burst into laughter.

Without further delay, Vic plunged into the sea.

An hour later, the seaside was filled with a rich aroma. Vic ate with great satisfaction. He had used up a lot of energy to treat his injuries, and he would need to eat regularly to replenish it.

After finishing his meal, Vic sat on the grass in front of the cabin, drew the Blood Wither from his waist, and looked at the broken blade. Vic sighed.

His previous plan was to forge two swords of the Supreme Great Grade Sword level once he had collected all the materials.

After the sword was completed, he fed it with Haki, nurturing its essence into Black Blade of the Supreme Great Grade Sword level, just like Hawk-Eye's Black Blade, Yoru. He wanted to achieve perfection in one step.

However, through this period of fighting, Vic realized that his ideas were too idealistic.

Hawk-Eye couldn't have had Supreme Great Grade Sword from the start; it was only later, as his strength increased, that he had more ways to acquire Supreme Great Grade Sword. Vic fell into thought.

The same principle applies to him. If you have the strength, what material can't you get? If you really can't find one, you can just steal the Famous Sword from those great pirates and melt them down to forge a new one.

The Black Blade Shusui is only Great Grade Sword, so why be so demanding? Just wait until the sword can no longer support you in battle, then collect materials and fight it!

With their fighting strength at that time, they could have simply Whitebeard's sword.

He had already given up on Blood Wither and Yubashiri in his heart. When he was training his Armament Haki, he never used Haki to actively entwine the two swords, so the strength of the swords did not increase.

When I fought Capzeff before, we were both on the same side and held back. I only felt that my knife was difficult to withstand.

But this time, he's met Kaido, and he won't take it easy on you; he smashed Blood Wither in two in one go.

If Vic had allowed the knife to rest and heal for a while, the attack might have ended prematurely, since the time was too short. However, his own injuries might not have been as severe.
